One could see a boy with blonde hair running in the middle of a forest while taking deep breaths. It was Naruto doing his normal taijutsu training to make his body faster and stronger.
His training consists of running 10 km per day, 100 push-ups, 100 squats, and 100 sit-ups. He will increase these numbers once his body adapts and can easily withstand the training.
He doesn't really have any major reasons to do it, since no matter how hard he trains to increase his chakra, he won't be able to use it now. Almost all of his chakra is used to maintain Kurama's seal. Another reason is that he doesn't really have a fixed fighting style.
He just adapts to what the situation demands to attack without stopping.
He just wants his body to be stronger and faster than the rest of the shinobi, that's all.
"This haaaa is more haa tiring than expected," Naruto muttered as he took deep breaths while running. He really didn't expect that doing this simple training would be so tiring for his current body.
In his past life, although he did train his taijutsu and body, after he got the sage body of the Jugo clan, he didn't really need to train his body since his Heaven Devouring Seal not only let him devour abilities and bloodlines but also remove their backlashes.
For example, even though Itachi had an incurable disease and Naruto devoured his cells, Naruto would only get his abilities like his Sharingan and stuff, but not his disease.
You could say Naruto's Heaven Devouring Seal is pretty much a broken ability.

Back to the topic, when Naruto got the Jugo clan's sage body, he didn't receive the side effects they had and was able to absorb natural energy effortlessly, making his body stronger without any training.
It's just like you and your best friend are playing Minecraft: you are working hard in survival mode, grinding for diamonds, while that bastard is using creative mode and cheat mods to get ultimate power. You stand no chance against him.
Soon, Naruto reached a river where many of his clones were practicing Ice Release and trying to create new jutsus.
It had already been two weeks since Team 7 came to the Land of Waves. At first, Kakashi used to train them almost every day, but then he just let them do whatever they wanted. He was like, "Do whatever but train."
Naruto just used his clones to work on Ice Release-related jutsus while he himself trained his body. He had increased his training level today, which is why he was getting tired so easily.
"Oh! You're back," one of Naruto's clones, who had a floating ice arrow in his hand, said as soon as he saw Naruto approaching. "Look, I made a new jutsu," the clone said before using Wind Release to make the ice arrow spin and hit a bird, shredding it to pieces.
"That's just a copy of Obsidian Arrow but a little weaker," Naruto said with an unimpressed face. What his clone did was use a levitation jutsu to make the ice arrow float and then use Wind Release to make it spin and increase its speed, which was a ditto copy of his Obsidian Arrow jutsu from his past life.
"It's enough for today." As soon as Naruto thought this, all of his clones disappeared, and all of their memories were absorbed by him.
"Hmm... Ice Release isn't all that special," Naruto thought before using a levitation jutsu to fly towards Tazuna's house. For the past two weeks, he had been using his Shadow Clone Jutsu to its fullest.
While he trained his body, his clones tried to create jutsus for Ice Release since Naruto didn't have any jutsus for it. But the thing is, Ice Release is not that powerful even for a mid-rank release.
Even now, Naruto could only make some weapons out of it, like an ice sword or an arrow, which his clone just used.
However, they would be pretty disadvantageous to use against an elite jonin if you don't get the kill in a single attack since ice weapons require constant chakra.
Though they would be able to cut a normal person in two without any resistance quite easily.
"This bridge was completed sooner than expected," Naruto thought as he flew above the clouds to see the bridge that Tazuna had just finished building. Since Naruto was flying above the clouds, no one could see him.
"We'll leave this place today, I guess," Naruto thought as he landed on the ground about a mile away from the village they were currently staying in.
As soon as he landed, Naruto started walking towards the village. He could have just landed inside the village, but if he did that, Kakashi would surely see him and ask about his levitation jutsu.
Because you don't normally see a 12-year-old kid flying in the air in the shinobi world. In fact, you don't even see people flying at all.
"Naruto!" When Naruto was just a few meters away from the village, he heard a voice yelling towards him. As soon as he heard this voice, his face turned ugly. He had started to find this voice rather annoying these days.
It was Sasuke, who was now standing in front of him. "Naruto! Fight me once more!"
"Not this shit again, Sasuke," Naruto said in an unbothered tone as he walked towards Sasuke. He didn't know why this little brat had become so obsessed with fighting him.
All Naruto did was obliterate Sasuke in a taijutsu fight and call him the shame of the Uchiha.
"I will defeat you this time," Sasuke said again. If you had watched Naruto, you know that what Sasuke is doing used to be Naruto's job, but everything has changed.
Sasuke literally got owned by Naruto in a fight a week ago. By literally, I mean he got his balls kicked 4 times non-stop (Hehe, classic), his face was punched 15 times in a minute non-stop, and after all that, Naruto even called him the shame of the Uchiha.
If it were some normal shinobi, he might have already found a puddle to drown in out of shame, but Sasuke is built differently. He now wants to give Naruto a taste of his own medicine, but every time, little bro gets owned by Naruto.
"Those were your exact words before our last four fights, Sasuke. Tell me, do you really want to get your balls and lineage destroyed?" Naruto said with an indifferent face. He had a point; he might have kicked Sasuke in the balls more than 20 times in the past week.
Though Sasuke also tried to kick Naruto in the balls once, he failed and got even more kicks to his own.
{A/N: At this point, I might just give Naruto the title "The Legendary Ball Kicker" Lol}
"Narut-" Sasuke was just about to say something when he was interrupted by Sakura's voice from behind.
"Sasuke! Naruto! Kakashi-sensei said we are leaving, so go and pack your bags," Sakura yelled with a bag on her shoulder. Although Kakashi had told her to go and find Sasuke and Naruto 15 minutes ago, Sakura hadn't been able to find them.
Naruto had been training in the middle of the forest, and Sasuke was also doing his shuriken training. When Sasuke suddenly saw Naruto approaching the village, he asked him for a duel.
"Oh!" Naruto muttered before disappearing from where he was standing.
"He ran away again!" Sasuke thought in an annoyed tone before disappearing too.
Sakura stood there staring blankly at the sky. Even though Sasuke didn't care about her, Naruto used to care and simp over her. But now, both of them didn't seem to give a fuck about her.
Not even Kakashi gave a fuck about her or the entire Team 7, which, to be honest, made Sakura think, why was she even here?
{A/N: Just to suffer... Just kidding}
Ten minutes later.
"So, are you ready to start our journey back home?" Kakashi, who was standing near the entrance gate of the village, asked Team 7, who was standing in front of him with their bags packed.
Honestly, even Kakashi knew this mission wasn't really beneficial to Team 7 since he wasn't able to teach them properly because he had to protect Tazuna and the bridge builders from Gato's goons.
But still, he thought Team 7 was ready for the Chunin Exams, which would happen soon. Even though he was only able to teach them for a few days, Team 7 showed really great talent.
"Yes, sensei!" Only Sakura replied, as Naruto was once again deep in thought like he was about to solve a world problem, while Sasuke, being Sasuke, was just acting cold as he normally did.
"Okay, let's get going," Kakashi said as he looked around to see if Tazuna had come to see them off. He hadn't. Seriously, Team 7 wasted their time and almost did the work for free, and Tazuna couldn't even come to see them off?
As they started to walk, Naruto, who was walking behind the three of them, made two shadow clones and sent them back to the village. The clones, while running, used a transformation jutsu to transform into two average-looking guys.

"Haaa, the bridge is finally completed," Tazuna, who was sitting comfortably inside his home, muttered to himself as he thought of all the things he had gone through to build this bridge.
Crack
Bang
Suddenly, Tazuna heard the sound of his window and door being destroyed as two shinobis with ice swords entered his house.
"W-Wh-Who are you?" Tazuna said in a very scared voice as he tried to stand up and run away, thinking Gato had sent even more goons after him.
But as he tried to stand up, his legs were cut down by one of the shinobi.
"Ahhhhhhhhhhhh!"
Tazuna yelled in pain before the shinobi who had cut down his legs came towards him and whispered in his ear, "Who's the midget now?" before stabbing his ice sword into Tazuna's heart.
Meanwhile, the second clone went to the second floor and opened the door of one of the rooms.
"Who are you?" Tazuna's daughter asked as she hid her son behind her, seeing the stranger with a sword enter the room.
But before she could say anything, she and her son both got stabbed by the ice sword and were killed.
"Well... that was easy," Naruto's clone who had just killed Tazuna thought in his mind before disappearing. Soon, the second clone also disappeared, and all their memories were absorbed by Naruto, who was now boarding a boat to go to the Land of Fire.
"Ah! How satisfying," Naruto thought in a psychopathic tone as the memories of killing Tazuna came to his mind. From the moment Tazuna called Naruto a midget and an imbecile, he was destined to die, and that too along with his family.

{A/N: Okay, I kind of rushed the Land of Waves arc since this arc had nothing interesting to show without stretching it and making the story boring. But I can assure you that the next Chunin Exam arc will be far better than the Land of Waves and will really show how ruthless the MC is.}
