1 1 - Chakra Steal

Konohagakure.

Inside the shinobi training academy , classes were being held as usual. In the class of first years , a five year old kid was pretending to be asleep while actualy he was feeling very depressed.

Why wont he?

The kid's name is Sato Nori and his real identity is a transmigrator! He was 26 at the age of his death and now he was stuffed into a 5 year old body.

This fact alone was not depressing as he had actualy crossed over into Naruto world where he can train to become a cool shinobi. He even had a unique power which would help him immensely in the journey.

But the problem was , here he was stuck with other 30 5 year old kids learning how to read and write. This was a place to train shinobi but it would be nothing if the kids could not even read and understand the topics.

Naturaly this was depressing for Nori because with his older mind , he had understood this world's language in just few days but ever since he had to spend his time pretending to study.

There were four classes of the same year. Nori was in the class for civilian orphan kids as they had to first learn from reading and writing unlike other kids who have been already taught by their guardians. The clan kids on the other hand were in class 1 and they were already learning basics of taijutsu and shurikenjutsu.

Fortunately, Nori's fate was not that bad either because after the classes, he had all the time for himself. He had already come in this world for three months now and had taken the first step in training.

The public library which was available to everyone in the village , had much knowledge which he needed like basics of body conditioning and chakra manipulation. Ninjutsu , Genjutsu etc were still not in Nori's mind as he was aware that he could start training them after his base is solid. After all this way he could identify mistakes more easily thus shortening the practice time.

Nori's daily routine was morning run , circulating his chakra faster and faster inside his body until exhaustion , eat breakfast, attend classes, then body stretches and push ups, pull ups, squats, kicks, punches etc. After that he would practice his chakra control. Basically Nori made it sure to not waste his time and trains with all his might.

The results were great too. His chakra capacity was poor right now so instead his chakra control advanced leaps and bounds. He could circulate his chakra very easily and quickly inside his body now like his instinct. This would help him cast jutsu speedily in future. All that body training had increased his stamina by a lot and of course good improvement in his speed and strength too.

Nori was never satisfied though. The reason was simple because he knew that in the future he would face monsters like Madara and Kaguya. He had no special bloodline so to combat with them Nori could only hone his skills as much as he could.

What was the difference between civilian and clan shinobi?

Talent? No. Clan shinobi may have some advantage with their unique jutsu but that's all.

The biggest difference was potential in growth of chakra capacity. Civilians had much lower maximum limit than clan shinobi as they had no cheat bloodline limit. People like Minato Namikaze were exceptions.

Some civilians may become jounin or even elite jonin but they were also exceptions.

Nori was relaxed on chakra capacity topic though. After all his cheat power " Chakra steal " as he had named it , will insure that Nori never stunts his growth in chakra capacity.

Hehe.. while others train hard , Nori just need to find a fresh corpse of some shinobi or chakra beast to steal their leftover chakra and increase his own reserves permanently.

The power had the limit of one use per month but that was something which Nori did not mind much. After all he understands that his body cells need some time to adapt to newfound power. Nori had tested his power already and felt the change in his body by himself.

After first month of training, Nori battled a small snake chakra beast inside Training Ground 8 and tested his power on its corpse.

The process was unexpectedly too simple and the results were magnificent. He just touched the corpse with his right palm and mentally activated his power. Then he felt a stream of pleasant power transfering from the corpse and automatically circulating through his body.

With each circulation, he could feel his cells greedily absorbing the power and becoming more powerful. After the process was over in about ten or so seconds, Nori felt changes in his mind too because his thinking speed was a little faster than before. He connected the dots and understood that this must also be one of the benifits of increased chakra.

Chakra was combination of physical and spiritual power so it made sense that with the increased body stats , spiritual energy would also increase. At that time , his chakra capacity increased by almost a thirty percent in one go so the increase in thinking capacity could be felt otherwise he would not feel it during regular breakthrough in training as the growth would be way slower.

All in all , Nori was gratified as with this power , he would not be exhausting his potential as it would increase step by step with each use. The speed of training will also increase after each use thus he would be able to keep up with the geniuses of this world.

So Nori was even more furious listening to his teacher in the class as he could use this time to train more. Alas no one would bother to give him special treatment as according to his investigations, even clan kids of his year were not extorted from classes yet..

Anyway in three days , it would be time of assessment. Nori could show his teachers that he had no problem with his studies and could even fight with clan kids during taijutsu assessment. Then teachers would surely change his class to genius class.

If they did not then Nori would take avatar of Naruto and prank the hell out of them...
