6 Profundly wise paths and stand your ground

After meditating and diving into his own mental plane, a few bright spots appeared floating around, but the surrounding area was basically dark.

Bakura didn't mind.

The amount of force his chakra had didn't matter much to him, at this moment he paid attention to the whole picture.

Red graded chakra, fragmented and disordered forms with no attributes.

'Attributeless with a disordered soul realm.' He smiled. 'Although all networks of chakra were very strong, if one were to say which kind was in theory the weakest, it undoubtedly would be the non-attributed type. This is because it doesn't have any characteristic at all and the chakra network form is not condensed. But I do know as a matter of fact that this assumption is completely false if I take my mysterious knowledge into the equation, and seeing how well Nie Li did during his second chance, my true potential actually knows no bounds."

Bakura submerged deep into his thoughts.

If there were any cultivation techniques suitable for attributeless chakra networks, then there would only be one option: Sage of Six Paths cultivation technique.

Among all of the techniques he knew, it was the most profound, in higher levels it might even got really overbearing, but is also the most secretive given that it also depended on the nurturing the user received.

Based on future potential, it had the highest, but was also the hardest to practice.

With an attributeless chakra network, practising any kind of cultivation technique will be much slower than others.

But if one is able to practice with the Sage of Six Paths cultivation technique, it would be the strongest overall, since it shares various properties similar to attributeless soul realms.

Once one succeeds in practicing with the technique, one would be able to mimic all kinds of cultivation techniques from all the different attributes, resulting in one having supreme power and being able to create their own path.

Practicing normal cultivation techniques, the soul realm would only be able to contain one beast spirit.

If you get a stronger beast spirit then the previous spirit would need to be replaced.

But in the case of Sage of Six Paths cultivation technique, one can contain countless different beast spirits, each with a different attribute, and combine them however the user saw fit.

Every time one integrated a beast spirit, one's strength would surge by a fold.

Gathering more than one powerful beast spirit can cause the cultivation and combat abilities to reach an alarming unimaginable level.

He didn't hesitated not even for a split second.

Although the training speed isn't fast, much slower compared to Naruko's, Satsuki's and even his close friends, once training and the cultivation is successfully completed, then Sage of Six Paths cultivation technique is without a doubt the strongest!

Bakura mediated through the chants, and began the most basic practice.

In the future he will require the support of large amount of elixirs of the highest quality imaginable, but for now he would only have time to practice the basic fundamentals.

Seeing as Bakura began his training, Rocky, Tenko and the rest that were present in the room also began to practice their own cultivation techniques and began to absorb the energy from heaven and earth to strengthen their network of chakra.

The more they practice, the more they realise how mysterious and profound those cultivation techniques were.

Five people had their five reserves of chakra rapidly rotating, surging up and expanding.

Whether it's Naruko, Satsuki, or Bakura's closest friends, the force of their chakra began to enhance significantly.

The process of enhancing is simply astonishingly fast.

After all, the cultivation technique given to them by Bakura are all earth-shatteringly powerful techniques, that once started, the speed of practicing with it compared to normal cultivation techniques are ten or even more than hundred times faster.

Bakura was practicing his ultimate technique, currently he doesn't seek fast cultivating, but prefered steadily multi layering his foundation one step at a time.

His chakra network was like the sea surging, constantly changing it's shape.

Portions of its force ebbing and flowing, he felt that it already had been significantly strengthen.

The first stage of strengthening one's force of chakra was to practice until reaching the level of mind and soul as one.

With the continuous enhancing of chakra, theirs reserves began to surge over and over, gradually releasing a violet glow.

Bakura and his group of allies remained in the library devoting themselves into practice.

One day, two days… Over time, Bakura's force rose from 5 to over 30.

This speed was simply amazing.

Only the genius of history possessing that rarest grade of violet chakra, could boast having a strengthening pace close to a tenth of what his companions were performing.

Bakura's speed, however, is considered slow.

Naruko and Satsuki's cultivation speeds were the fastest among the group.

It wouldn't be long until they reach the 1-star bronze rank.

One can only imagine, after finishing a stage of their cultivation, how far would their force have risen?

Reaching bronze rank before the end of the academy, for Bakura this isn't anything.

He might even be able to reach 2-star or 3-star before he even became a Genin! And he was considering he would be able to graduate early due to his rapid growth.

At this moment, in the fighter apprentice class.

For the last couple of days, Bakura seat was empty, almost no one knew where he had gone.

Only Naruko, Satsuki, Rocky and Tenko were aware of the reason of his absence.

Iruka revealed a faint sigh as she continued to lecturers class.

Late in the afternoon.

Majority of the students in Holy Flame Academy all went to eat.

The library was exceedingly quiet, Bakura and the group ate together and talked about their personal advances.

After that, Rocky and Naruto went back to the library with Bakura to continue their practice.

Only Naruko and Satsuki weren't allowed to stay that much time without reporting to their clans.

"Bakura, my force is already 70! With the current speed, I would be able to breakthrough into bronze rank in less than a year!" Rocky whispered, her voice had unquenchable excitement in it.

This speed of cultivation in her view was impossible to imagine!

"Very good!" He chuckled, this speed is within his expectations.

Not just Rocky, Tenko was also in ecstasy and excitement, his force also made great progress.

With the current speed, even for them to reach bronze rank before graduating from the academy would be possible.

Even Naruko and Satsuki, that were almost a step away of crossing said milestone before receiving his unbelievable cultivation techniques, were feeling close to a breakthrough.

Their strengthen of force was simply too fast.

So fast, that it was to the point that it was no longer a lofty goal.

It was just like living within a dream!

"Seeing that we already had strengthening our bodies through rigid training, we only need to get some elixirs, then will our cultivation speed will be faster!" Bakura said.

Listening to her friend's words, Tenko and Rocky were shocked.

Yeah, they hadn't taken any elixirs and their cultivation speed was already this fast.

If they were to consume some elixirs, how fast would their cultivation speed become?

Though elixirs could enhance cultivation, they could cost thousands of yens!

Although two of them were from royal clans and two were from aristocratic families, it simply wouldn't do to be in debt with all those influential factions.

"You guys continue training in the library, I have some matters to take care." Bakura said smiling.

With more money, they can purchase the elixirs that enhance the cultivation.

He was sure that Naruko and Satsuki would definitely receive a decent quantity for themselves.

No one knew what Bakura planned to do, but since he already had his plan, they wouldn't ask much about it.

Just when Bakura and his group finished talking, Bakura's gaze suddenly turned towards a distant direction.

Amongst the rows of book shelves, a graceful tall figure was currently holding a thick book looking down at it.

A head of dark brow hair was like a waterfall falling.

Beside the ears, bundles of hair were tied up with silk thread disguising her snobbish temperament.

The evening sunlight shined on her delicate face, making her more elegant and attractive.

It was Neijire Hyuuga from the branch segment.

Bakura's mood changed after looking at her.

For an instant, countless memories from the time he read one of his favorite manga flooded his head.

Her counterpart in this age, was showed as very calm, disciplined and frankly almost robotic youth.

Because of his upbringing, he believed that young ninjas were faced with a predestined fate and they couldn't shirk their duties.

In essence, Neji lived like a bitter adult in a teenager's body... one of very few words.

This was due to his father dying for the Hyūga clan, which he thought his own family forced the man into.

This is what made him so resentful towards his own family.

But eventually, a fight with Naruto in the chunin exams would "open his eyes".

Yeah, unfortunately Bakura had no knowledge regarding talk no jutsu, which was a massive shame.

Naruko doesn't appear to know as well.

At least for now.

Hopefully her different upbringing won't spoil that.

Sadly, Neji's journey from a cynical anti-hero to an optimistic protagonist was wasted after some massive headcanons.

Worst in Neji's case, was the fact that he fought and lost to what was basically Jesus in the story.

Proving that his "incorrect" mentality was right after all.

Bakura inhaled a deep breath, calming himself down from his inner frustration.

Anyways, since Neijire was still young, he felt a vague need to help her.

Though the constant animosity she showed towards him during classes was definitely something that will prove to be an annoying obstacle.

As he made his way towards her direction, he noticed her wearing a white silk dress leaning against the bookshelf.

With a dignified posture, quiet and elegant.

Bakura, unexpectedly, found that the book Neijire is reading was actually a book about advanced fuinjutsu, which listed and explained a bunch of inscriptions.

She furrowed her brows while flipping through the book.

She is someone that has a strong competitive spirit and is also very hard working, no matter if it's the talent, cultivation, or even her knowledge, she was far stronger than ordinary people.

She still had that a lot of pride in her heart, but she actually realised the gap between her and Bakura was actually very huge.

The stuff in the book of advanced fuinjutsu was too profound!

Like most of similar books, only the first volumes were more accessible, which was expected, but the other volumes were so complex she didn't understood any of it!

On knowledge, Neijire was indeed much better than her peers, but she found the wrong guy to compare herself to.

After all, Bakura had his mysterious and profound knowledge.

Seeing Neijire holding and flipping through the book, he naturally guessed her mind.

He couldn't help but smile as he walked to her side, and said with an innocent yet charming tone. "So, classmate Hyuuga is interested in fuinjutsu? I see, you have already mastered the basic."

After she recovered from her deep thoughts and looked at Bakura, her face revealed an annoyed expression, she obviously did not expect to bump into him here.

Think again, he was probably here reading books, otherwise how could he have that much knowledge this early in the academy?

Especially not being from a noble or royal clan.

"What do you need?" She asked shortly after closing the book and keeping her distance from Bakura.

"This book is a collection of some of the advanced inscriptions available for academy members. But it mostly dwells heavily in the creation process and revision of ancient references so its vocabulary is slightly esoteric and hard to understand, but if you already understand the fuinjutsu concepts and laws from Lady Second, you will find them easier to understand." Bakura smiled saying.

'The second Hokage's concepts and laws?' Neijire carefully recalled, before the first Great Shinobi War, Lady Tobira made leaps and bounds in fuinjutsu study that was rather well recorded as a truly influential revolution to the art, second only to the Fourth Hokage's recent achievements.

Bakura is obviously well-learnt and knows a lot of stuff, Neijire couldn't help to feel a little admiration.

And she hated that.

"But to someone well versed with basic knowledge in the art, I'm sure it'll be a simple matter. Also with your aptitude, fuinjutsu is definitely a technique well suited for you." Bakura's was calm, unlike other students who acted so nervous and stiff in front of Neijire.

"Oh? Care to explain why would inscriptions be suitable for me? Are you somehow aware of my cultivation?" Neijire sizing the boy in front of her, his seemingly vast knowledge caused her to feel a little threatened and angst.

"Usually, individuals hailing from whatever lineage they might be born into, still don't always inherit its traditional nature of cultivation. But the royal clans are major outliers. If I guessed correctly, with your family, you're currently practicing cultivation technique that best complement your dojutsu, so sealing techniques which demands ludicrous precision is probably best suited for your physique!" Bakura faintly smiled saying.

Neijire's white eyes widened, shocked as she look at him, Bakura actually guessed correctly, her ancestors were indeed well recognized for their prowess with seals, but that wasn't a fact well known by others.

How did Bakura reached that conclusion?

Was his knowledge so profound that he even knew relevant details about the Byakugan?

Seeing Neijire's expression, Bakura knew that he guessed correctly, smiled saying. "Although your clan's physique might be common among its integrants, the same cannot be surely assumed about each individuals chakra network's form, so even the cultivation technique your ancestors have used might not be suitable for you."

"The form of one's chakra network?" Neijire frowned her brows, she didn't knew what was that.

"Would you be interested in letting me examine your chakra network's form?" He asked her.

Neijire lowered her head looking at him, thought for a moment and shook her head. "That won't be necessary!"

She still kept her distance from Bakura, having some precautions against him.

Understanding what the situation was, Bakura smiled. He knew that it was still too soon for befriending her.

"So, if you need any aid regarding study, feel free to request." Bakura finished his words, turned around and left.

Neijire astounded looked at him.

She assumed he just came to brag about his knowledge, she didn't knew he was actually working in the academy's library, that would explain his absence in class.

What kind of person could achieve this feat in such young age?

She realised she doesn't understood this classmate at all.

But Bakura was well aware of her character.

The more he tries to get closer to her, the further she will distance herself against him.

The time in the future is still long, first leave a good impression and then slowly build up a relationship.

———————————————————

Just when Bakura was preparing to leave the library, he noticed a hand emerge from the side, knowing what it meant he allowed it to grab onto his collar.

"You?" Bakura's eyes landed on the person and his expression changed.

'So you are supposed to play Shen Yue's role in this scene?' He thought.

This person was Ino's counterpart.

His name was Inosuke.

His right hand grabbed onto Bakura's collar as he stared fiercely at him. "What have we here? The Billboard Brown is chasing another girl even though he already has Satsuki's attention? Tell me, are you always that shameful wise boy?"

"Release your hand, otherwise I won't be polite." Bakura coldly replied.

"Heh, heh, won't be polite to me? Look, you think too highly of yourself, who do you think you are? Thinking you're so great just because you know a few stuff? You're still far too week! Stay away from Satsuki, otherwise, I'll show you a good time!" Inosuke said fiercely.

Rocky and Tenko upon hearing the commotion, immediately rushed over to aid Bakura.

At this moment there were about six or seven followers by Inosuke's side, glaring at the two, both sides' fighting spirit ignited.

The other students in the library upon seeing this, started to distance themselves, fearing that they would become involved in this.

"What happened?"

"I heard that Yamananka Inosuke and Haruno Bakura are having a conflict regarding the Uchiha Goddess from apprentice fighters class, looks like they'll be soon fighting."

"Who is this guy? To actually dare offend an heir of a noble clan, it's really inconceivable!"

"He is crazy, just because he reads a lot he doesn't know his place! Inosuke will soon reach 1-star bronze rank. How can Bakura be able to do anything to him."

In Inosuke's view, with his strength, handling Bakura would be very easy.

He only needed to use 1/10th of his strength to be able to suppress the arrogant pink haired boy!

Bakura, in return, looked at his assailant with contempt.

In his view, even back in canon, he never thought of Ino as a threat to anyone!

And now, the now named Inosuke probably didn't even knew how to perform the Yamanaka's hidden jutsu.

No matter if it's strength or his chakra force level, the current Bakura was still inferior compared to Inosuke.

After all he had only started practicing Sage of Six Paths Cultivation Technique a few days ago.

But in his view, Inosuke's ability of using his strength and chakra were no different from a primitive human.

'Although my current physical strength is low and my Chakra's force is 32, to force you to back off I am more then enough.' Bakura mentally remarked.

"You think that by relying on having a noble clan as a background, you can be arrogant and despotic? Having green graded chakra makes you a genius? You're still far from it!" Bakura holding onto Inosuke's wrist, pressed his middle finger onto its joint.

His strength passed from his middle finger onto the joint, slowly breaking open Inosuke's hold.

And he was surprised to find that when Bakura gripped his hand, his whole arm went numb.

Numb and weak, no matter how he tried to use his strength, his hand couldn't resist being forced open.

In just a moment, Bakura's hand was like a steel clamp, clamping onto Inosuke's wrist, a sharp terrible pain was felt which cause his face to be distorted.

'How did he do that? My strength is obviously stronger than his, but I can't even resist his tightening grip?' Inosuke thought.

In Inosuke's mind, his impression of Bakura has always been that of someone with a bottom rank, poor innate talent with chakra, and weak physique.

While in his mind, he was one of the best in the class, blessed with green soul realm, and had been taking all sorts of elixirs from this young age, causing his physique to be stronger than his peers.

But, in this short battle of strength, he's totally unable to beat the aristocrat boy!

What kind of technique did Bakura used?!

Bakura faintly sneered.

Although his strength at this moment had barely been enhanced, his knowledge to control his strength isn't something that anyone could match.

Bakura penetrated into his assailant acupuncture point on his wrist with the power in his fingertip to instantly cause Inosuke's arm to lose its' strength.

Seeing how his fist was being opened by Bakura, Inosuke's childish face twisted in a pained expression.

His followers were all dumbfounded.

"What happened? What happened to young master Yamanaka?"

They blankly stared at Inosuke.

In their opinion, their leader was certainly more than enough to handle Bakura, but then why would he have such painful expression on his face?

What was going on?

Even Tenko and Rocky were just as surprised.

Although Bakura's strength is still weak, with the vast, profound and mysterious knowledge, even if he was an ordinary person with no cultivation, he was still more then enough to mess with the eight years old Yamananka.

Bakura coldly said. "Satsuki's name isn't something you are worthy of saying. Especially with that disrespectful tone. If you ever face me again with such disrespect, I won't be as merciful!"

"Merciful?!" Inosuke was unwilling to accept the fact, never in his imagination that he considered he would lose to someone like Bakura.

In Bakura's view, there are weak and unguarded spots all over Inosuke. If he desired, the Yamananka kid would already be a dead corpse on the floor in a breath's time.

But he still refrained to do so. He knew that bullying wasn't really his assailant's nature, it's only due to jealousy that he went that far.

However, Bakura won't allow his image to be tarnished in any way without proper retribution.

'Hopefully this won't be all it takes to push you into the role of antagonist. It would be really troublesome.' Bakura thought.

So with extreme speed and skill, Bakura swiftly poked Inosuke's belly, shoulders and legs.

"Urghh!" The Yamananka suddenly let out a shrill, similar to when a pig is being slaughtered.

Wherever Bakura's fingertips attacked, Inosuke felt a sting sensation that radiated and spread through his body.

With a ripping pain, Inosuke's sweat started rolling down all over, gasping to breath, as though he saw something horrifying.

His vision gradually blurred, and Bakura in front of him suddenly became as majestic as the sun!

"What happened? What actually happened?" Inosuke's few bronze rank followers revealed puzzled expressions.

Bakura's actions were too quick, leaving him without any chance to react!

"I'm lazy to waste any more time on you, get lost, and go learn some manners!" Bakura picked Inosuke up with one hand.

With a thrust Bakura flung his hand towards outside.

BOOM!

Inosuke was thrown out of the window, heavily landing onto the ground, raising thick dust.

"Young Master!"

"Boss!"

Inosuke's followers immediately rushed out, and hurriedly helped the Yamananka heir up and immediately brought him away.

The ones watching that knew Bakura and Inosuke were all dumbfounded.

The pink haired aristocrat actually lifted the heir of a noble clan in one hand and threw him out of the window!

Although most of them didn't saw the process of the fight, Inosuke was defeated, this was an indisputable fact.

Everyone in the Library was talking about the matter.

Bakura, Rocky and Tenko exchanged looks.

Rocky's eyes shined with admiration while Tenko simply nodded in respect.

The incident in the Library created ripples among the students, but in the huge Holy Flame Academy, it did not have too big of an impact and eventually it soon calmed down.

And so, Bakura left to take care of unknown matters while his close friends continued to practice diligently.
