Teamwork

The three kids stared at Rize in shock, not only had she almost killed them, but she had run off and taken the bells for herself.

Sasuke was angry, he didn't care anymore, and ran towards Rize to grab the collar of her cloak.

"You! Were you trying to kill us?!" Sasuke asked angrily, his eyes were fierce, and his Sharingan had activated.

Rize looked down and was amused at the sight, "And if I was? What could you do about it?"

"You-" Rize interrupted Sasuke and said, "If you were stronger, you could've dodged it. But you're not strong, that's why you stood in fear, and relied on Kakashi to defend you."

Rize's words not only targeted Sasuke, but the rest of team seven. They felt mixed emotions but the two emotions they felt the most were anger and disappointment. They were angry at the fact that Rize was right and disappointed in the fact that they were indeed weak.

"Okay, that's enough." Kakashi said as he separated Sasuke from Rize. "We're going to continue the test."

Rize handed back the bells to Kakashi.

"What will we be doing now?" Sakura asked.

"The same thing, but this time, there will be three bells. But it will also be slightly different." Kakashi said.

"How so?" Naruto asked.

"Because this time, Rize will have to help the three of you take the bells from me. But you can't be too reliant on her as she won't use all her skills she used previously." Kakashi explained.

Rize understood what Kakashi was trying to do, he was trying to evaluate their teamwork together. But why would the three want to work together with her after she had threatened to kill them?

Well, they were going to be forced to work with her or else they would fail the test.

"Well then," Rize said with a clap. "Let's leave whatever happened in the past and focus on the future. After all, you guys want to pass, right?"

Team seven gritted their teeth, they were frustrated with Rize, but they had to do what had to be done. They nodded their heads and focused on the bell in Kakashi's hand.

Without saying a word, Rize dashed towards Kakashi. If they were on the same page, then they would definitely understand what was going on.

She was acting as a distraction.

Rize activated her Sharingan and looked around. She saw Naruto performing a jutsu that allowed him to create several clones of himself and saw Sasuke blow fire towards Kakashi.

She grinned after copying the two jutsu with her eye.

Now, it was time for some fun.

Kakashi brought a wall in between the fireball and him so he didn't have to worry about it. What he had to worry about was Rize who was coming at him with a katana. He pulled out his kunai and blocked the attack.

He was confused on why she wasn't backing off and he realized it after sensing a presence behind him.

*POOF*

The space Kakashi had once occupied was now a log that dropped on the ground. Out of instinct, Rize slashed at the clone which had turned into a cloud of smoke.

"Hey! If that was the real me, I would've died." Naruto exclaimed.

Rize ignored him and scanned the area for a chakra nature. She saw it and pointed at the tree.

"Sasuke, you can see it with your eyes right? Use your fireball jutsu and force him to move away." Rize said.

"Shut up, I know without you telling me." Sasuke replied with annoyance.

Once Sasuke had released the fireball at the tree, she saw Kakashi's figure move to the open area, and was now performing the same hand seals Sasuke did.

However, Kakashi's fireball was much stronger than Sasuke's. There was also a major difference in the temperature of it too. Rize grinned.

She ran directly at the fireball and perfectly split the fireball in half which left the four shocked. They didn't believe someone would do such a dangerous thing against a jonin's jutsu. And of all people, Kakashi.

Rize glanced at the edges of her blade, they were dark marks on the steel blade, and the blade's temperature had also increased. She frowned, this meant the blade would be less sharp and powerful.

"I guess I'll have to make do." she muttered under her breath.

Kakashi used another jutsu, an Earth Wall, to separate her from him. However, it didn't work out like he thought it would. Rize simply jumped over the wall and was getting ready to perform a jutsu towards him.

Suddenly, one of Naruto's shadow clones appeared in front of Rize. A vein appeared on her forehead and stabbed the clone with her blade.

"This kid, don't get in my way." she said before the clone turned into a cloud of smoke. This caused Naruto to complain once again.

Rize blew a fireball towards Kakashi who seemed to be staring at her in amusement. But she shook it off, all she needed to do was distract him anyway.

Sasuke watched as Kakashi deflected the fireball with one of his own. He had patiently waited for his chance to sneak up on his teacher and take one of the bells. However, right as Sasuke was behind him, Rize had appeared too.

"What the?-" Sasuke didn't have a chance to voice his confusion when he was kicked away by Kakashi. The same was done to the latter.

"Rize! I was going to get the bell!" Sasuke yelled in anger.

"No, I had it perfectly planned out for the three of you to go in front of him when he was going to be forced to focus on me in the back." Rize replied.

"That's not how it was going to work! We're not on the same page! If you didn't appear, I would've gotten the bell, and that would've been less trouble for all of us." Sasuke said.

"If only you looked at the bigger picture and realized what I was doing, Sasuke. That's why with that puny brain of yours and your weak fireball, what you tried to do didn't work out." Rize countered.

"Alright, enough. We'll put a pause on the test." Kakashi said with the other two appearing behind him.

Kakashi was also writing something on the paper before handing it off to a bird before it flew towards the sky.

"Rize, your test is done. Go to the Hokage's office. As for the rest of you, we'll be doing our own test." Kakashi said.

The three were glad that Rize was gone and followed Kakashi. Rize didn't care though, she was just happy her test was over and was finished dealing with those idiots.

"Guess it's time to head to Minato."
