Preliminary Battle

Hiruzen, Kakashi, and Anko contemplated whether or not they should place the Evil Containment Seal on Sasuke to restrict the Cursed Mark, but they ended up deciding not to.

After all, one should know that the process is extremely painful. Plus, the boy seems to have some degree of control over the cursed mark… if they added the Evil Containment Seal, it's just like putting sugar on a frosted cake.

The preliminary matches began, and all of the teams that passed were basically the same as the canon.

Even Dosu's team had passed. Orochimaru must've really wanted to see my skills, so it's no surprise to see Dosu's team get another set of the HEAVEN and EARTH scroll.

"The first match! Sasuke VS Yoroi!"

'This is some bullshit setup! You're telling me that even with all the butterfly effects due to my existence, I still have to fight this chakra sucker Yoroi?' I cursed inwardly, thinking that this is no mistake. Orochimaru must've somehow set it up in a way that I'd have to fight Yoroi.

I glanced up at the Sound Jonin who's on the second level, standing next to Kin, Dosu, and Zaku. She's currently impersonating their jonin sensei.

"Tsk." I ticked my tongue and returned my attention to Yoroi. Since Orochimaru wanted to see what I'm made of, I'm going to blow her mind off by using chakra even though I have the cursed mark on me.

Anyways, I wasn't afraid that she's going to attack me. As long as she thinks she can still use my Cursed Mark as a respawn anchor, she'd probably not bring me to harm.

"Hm? Interesting." Orochimaru uttered under the disguise of the Sound Jonin.

With her keen sense, she could obviously tell that Sasuke looked at her. She wondered if Sasuke looked at her because he saw through her disguise, or if he's just casually looking.

"Cough! Start!" Hayate threw his hand down.

"Fire style, fire ball jutsu!" My hands swiftly moved, and I blew a ball of fire towards Yoroi.

"Not good!" Yoroi dodged to the side. He can steal chakra, but only if he can make physical contact with his enemy. He couldn't absorb chakra from techniques.

"Sharingan!" I activated my Sharingans and I also made a hand sign while I'm at it.

"Shadow clone jutsu!"

Puff! X2!

I summoned two shadow clones and they both rushed in with me.

"AHHHHHHHHH!!! Sasuke! That's my technique!! When did you steal it!?" Naruto screamed from the balcony.

As Yoroi got himself back into gear, ready to steal some chakra, he froze. Three Sasukes with their Sharingans activated rushed in at him!

'I need to absorb the chakra of at least one of them!' He thought as his Chakra Absorption technique activated.

"Thinking of touching me?" I said scornfully.

Yoroi reached out to touch one of my clones, but how could he? He's slower than me, and I'm also able to see his every move!

He's basically a sitting punch bag!

Left hook Punch!

One of my clones smashed Yoroi's face.

"URGHJ!" Yoroi groaned, feeling the impact of the punch.

Right hook Punch!!

"Arghh!!" Yoroi screamed.

"Uppercut Punch!" I yelled out as I punched from underneath Yoroi's chin.

"Kuasufh!!" Yoroi felt helpless. He frantically tried to reach out with a grabbing motion, but he grabbed nothing but air!

Tears immediately welled up in his eyes. He's simply being bullied with no way to fight back!

"Fight back!"

"Fight back!!"

My shadow clones and I ganged up on the chakra sucker.

Yoroi broke down. Other than punches and uppercuts, he received kicks and elbow swings. HIS WHOLE BODY IS BRUISED and BROKEN!! He couldn't even muster the strength to speak. He had tried to give up before, but his words were always interrupted by a punch or a kick!

"Stop!! Cough! You've won, Sasuke!" Hayate immediately stopped the match. Although killing is permitted, his task is to save the life of the participants if possible.

"Hmph! Trash!" I gave Yoroi another kick on his ribs before walking up the stairs to the second level.

"..." Everyone became silent. The match was just too one-sided.

Orochimaru became extremely excited after seeing the performance. The Uchiha's body is better than she expected! In her view, it seems that the Uchiha body can even bypass some of the drawbacks of the Cursed Mark!

She wanted the Uchiha body even more now! Her original plan was only to test out the skills of the Uchiha kid, but now, she wanted to meet him in private!

And to do that, she had the perfect lure… Orochimaru said as she looked at Kin. She had heard about Kin's experience with Sasuke…
