44 Orochimama Prelude!? >.>

Other than the fact that Naruto crashed the party, everything went well.

Naruto never gave Hinata the slightest of attention, and I was the one who kept Hinata company most of the time. This worked to my favor since it further affirmed my position in Hinata's heart.

On the other hand, Sakura had to keep Naruto from talking so much to Karin. Karin also had a hard time adapting to Naruto's talkative personality.

After we all ate until we're full, Naruto ran off again to find the pervy sage.

The girls planned to go back to the Training grounds to train themselves, and they all huddled up together.

"Sasuke, we're going to take Karin to the training ground with us," Sakura said with Karin on her side.

"Sure, just make sure that Karin doesn't use ninjutsu in front of others." I said as I waved them off.

As the girls left for the training grounds, I decided to go give Kin a visit. She currently doesn't have anything useful that I can copy… but, I did plan on making her a servant.

It also doesn't hurt to have an extra girl around. She might learn some useful techniques in the future too.

That said, I immediately headed off towards the small resort where the sound village ninjas are staying.

Unlike the sand village ninjas who couldn't really use a lot of money to stay in luxurious places, the sound village rented a small resort for the duration of their stay. Their financial situations were just that different, and Orochimaru is probably a baller.

I arrived at the sound village's rented location fairly quickly.

But, I was stopped at the entrance by two Sound Jonins.

"You are not permitted to enter this resort. It is currently being rented by the sound village until after the Chunin exams is over."

One of the Sound Jonins said with a serious face.

The other Jonin also placed his hands into his ninja bag, preparing to strike at any time.

"Do I look like I care? Move aside," I activated my Sharingan as well as my cursed mark, knowing full well that these Sound Ninjas have knowledge of these powers.

"Shh–it!" The two Jonins stepped back in fright.

They were just special Jonins appointed by Orochimaru. Their combat skills were more like that of a Chunin.

They knew for a fact that they probably won't be able to go against someone who has the same cursed mark like the people of the Sound Four from their village.

But since the kid in front of them has the cursed mark, then it means that he's one of Orochimaru's men. Hence, they looked at each other before nodding.

"Since you seem to know our 'master', you may go in." Both of the Jonins stepped aside.

I deactivated my cursed mark and waltzed into the resort like my family owns it.

While I roamed the hallways to look for someone to lead me to Kin, I found it a bit odd that the surroundings are rather quiet.

So, I went up to a door and opened it.

"Huh?" Three sound genins were shocked when they heard the door open. They were a part of the Sound's genin crew who are used to fill up the numbers to make the Sound look legit. In round one of the Chunin exam, they had already forfeited.

Currently, they were supposed to be confined in their rooms until the attack on the Leaf. They didn't expect that someone would suddenly open their door.

"Hey, where is Kin?" I asked the three. However, they just continued to look at me in shock without saying anything.

"Mute or something? Why don't you just roll over and die." I angrily slammed the door. Those three Sound Genins could've said something at the very least.

I decided to just keep opening doors until I find Kin.

But right as I turned towards the hallway, a figure stood there in front of me.

"So you've come already?" I asked the figure.

"Well, you did ring the doorbell pretty loudly when you activated your cursed mark." Orochimaru smiled and licked her lips.

"Was I supposed to smash the door instead?" I shrugged and then asked Orochimaru. "Anyways, where is my fucktoy Kin?"

"???" Orochimaru was rather dumbfounded. It seems that she had underestimated the sex drive that this Uchiha has.

He's even willing to fearlessly come to a snake's den to take away a girl.

She wondered… if she had the wrong impression of Sasuke from the start. So, Orochimaru squinted her eyes and began probing: "Kin is in her room… but let me ask you something before you can get her."

"Sure, go ahead, shoot your question." I waited. Like I said before, I'm no longer afraid of Orochimaru. Since she had given me the cursed mark of heaven, I'm currently protected from death.

I'm like a little seedling that she had invested in. When I grow big and strong, she can harvest my body. But the way that I am now, there's no point in taking over my body. It'll also be a waste to kill me.

And when she does decide to take over my body, it'll be too late. I'm confident that my strength will far surpass Orochimaru by then.

"Are you not an avenger? Do you not wish for power to kill your brother and avenge your clan?" Orochimaru asked.

Hearing Orochimaru's question, I chuckled. "I told you already that power is the least of my concern. However, I do agree that it's not a bad thing to have. As for avenging my clan, I couldn't care less. My real goal is… to rebuild the clan!"

"Hahahaha! I see." Orochimaru decided to throw an irresistible bone at Sasuke since she had now 100% confirmed his most desirable thing – sex and repopulation!

"Then why don't you hear my updated offer?" Orochimaru smirked.

"Let's hear it." I placed my hands in my pocket and waited.
