Alone with Anko

The Preliminary Battles ended with a few different people passing.

In addition to me, the ones that passed were: Naruto, Gara, Lee, Neji, Shikamaru, Hinata, Temari, Shino, and Kin.

It's like this due to the difference in match paring. For instance, Gaara and Lee had different opponents. The same goes for Neji and Hinata.

Kin passed by defeating Tenten with her Bell Genjutsu.

I've almost forgotten that Shino passed in the original because he was so forgettable. However, he did pass by defeating Zaku.

After the preliminary matches were done, we were all given a one-month break before the start of the actual tournament. This 'break' wasn't given to us so that we can relax, however. Instead, it's for us to train.

And you can be damn sure that I'm going to 'TRAIN'.

"Sasuke, don't leave yet." Anko stopped me from leaving.

"Hmm?" I stopped and looked back at Anko.

Naruto and Sakura also wanted to stop, but they were ushered out by Kakashi.

"By the orders of Lord Third, I'm here to take to you a private room to test out your control of the cursed mark." Anko whispered.

"A private room?" A smile appeared on my face and I nodded. I was going to look for an excuse to be alone with Anko, but the excuse presented itself to me.

Anko and I passed by many rooms before we entered a stone room that had many supporting stone beams.

After walking to the middle of the room, Anko spoke: "Now, start by activating your Cursed Mark for two seconds. After that, immediately deactivate it."

"Sure," I followed her instructions and I activated the cursed mark for exactly two seconds before deactivating it.

"Unbelievable…" Anko muttered underneath her breath.

"Activate it again to 50% and tell me what you're experiencing." Anko continued.

I activated the cursed mark to 50% and said: "Other than feeling stronger, there is nothing out of the norm."

"No pain?" Anko frowned.

"Nope!" I shook my head.

"No hallucinations?" She questioned.

"Nope!" I shook my head again.

"What's next?" I asked, wanting the test to end quickly so I can start making a move on Anko.

"I've seen you use Chakra before without your cursed mark being activated, but try to use Chakra in your base form, and I'll check to see if there are any reactions on your cursed mark." Anko moved forward to get a closer look at the cursed mark.

"Mmh" I deactivated the cursed mark, sent chakra to my eyes, and activated my Sharingan.

"There's really no reaction!" Anko exclaimed, once again surprised.

She touched her own cursed mark. Her's had been sealed by the Evil Containment Seal, and that was the only way that she knew of that can confine the cursed mark.

If there's no seal, there's usually a high chance of the cursed mark acting up once chakra is used.

Curiously, she asked: "How did you manage to gain control of the cursed mark?"

Hearing her ask me for help, my dirty mind immediately tried to capitalize on it: "It's willpower! I know of a method that can help you improve one's willpower. Do you want to try it? If you don't want to try it today, it just means that you really do lack the willpower to tame the cursed mark."

"Huh? I can improve my willpower to tame the cursed mark?" Anko thought about it and the whole thing seems feasible.

She then thought about the Evil Containment Seal… the whole sealing technique is based on a person's will power. If a person's will power is strong, they can contain the evil. In contrast, they can't contain evil if their willpower isn't strong, much less taming it.

"Then I'll try this method of yours. How does it work?" Anko stepped back and waited.

'Aww, shit. Here we go,' I rubbed my hands in my mind. I'm going to see if I can go all the way with her today. If not, I'm going to use this interaction as a springboard for my future interactions with Anko.
