20 Unknown Fear

I had no idea about what I was doing, I just thought it would be cool to shadow Neji's movements, but I had zero practice with the soft fist, so I came up with my own way, instead of precision and fine Chakra control to block Tenketsu points, I'll do the next best thing, Asura path to keep up and Storm Flames to disintegrate the Tenketsu points all the way to the cellular level, was it the same? Hell no, was it cool and effective? Hell yes.

Using Storm Flames has its downsides, is extremely violent, and if I lose my concentration I could have injured Neji, the wounds provoked by them are bizarre, the flesh wasn't burnt or rotten, it just turned to dust and scattered in the wind, if I were to use this at a big scale, at least I don't have to worry about disposing the bodies... that was dark, go away evil thoughts.

"What?" I asked Neji who was looking me weird.

"When this is done, we need to talk" He answered.

"Talk? Are you getting soft Neji? I know I saved your ass, but you don't have to fall for me, besides you ain't my type, you lack two things, and have one extra" I teased, he just put a blank expression, "the dick, I'm talking about the dick" I kept mocking.

"I KNOW WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT!" he was furious, he really didn't have a sense of humor.

"Ok, chill man, I was joking, no need to shout, and let the enemies know we just killed two of them" what can I say? I just killed two men, and the only thing keeping me away from an emotional collapse was making dumb jokes, "How is Lee? Do we need to help him?" Changing my mood back to battle mode, I asked.

"He is okay, finishing his fight as we talk, he is wounded but nothing to be worried, Guy-Sensei is finishing as well, no other injuries besides the ones he had when we arrived" he replied, calming down, the situation was handled, we were okay, no one died, at least no one that matters, time to sit, and take a break.

"Then we have time, what do you want to talk about?" I pointed next to me for him to sit.

"What did you do today?" He asked directly, no small chat, not going in circles, he really needs some courtesy lessons.

"You need to be more specific than that" I need to know what he deciphered, what if he can see the Dying Will Flames with his Byakugan? If he can see them, then someone with a Sharingan could do the same, Danzo was the one that worried me the most, he will sell me to Orochimaru to figure out my abilities, or something worse.

"Don't act like you don't know, you killed someone without touching him, I didn't see your Chakra reacting the way it does when you use Genjutsu, yet that man was acting the way someone does under the effects of Genjutsu, next second he is death with, senbon wounds all over his body, but you still have twenty-nine of the thirty you brought" I wanted to retort, but he had the Byakugan no point in arguing about that "and this one, he looks like some parts of his body turned to dust after years of being death, you tried to mimic my movements, awful job by the way, and his Tenketsu not only stopped working, his cells were dying, once again your Chakra was acting normal, so what is the secret?" he was getting annoyed, and I can't blame him, we knew each other for almost a decade now, and this is the first time he sees me doing something like this.

"I will tell you, but you can't go around talking about it, or you'll get me in trouble" he nodded at my request, if I can't trust him, my own teammate after a fight for our lives, then I shouldn't be part of a Team "I can access a different type of energy, similar to Chakra, but is origin and effects are different, the first one I call it Mist Flame, it lets me create Illusions, but I can hurt people on a physical level unlike Genjutsu, I can use it since I was three years old" I said creating a Real Illusion of a senbon, Neji activated his Byakugan to corroborate I wasn't using Chakra, and even pierced himself with it.

"The second one, is the Storm Flame" Neji reacted, remembering the words I said at the end of the combat "is really aggressive, it destroys anything that comes in contact with it, except is origin, is only been a week since I learned how to use it, during Guy-Sensei's test, it also improves my combat prowess" he was shocked by my explanations, other energy besides Chakra that no one knew about if he hadn't seen it in action, he will think I was crazy "my understanding of them is little, I know that everyone has the Flames, I can see them, maybe because I can use them consciously, but everyone has a different one, some have more, but the power of each Flame varies from person to person, using this power has its price, Mist use my mental energy, and Storm uses my resistances, is not endless or omnipotent" I kept saying.

"Same reason you don't show your talents to the main branch of your family" he flinched at that "a part of me was afraid of being used as a tool or even worse what if they experimented on me, trying to replicate the result failing each time, unable to comprehend they already had the power inside, and I just can use it by instinct, that this wasn't a new Kekkei Genkai or something similar" I said somberly, I didn't know I was afraid of that, until a friend ask, and the can of worms is open.

Neji stared at me, he put a hand on my shoulder trying to comfort me, he was bad at this, but at least he tried, he really is a good friend, even if he is obsessed with the idea of fate, he can show empathy from time to time, we stayed there waiting for Lee and the Sensei to catch with us.
