"Now!" Sasuke spotted the perfect time to interject into the battle as Kakashi lectured Naruto about the traps.
He threw shurikens at Kakashi, successfully hitting him in the process. However, this attack made Naruto yell at Sasule for being so cold-blooded. Naruto firmly believed that Sasuke had killed their teacher.
"Shit!" Sasuke panicked as Kakashi turned into a wooden log. This is clearly the substitution at play again! Kakashi had played him into revealing his hiding location with the shuriken! He had to run!

Sasuke ran into the woods, trying to hide again so that he could target Kakashi in surprise. However, he was stopped by Kakashi soon after he ran away.
"So this is where you are, Sasuke." Kakashi appeared behind a tree with his book open. Yes… he was taken off guard a few times, but he still stands by his word! He could take them on even while reading!
"I'm not like those two, Kakashi sensei," Sasuke said as he stopped before Kakashi. He believed that even if he was by himself, he could get one of the bells and pass.
"Why don't you say that after you get the bell, Sasuke?" Kakashi came to Sasuke with a relaxed attitude.
Standing in the field, Sasuke and Kakashi faced each other like how cowboys do in a Mexican standoff.
Sasuke threw Shurikens at Kakashi, and Kakashi thought that it was too straightforward of an attack.
However, Sasuke wasn't aiming at Kakashi! He was aiming at the trap that he had set up! The rope that primed his kunai trap went off, and the kunais that Sasuke had prepared before shot at Kakashi from a tricky angle.
Kakashi stored his book away as he sighed. These new students of his were a grade above the previous students that he failed. Time and time again, they forced him to put away his book!
Sasuke kicked and punched Kakashi, luring Kakashi to grab his legs. He knew that Kakashi wouldn't hurt him, so after Kakashi's arms were busy holding his legs, Sasuke smiled and reached for the bells on Kakashi's waist!
Slightly. Just slightly, Sasuke managed to touch the bells.
However, Kakashi released him and jumped backward.
Kakashi got serious and decided to end the battle quickly and go back to deal with Yasui and Naruto.

Yasui helped Naruto escape from the double trap that Kakashi had prepared for Naruto. That's right. There was another trap under the one that Naruto was caught in.
He then gestured for Naruto to come close, and he whispered his next plan to him. He guaranteed that this plan of his had a high chance of succeeding.
"Are you sure, Yasui? I personally don't think that's a good idea." Naruto listened, and he wanted to believe Yasui, but he is a little doubtful of this master plan.
"Hehe. Just trust me!" Yasui covered his mouth so that his laughter doesn't echo in the forest. He had devised a truly disgusting plan for Kakashi.
"What are the two of you planning now?" Kakashi wondered as he appeared back on the field. He had already dealt with Sasuke, and there were only two left. It seems that the two had come up with a plan.
This time, he did not have his book on hand. He couldn't… because he acknowledged that their strengths are at that point where he needed to focus a bit.
"Just watch, Kakashi sensei!" Yasui smirked as he and Naruto cooly walked toward Kakashi.
Kakashi vigilantly stared at them and looked around, trying to spot any traps.
"Now, Naruto!" Yasui smiled evilly and waved his hands.
"Okay! MULTI SHADOW CLONE JUTSU!!" Naruto summoned his shadow clones.
"This again?" Kakashi asked. Shadow clones are easily taken down, and he could easily beat the clones that Naruto made. Were they even planning correctly?
This time, Naruto made 100 shadow clones instead of seven. All of them appeared around, surrounding Kakashi like how they surrounded Mizuki.
The sheer amount of chakra that Naruto possesses astounded Kakashi. However, Kakashi knew that he could still beat all of these easily.
Naruto's shadow clones went up to Kakashi one after another without stopping. They jumped at him. They kicked him. They punched him. Whichever taijutsu attack you could think of, Naruto's clones tried to do.
At first, Kakashi thought that this plan is to exhaust his stamina. However, he soon found out that the shadow clones had turned into a pile of smoke, covering his vision from all sides!
He immediately finished the last of Naruto's clones and readied himself for an attack, expecting a ninjutsu such as a fireball technique. Sasuke had tried to use this technique on him, and he remembers that Yasui could also use this technique. He had seen him do so four years ago, so it must be stronger now.
