6 An Unexpected Encounter! [6]

It's now been a few months since my little encounter with Danzo.

I'm now one year and three months old!

The schedule I've been going by has helped me a lot with what I'm meant to do next to get stronger.

I'm not a complete training maniac though as I get like four days to myself to just relax or wonder about the clan compound talking to distant cousins.

Crazy right?

Apparently the Shimura Clan was originally made up of merchants that ended up using their brains and made connections with shinobi, they used their brains and ended up raising strong children to the point where they could of competed with the Sarutobi clan and some other small clans before Konoha was created.

Right now though even though the whole clan when Konoha was created were all shinobi, soon after the clan went back to their roots to merchants and business owners which makes sense as being a shinobi isn't the most attractive job in the world.

So they became a Shinobi Clan out of necessity to survive and went back to their roots after establishing power which was an extremely smart play by them.

The first kenjutsu style I've decided to focus on is the Senju Power Drift Style for the simple reason of me wanting to first focus on a defensive style as I'm not going to be on the battle field till I hit the age 10 which is still about 9 years anyways.

I've been called a genius by my teachers who taught me in my math/money management and history classes because of me being able to learn and process most of the information quite quickly.

Because of this Kakashi said with my progress it will only take me half a year to finish history and one and a half years to finish maths. I quickly want to get anything not shinobi orientated out of my schedule because of me wanting to start getting stronger.

With this show of prowess I of course got gifts from Danzo which in all fairness is something I look forward to.

A month ago Danzo gave me a starter sealing kit with the ink and everything. He ended up giving me a swing as well for the reason I assume is that a "kid" like me might not like sealing as it's "boring".

I haven't touched the thing yet but I will ask Kakashi to help me with it soon.

Speaking of Danzo though I'm currently battling him in a shogi match right now.

Moving one of my pieces to defend my king I hear Danzo speak.

"You have been progressive faster than I expected Raiden." Danzo says speaking up

"I want to finish all the non-ninja stuff so I don't need to worry about them later on." I respond making him nod

"A good plan in theory but eventually you might forget about something like you money management as when you become Clan Head as it would have been a few decades since you have learned those skills." Danzo says making my eyes widen

"I'll just do a little revision once in a while every year then." I say making him nod

Danzo quickly traps my King as I fall into his trap after my blunder of a move.

'Damit another loss.'

Before drowning in my misery though my instincts go haywire making me grab my head in pain and fall on the floor losing my crossed leg stance.

'Such a big chakra signature, who is it?' I think to myself while writhing in pain

"Hiruzen stop flexing your chakra, you're hurting the boy."

"Sorry, Sorry, I just wanted to test out how sensitive he is to chakra is and what you said seems to be true. Raiden is quite sensitive to chakra." The now identified Hokage says in an apologetic tone

'No wonder, it's the fucking Hokage!' I screamed mentally after finally recovering from the headache.

Getting back into my crossed legged position I started to introduce myself.

"Hello Hiruzen-sama!" I say with an irritated voice

The clearly amused Hiruzen started to chuckle as he took Danzo's place on the table and started to battle me in shogi as well.

As time went on Hiruzen and I with the watch of Danzo who is eating dango started to converse about certain topics like how I'm going with my subjects in training which I told him was going quite well as I never had to much difficulty with any subject so far.

Maths wasn't as hard as without letters and triangles being involved, while History was honestly just me recapping and gaining new information about the Naruto world.

The day ended up being quite fun.

The sun now setting, Hiruzen and Danzo left my house separately as Hiruzen and Hokage duties and left earlier while Danzo gave me a set of kunais to practise with as a gift for doing extremely well in my classes.

And just like that the months went by until I finally hit the age of two...
