Chapter 74 - Surrounded by twenty one S rank beings part I

" I think someone is talking about me. It's probably Finn. I haven't seen him for few days." Tio was training and Kaguya helping her. Tsunade was taking a break. Rinn and Shizune went to Konoha to do their work and cover up for Tsunade absent.

Few days passed like this, Finn travelled with Nagahide and Echidna through the forest without even resting. WIth their strength, it was easy for Finn, Nagahide and Echidna to walk for days. The only times they stopped was to eat. Finn sometimes used his clones to travel with Echidna and Nagahide especially during night times. Finn did not wanted to leave his girlfriends lonely and alone.

In those few days, Tsunade, Rin and Shizune went to Konoha in the morning and come back after sunset. Now that third great ninja war had stopped, the whole village was recovering under the lead of new Hokage, Minato. The number of injured soldiers decreased day by day, which gave all the medical shinobi some free time. These days Tsunade especially became lazy and often she would just sleep in the mansion, ignoring her work life.

Minato and Hiruzen did ask Sakumo about his student Finn as they had not seen him in the village for weeks. Sakumo simply told them that Finn had left the village for training and would only return during emergency times. Minato and Hiruzen did not question Sakumo any further and also agreed to let Finn train outside the village.

Everything was going well, at least for Finn and the people close to him. Finn did not came to the village because he was simply too busy. Finn now was fully focused on finding the faction responsible for Tio's death. Finn unconsciously began to think about the people in Atlanta Continent was real threat.

What Finn ignored or forgot was about the threats in elemental nations. Finn's ignorance gave Akatsuki the chance to execute their plan. After knowing Kaguya, Finn stopped thinking about threats like Akatsuki.

"Tonight, be prepared. We are going to tonight. Each of you, remember our target is the nine tails. So don't make any extra noise during the mission. If any villagers sees any of you, then immediately kill them without making any noise." The leader of Akatsuki, Yuhiko gave orders to all the current Akatsuki members.

"I will use other pain to distract the hokage and Hiruzen away from the village."

"Echidna how many more days would it take for us to reach our destination?" Currently the whole team was in the core area of Greenwood forest.

"WIth our current speed 7 more days should be enough." Finn nodded. Finn knew that the amount of total distance they would cover had increased when Echidna decided to change their path.

Finn had noticed that Echidna and Nagahide looked more and more restless as they went deeper area of Greenwood forest. At first Finn thought both girls were worrying about the enemies who are currently chasing after them but after day of observation Finn noticed this.

"Nagahide, can you please about the different regions in Greenwood forest?" Echidna was walking in front 2 meters in front.

Nagahide looked at Finn and sighed. 'No wonder he looked so carefree when we entered the core area of this forest.'

"The Greenwood Forest covers about 21 percent land of the whole continent. You can imagine just how big is this Forest. The Greenwood is located in the center part of this continent. No, rather the core area of this forest is the center part. Because of this the Greenwood forest is divided into 3 regions."

"The outer region, the inner region and the core region. Out of 3 regions, the core region is the most dangerous part of the whole forest. Even the weakest monsters that live in the core region has the power of S rank not to mention high ranking monsters. Even the strongest beings in the continent do not dare into the core region."

"Fortunately, master has heightened senses so she could sense everything within 5km." Finn felt strange. Because when Finn saved Echidna's students before she did not sensed Finn coming.

'Maybe Echidna can't sense beings who has control over their killing intent. That's the only logical possibility I can think of. Fortunately monsters does not hides their aura so she should able to sense everything.'

'I am finally going to get some sweet chance to increase my shadows number.' While Nagahide and Echidna wanted to avoid fighting with S rank monsters, Finn wanted to kill S rank monsters and turn them into his shadows.

Echidna suddenly stopped walking and took out her daggers.

"Prepare yourself."

Nagahide took also prepared to fight with her sword that she carried with her. Finn activated his tenseigan and saw that Black tiger was walking towards them. The drol was falling from the corner of its mouth.

"Looks like poor thing haven't eaten anything for days."

"Idiot, focus or we will become it's lunch." Echidna did not move her eyes from her opponent.

"I don't mind." Echidna and Nagahide looked at Finn like they are looking at some kind mad Idiot.

"I meant, I don't mind eating this tiger. I never ate tiger's meat before. It does look tasty."

"...." Nagahide and Echidna

"Nagahide ignore this idiot and help me." Echidna roller her eyes and focused on the black tiger in front of her.

The black tiger opened its mouth and threw a giant fireball towards the group. Before Nagahide could chant water magic ,

Under surprised gaze of Echidna and Nagahide, the giant water ball hit Giant fireball and headed towards the black tiger.
