57 Chapter 59 - Inheritor Summoner Relic
Nest day, early in the morning Finn teleported to the inn. Yesterday his clone disappeared after leaving a teleportation mark on his bedroom.
Finn ate breakfast alone as he couldn't find Echidna anywhere.
"She did tell that she was going to stay in one of her friends house, I don't know how long I have to wait." Finn was currently drinking juice made from manga after eating his breakfast.
"Hey!" Finn turned around to see Echidna who looked like she was happy.
"Ready to go?" Finn asked.
She nodded. "We are going to travel on ship. I already have booked two rooms for us." Finn nodded and followed Echidna.
"I meant to ask just how old are you?" Finn asked.
"Above 100 years at least. After my age went above 100 I stopped counting." Finn looked at Echidna.
'She looks like she is only 25, I guess races like Elves and dragons has longer lifespan then humans.'
Finn and Echidna was on their way to the Nile river harbor. The houses of the villages are made with stones, woods, mud and etc. The inns were made up with stones and higher quality materials whereas normal citizen house were mostly made up of wood and mud. In short Finn felt like he had traveled back to medieval age.
While walking Finn saw some bodybuilders, rather they looked like martial artist, wearing black clothes with some rectangular symbol on their back.
"They are martial arts user." Echidna replied when she saw Finn curiously looking.
"Does that mean mage exist as well?" Finn asked while looking at a young boy who was holding a wand in his hand.
Echidna nodded but she looked at Finn strangely. "How do you not know about such common knowledge?"
"I trained my whole life in a secret location. No one has ever bothered tell me about anything things like mage or martial arts." Finn sighed in relief.
'i was careless, she almost found my identity.'
"They are mage. In this world humans are born with magic and no magic affinities. Human who have magic affinites can use magic using wand and the humans born with no magic affinity peruse the path of martial arts. But the path of Martial arts is extremely hard that's why big schools only take 100 or 200 recruits in their martial division from 10,000 people, every year." Finn nodded and was very surprised.
Finn and Echidna was walking on a straight path but the suddenly the sky darkened, the ground began to shake, extremely thick killing intent spread. The killing intent was so thick that it was making all the normal peoples hard to breathe. Finn saw that even Echidna was sweating and trembling.
"Ahhhhh!"
"What's happening?"
"Why did the sky became black all of sudden?"
Finn can hear people screaming, some were already unconscious from being pressured by such thick killing intent.
Finn was totally unfazed even after being pressured by such thick killing intent. Finn could guess that this killing intent was formed after killing countless beings. Finn was only able to remain calm under this enormous thick killing intent because he himself had killed more than 15,000 beings in the 3rd great ninja war.
"It's coming from this way."
Finn can sense the source of this killing intent. Finn looked at the west direction.
"Come" Finn heard a voice in his mind.
For some reason Finn's instinct was screaming Finn from even looking in that direction but something, rather a voice was telling him to go in that direction.
After few minutes, the sky again brightened and the thick killing intent slowly dissipated. Finn saw that Echidna looked very frightened and her forehead was covered in sweat. It was not just Echidna, many guards, peoples. warriors, mage everyone looked very frightened.
"You alright?" Finn put his left hand on her shoulder and asked Echidna. Echidna nodded with a tried expression.
"What happened?" Finn knew that Echidna was very knowledgeable from her more than 100 years of experience.
"Ancient Relic has appeared."
"What?" Finn was confused.
"How could ancient relic could release such massive killing intent?" Echidna took a deep breathe and explained.
"There is a elven myth passed down the generation, Long Long time ago a massive war broke which resulted in the death of countless beings. War ended many great clan, races. The flames of destruction had reached and wiped out many civilizations."
"Then how did the war ended? or Who ended the war?" Finn has the admit, he was getting more and more curious about this world.
Echidna looked at the sky and answered. "No one knows. Many elven elders traveled the whole continent just to find this answer but they never found the right answer."
"How is this ancient relic related with the war?"
"A relic is what we call or this modern day races call ancient treasure. Relics belongs from the powerful and mighty warrior who died in the great war. Relics can be anything, they can be powerful weapons, powerful techniques or spells, legendary or mythical animals, in short words anything."
"However they are some relics which are made by extremely strong powerful warrior in order to select the inheritor for their weapon or technique. These types of relics are called inheritor summoner. In last 500 years, only 10 inheritor summors was born and this one is the 10th Inheritor summoner."
After hearing Echidna words, Finn's heart was itching to go there.
"Echidna, I am going." Finn's Azure wings appeared on his back and was ready to fly at any moment.
Seeing Finn's excited look, Echidna knew she can't stop Finn from going.
"Ok, be careful. You are not the only one who is going after the inheritor summoner. Many big forces of this continent would go there. If they can't get the Inheritor they would rather destroy the person who has inherited that power." Finn nodded and flew in the direction of west.
"I will wait for your return in this village." Echidna shouted.
[master I can't wait for you to reach the relic site. I want to collect some date.]
"So you are excited as I am. Nice, I also want to fight some of the big forces in this continent and see how powerful I am.
"Honestly I thought the Naruto world was getting boring After I became the strongest there but now it looks like this world still has some many surprises."
