Chapter 8 Scared

Boom!!!

Just a couple of steps away from Gojo, Sasuke suddenly stopped as he found his body trembling.

The world in front of Sasuke turned red, and he saw numerous terrifying monsters running away in fright.

Haha!!!!

A fuzzy figure was harvesting lives while laughing crazily as the murderous aura around him was too strong.

Thud...

Hu...Hu...

"I can't move... what's with that terrifying blood lust!!!"

Sasuke fell on his knees, gasping for breath as sweat rolled down from his forehead and his red eyes had a look of horror in them.

"What… is with this guy?"

Sasuke looked at Gojo as he couldn't understand this guy around his age had such a terrifying aura.

"Hey, ~ want to get stronger?"

Sasuke, who was scared by the aura of Gojo, saw him appearing beside him with his hand on his chin, looking at him with a smile.

"You… can…make me stronger"

Sasuke looked at Gojo with disbelief and expectations in his eyes as he hoped that this guy was telling the truth.

"But~ you have to offer something in return"

Gojo smirked wickedly as he looked at him, eager to know his response.

"I knew it! this guy must be planning something"

Hearing his words, Sasuke knew immediately that he was still too Naïve and this annoying guy did have a purpose.

"I heard that the Uchiha Clan is very rich, so, cough, you know how hard it is to meet ends these days"

Gojo coughed as he tried to explain in a way that Sasuke could understand.

No way, things are tough for him; he is just an orphan in this world; even if he is arrogant and carefree, Gojo isn't so shameless that he would steal money.

"He will help those in need and earn money the right way"

"Sigh~ I really have a noble heart"

Gojo shook his head as he praised himself for being too kind.

"Really, nothing else?"

Sasuke looked at Gojo suspiciously as he couldn't believe that this guy just wanted money.

"Of course~, I swear on my noble character"

Gojo assured Sasuke, whose eyelids twitched, but he didn't have any choice but to believe him.

"Yosh~ Let's start your training"

Gojo looked at Sasuke with a wide grin on his face, and Sasuke knew immediately that he might have signed a deal with the devil.

"Sasuke, before starting your training, there's something you need to overcome; only after that I will tell you the way to become stronger."

Gojo said to Sasuke, who listened attentively in front of him.

After agreeing on the deal, Gojo finally knew about his name and introduced himself also.

Actually, he wasn't teaching him for money, he was interested in that fuzzy blue shadow beside Sasuke, and this guy, in some way, was a lot like Geto.

For the path that he thought was right, Geto didn't hesitate to kill others, and he could see that Sasuke also had such a resolve in his eyes.

For revenge, Gojo can see that Sasuke can go to any length, so he wants to change him; revenge is not the most important, even if he does succeed, all that will be left afterward is emptiness.

"What is it?"

Sasuke asked as he would overcome no matter what in his way for revenge.

"The fear of death… you are afraid that you would die before achieving your goal, but only when you can face death calmly, only then you can genuinely become strong"

Earlier, Sasuke lunged at him with all of his might; at that time, his emotions were at his peak, but he still couldn't stand against his aura; it proved how scared he was to die before completing his revenge.

"He's right; I was scared that time"

Hearing his words, Sasuke thought carefully and agreed with Gojo's statement about him.

When he felt that strong blood lust of Gojo, the first thought that came into his mind was that he couldn't die yet, not before killing that man.

"For the next whole month, I will be making you mentally strong; meet me here every day, around this time"

"And~, don't come empty-handed"

Gojo stood up, and after telling him the schedule, he strode towards his home but didn't forget to remind him about the money with a wide grin on his face.

"This money grabber!!!"

Sasuke didn't know what to say any more about this annoying and somewhat mysterious guy.

But his expectations for the upcoming days of training were full of hope.

In a good mood, Sasuke left the forest and went back home.

"First Naruto and now Sasuke, what's their connection?"

Back home, Gojo sat on the bed, and while eating the dumplings, he thought about both of them.

Both of them were so different, one was a shining sun that wanted to spread hope and happiness, and the other was on the border of light and darkness.

They were so different, yet they had something in common.

"But this way is better~ at least I won't get bored"

Gojo smiled as he liked to explore mysteries, and with guys like Naruto and Sasuke around, things won't be boring for him.
