5 Chapter 5 Encounter

Konoha.

Hokage Mountains.

"Haha...I'm going to mess the face of the stupid old man today"

A blond kid wearing a white shirt with a red magatama printed on it and black shorts stood on the stone nose of Third Hokage.

He was holding a paintbrush as he laughed loudly while messing the stone face.

"Hmm~, Kid, you can never be an artist"

Naruto, who was enjoying messing the face of Sarutobi, suddenly heard a voice from behind as he nearly fell down from fright.

"Hey!! Don't suddenly scare me like that, four eyes"

Naruto, after stabilizing, yelled loudly at the Kid with white hair and black glasses, who squatted beside him, looking at him with his hand on his chin.

"What's with this strong aura and... also... what's that?"

Gojo, who was enjoying the scenery after winning the competition, was interrupted by the loud laughter of Naruto.

After seeing the Kid messing the face of Hokage, Gojo was surprised by his courage, but his attention was suddenly shifted to something else.

The blue eyes of Gojo shone even more brightly behind the glasses as he looked at the Kid carefully.

He could sense a strong chakra hidden in this Kid, and it seemed to have a will of its own.

Not only that, he could see a fuzzy blue shadow attached to this Kid.

"Hey!!, what happened to you?"

Seeing Gojo looking at him constantly, Naruto felt uncomfortable as he yelled, causing Gojo to snap out of his thoughts.

"What's your name, Kid?"

Gojo suddenly became interested in this Kid, who was different from others.

"My name is Naruto Uzumaki, and who are you calling a Kid!!!? You look around the same age as me!!!"

Naruto happily introduced himself, but he suddenly yelled again because he remembered that this guy nearly the same age as his maybe a year older called him a Kid.

"Hmm~ Uzumaki Naruto"

Gojo looked through his memory again and got the information he wanted about this Kid.

His former self has seen this Kid getting taunted and beaten by the villagers, and he was famous as the "Demon Fox."

They say he killed the Fourth Hokage 8 years ago, and it was because of him, the Village lost so many lives.

Speaking of Demon Fox, Gojo remembered the incident he just read yesterday in the history book.

8 years ago, the Nine-Tailed Fox attacked the Village, and it was the Fourth Hokage who defeated it and saved the Village.

"So, Naruto, why are you messing the stone face? Do you hate the Hokage?"

Gojo asked curiously as to him it was normal for this Kid to hate the Hokage and the villagers who shunned him.

"Why would I hate the Hokage? I want to surpass the previous Hokage and become the greatest Hokage ever"

"Haha!!!, someone is finally willing to talk to me."

Thought Naruto as he was happy because someone was finally willing to talk to him besides Iruka Sensei and that old man.

"Why do you want to be the Hokage?"

Gojo was surprised twice today, as both people he met today were different and interesting.

"Because I want to be recognized by the whole village and make them respect me one day."

"That's my Ninja Way"

Naruto said excitedly while waving his fist showing his resolve.

"What a pure child..."

Thought Gojo as he smiled and stood up looking at Naruto.

It was genuinely shocking that someone shunned and hated from his birth still didn't develop any hatred.

"Well, Naruto, then I'm looking forward to the day you become a Hokage"

Gojo said to Naruto with a grin on his face.

"Just you wait, I never go back on my words!!"

"He believes in me!!!"

Naruto thought inwardly as he smiled even more brightly as the resolve to be a Hokage became even more formidable.

Gurgh...

Naruto, who was happy, suddenly became embarrassed as his stomach growled.

"Ah, man, this is embarrassing"

Naruto rubbed the back of his head, a bit embarrassed

"Haha... it seems you are hungry. I was about to have breakfast too; do you want to join?"

Gojo laughed seeing the embarrassed Naruto and invited him to eat since Naruto reminded him of Yuji.

Just like him, he was targeted by the whole world, but he didn't hate the world that tried to kill him and, on the contrary, always protected it.

"Really, can we eat Ichiraku Ramen? It's super delicious"

Naruto immediately suggested the place to eat as he really liked Ramen.

Though Gojo liked sweets more, a change in once in a while wasn't bad, so he decided to try it.

"Who did this?!!!"

Gojo and Naruto left, and after a minute, Iruka appeared and was furious after seeing the painted Hokage faces.

He looked around for the culprit and found Lee practicing on the top of the mountain, and his eyes gleamed.

"It wasn't me... I swear on my youth!!!"

With tears running down, Lee looked at Iruka with an innocent look on his face as he tried to explain himself.

He was enjoying the springtime of his youth but was suddenly caught.

"I thought you were a good student, now clean this mess."

With anger on his face, Iruka lectured the framed Lee for a while and left after announcing his punishment.

Lee tried to justify himself, but it had no use, and he was handed a towel and a basket full of water to clean the mess.

Naruto put down the bowl; after finishing it, he thanked his new friend and left immediately since he was already late for school.

"Nine Tails... Demon Fox... 8 years... so it seems he's like Yuji after all"

Gojo just learned from Naruto while eating that he was 8 years old, and with his intellect, he already had a guess in his mind.

8 years since the incident and Naruto was also 8 years old, he was called Demon Fox, and that aura inside his body.

That enormous chakra in his body must be the Nine Tail Fox; maybe it was sealed inside him just like Sukuna was inside Yuji.

But the other blue shadow, he still didn't know what it was.

"It's getting more and more interesting."

Gojo smiled as he finished the bowl of the Ramen and went home preparing for his second day at Academy.
