The mother and son duo were confused as to what had happened. The pirate just stared at me and left.

Thr kid was about to talk, but I placed my palm on his mouth and stopped him. I was using another Mind Touch Style: Mind Link.

This was a mind technique where my mind is linked with my target and I can link my consciousness with them. It was the updated version of the body switch technique.

I can control other people from far away and can know what's happening. It would be like playing a FPP mode game.

The only downside for every OP jutsu is the amount of chakra needed. Since my baby body can't produce much, I can only use it once a day before fainting.

I made the pirate return to his crew with the money he looted from everyone. As he was walking outside, I saw the destruction caused outside and knew this definitely wasn't the work of a pirate.

They weren't strong enough to cause this much damage. Since I was inside the room the whole time, I only saw the start of the battle with my Byakugan. I didn't know what happened after the pirates managed to get on the ship.

I went to the boss man, the captain, and handed him the stack of money and gold. He opened it and said "It was a good idea to co-operate with those ninjas. Look at the haul we managed to get."

The captain was surrounded by his crew members and one of them shouted "Captain, should we really give those ninjas 70% of what we got? Isn't that a little too much for them. We also worked hard and there are a lot of casualties on our side than theirs."

Their Captain smiled and said "Of course not you fool. Do you really think I would let go of this much cash? We are pirates, we loot people and will do the same with the ninjas too."

Everyone in the crew had a cunning smile, thinking of backstabbing the ninjas. I was quiet, looking at their foolishness. Then another crew member spoke "Captain, aren't they strong? How are we going to kill them?"

I could tell that he was the only one who uses his brain in the crew. The captain smiled and said "Don't worry about that, I mixed poison in their food. They should be feasting now. Anytime we can hear the good news."

This time I was genuinely amazed at the level of stupidity the crew and their captain showed. They were seriously trying to poison a ninja who is supposed to be an expert in assassination. Ninjas were taught the basics as to how to detect poison, at least that's what I was taught in Root.

Everyone got onto the pirate ship to check on the ninjas. I sighed and followed them. Their captain was the most excited one and opened the door to see the dead bodies of the ninja. I could tell that he was also planning on getting the bounty on their head.

The door opened and a kunai came flying through the door and stabbed the captain's throat. He shivered on the floor for a while and died. The others who saw this were terrified.

Then a ninja came out from the door, with a cloak. I couldn't see his face, but the headband on his forehead was clear. It had the symbol of kirigakure, which wasn't clear due to the numerous scratches on it. I guess he did it out of frustration.

Four more ninjas came out of the ship and surrounded them. The guy in the cloak said "Do you think it's that easy to kill is with a simple poison. This kind of foolish plan is really an insult for me. Now, who. among you is the navigator?"

A crew member raised his hand and immediately the ninjas started killing everyone else except him. I didn't even try to fight them in that body and immediately ended the technique. Another drawback is that I would feel the same pain he would feel. So, I didn't wait till he got killed.

I was almost out of chakra. I used the little chakra left to use my Byakugan to see if they left. After I was sure, I said to the kid's mother "Don't wake me up. I need rest. I will explain everything later." and fainted.

I woke up and looked around. I found both the kid and his mother sitting on a bed beside me as I was laid down on a bed.

It was daytime and both were awake. When I opened my eyes and got up, the kids mother said "Thanks for saving us yesterday."

I asked her "How long did I sleep?" and she replied "Around 15 hours. We don't have a way to track time."

I still didn't know their names, so I said "I haven't introduced myself, I am Hakuto. What about you?"

The mother replied "I am Aki and this is my son Hiroshi. Now, I know I shouldn't be asking too much about it even though you saved our lives, but what did you do yesterday?"

I looked at her and could tell that she was worried about my identity. I said "I used genjutsu."

Before, she thought that I was with the pirates, but now she was shocked that I was a ninja. She asked "So, you are a ninja. What are you doing here then?"

This time, it was out of curiosity. I knew I couldn't hide it anymore and I needed her help too. So, build up trust, I needed to tell her the truth.

I said "I am a war orphan. My father was a ninja from Kumogakure. He went to Konoha on a mission during the war and fell in love with my mom.

He decided to quit being a ninja and stay with my mom. Recently, they were assassinated by the ninja of Konoha, thinking they were spies from Kumogakure. So, I decided to become a Kumogakure ninja to get revenge.

I can't directly go to Kumogakure and join the academy as my father was labelled as someone who betrayed his land. So, that's why I am trying to enter the Land of lightning and figure out a way to enter the academy."

I had a change of mind and decided not to tell her the truth. I wasn't going to say that I wanted to infiltrate the Village hidden in Clouds, the military force of her homeland.

She would definitely snitch on me, because depending on what intel I gather, it could effect the whole country. No sane person would let their home be destroyed just to return a favor, even if the person saved their life.
