4 Chapter 4- Team Placements

A week had passed since the announcement of the training trip and the camping day was only a few days away. Sasuke prepared himself for the training trip or whatever it was. Instead of wasting time accomplishing nothing, Sasuke began to physically train himself in the holy method of 100 push-ups, situps, squats and a 10km run every morning. He of course didn't forget the most important factor. No air conditioning or heating.

One thing he found out was that he was getting stronger at a much accelerated pace compared to his previous body in his past life. As he exercised more and more, his body got more used to it much to his utter amazement. He theorised that he should be physically stronger than everyone on earth in just two weeks which was just an exhilarating feeling for him.

He already had made up his mind that he was going to abuse the shit out of the new body. In his previous life, he could be considered a gym freak. He continuously went to the gym, hoping to get the best body he could possibly achieve. He didn't find large muscles like bodybuilders appealing and instead preferred a leaner physique. There were two reasons he went to the gym. Firstly, he wanted to look good and stay healthy while the other was to attract women but unfortunately for him, he died before his secret gym strategy worked.

After waking up early in the morning before the sun rose, he immediately started training his body to the limits everyday, his desire for power slowly starting to consume him. He found the thought of getting stronger a bit thrilling. He finished his training for the day before showering and getting ready for the academy.

'I wonder how that will turn out?' Sasuke thought. He got out of the shower with a towel hanging out of his neck. As he walked towards the exit, he stopped beside the mirror. He got a towel, cleaning the foggy mirror as he activated his Sharingan. He still had the same amount of tomoes, leading him to make up his mind. He had to start training his Sharingan as soon as possible.

After exiting the bathroom, he dressed himself before quickly grabbing a bite to eat while he headed for the academy. As he jumped from root to roof, he couldn't help but wonder what the trip would be like. He considered himself to be the outdoor type and couldn't help but be quite excited to camp out for two days. 

'I'm guessing that we'll learn to make fire, gather drinkable water and be able to make a suitable camping site. There's no need to concern myself with making a fire when I can just use fire chakra.' He thought with amusement at how easy the camping trip was going to be. 

After casually jumping from roof to roof, he arrived at the academy in a joyful mood. He entered his class, once again catching the attention of everyone who was present. As usual, he sat down in his assigned seat before waiting for his sensei to start teaching. Minutes passed as more and more students started arriving until everyone was present.

"Now that everyone is here. We can begin today's class. Like I said a few days ago, today we'll be assigning the groups that you guys will be in for the test. There's going to be no point in complaining as these are finalised." Iruka said sternly. Everyone's attention clinged on to him as he began announcing the 14 groups.

"Group 1 will consist of Hisamoto Masami, Kota Yabu and Ryo Nishikido…" Iruka announced, beginning to list each member of the fourteen teams.

"Team 7 will consist of Shino Aburame, Sasuke Uchiha and Ino Yamanaka." As soon as he announced the last name, a loud squeal and a loud complaint immediately resonated from the back of the class.

"Iruka-sensei, that's not fair. Why is she on that team?" Sakura immediately began to complain, much to half the class's annoyance while the others couldn't care any less and just wanted to get on with their day. 

"The groups were assigned randomly Sakura. Like I said, these are final and there's nothing you can do about it." Iruka said with the maximum amount of authority he could muster. He went on with announcing the rest of the teams, preparing himself for another wave of complaints from two particular students.

"Team 8 will consist of Sakura Haruno, Kiba Inuzuka and Naruto Uzumaki." Just as he expected, a wave of complaints came rushing for him as he announced the last two names. Much to his annoyance, he had to repeat his words once again. The rest of the announcements went without a hitch, causing Iruka to sigh in relief after managing to make it out alive.

"Let's begin our lesson, shall we?"

Just like a speeding bullet, the day passed by really quickly. As soon as Sasuke left the academy, he once again began training his body and also his mind. He wanted to train his chakra, wanting to learn how to efficiently mould it and also control it. However he had a minimum amount of information regarding the topic.

He tried visiting the Konoha library but found out that there was not a single scroll or book about any ninja related information that he could access. After careful consideration, he figured that he was either that they didn't have any information or that he wasn't allowed to access it due to his low rank.

'Maybe the Uchiha clan had a library of some sorts.' Sasuke thought optimistically. 'Though it's probably already robbed.' He laughed, thinking of the whole scenario. He already knew that the Uchiha territory should have belonged to him since his entire clan was massacred. While it would have belonged to Itachi, his "dear" older brother, the man had forfeited his rights after defecting from Konoha and becoming an international criminal.

However, he didn't own the property yet. Since he was too young, the Uchiha property went straight into the hands of Konoha. He would inherit once he comes of age but everything would probably already be robbed by Konoha. If he was being honest, he really couldn't care any less about the lands that he should be entitled to. What he truly cared about was the knowledge that the clan probably had copied all these years. 

He had a doubt that they definitely stored them in scrolls and most likely hid them away. After careful consideration, he had made up his mind on what he had to do. Once his test was over he had planned to go to the Uchiha clan compound in order to find any clues to see whether he had any jutsu scrolls to look forward to.

'I guess I should also think of a good excuse just in case.' After planning his trip to the compound, he began to train so he could increase his chakra reserves. Chakra consisted of Physical energy which is collected from the body's cells and Spiritual energy which was derived from the mind and both of the energy could be increased through training. 

He had already started to train his body in order to increase his physical energy and also started studying the books in the library to also increase his spiritual energy. After learning more about Physical and Spiritual energy, he found out that he had more physical energy than spiritual energy close to a ratio of 3:2. After acquiring the new information, he decided to make it balanced.

'I seemed to have a natural affinity towards fire which is kinda cool. I guess I'm a fire bender.' He joked as he wondered about the whole ratio method. Sasuke couldn't help but be amazed at the method of moulding chakra in order to perform elemental ninjutsu. Due to his curiosity, he found out about the different ratio that a ninja had to mould his physical and spiritual energy in order to perform elemental ninjutsu from a scroll in the academy library.

There were five possible different ratios of Physical and Spiritual energy that he was aware of. It was really hard to manipulate the ratio of physical and spiritual energy which is the reason a lot of ninja only have one or two elemental affinities. It was almost impossible for someone to have contrasting elements since they required opposite ratios which was hard to pull off. Having an affinity meant that the ninja could naturally manipulate the two energies close to the required ratio for the particular element. Having more spiritual energy than physical energy doesn't have much impact on the element that a person has an affinity towards though sometimes it does.

It was much easier for a ninja to learn another element that had a closer ratio to their affinity and was much harder for a ninja to use the opposite element. It was extremely rare for someone to naturally manipulate more than 3 elements. The 5 main elements included Earth, Fire, Lightning, Water and Wind. The ratio of Physical:Spiritual energy to manipulate the elements were:

- Ratio or 4:1 which created Earth chakra. Due to the disproportionate amount of physical energy, Earth chakra is created since the element is the most physical one.

- Ratio of 3:2 which created Fire chakra. Fire is the second closest to the most physical element. 

- Ratio of 2.5:2.5 which created Lightning chakra. It is the perfectly balanced element, regarding the spiritual and physical energy. Having natural Lightning affinity meant that the ninja could learn more elements due to its position.

- Ratio of 2:3 which created Water chakra. It is the second most spiritual element and also is naturally opposed to the Fire element.

- Ratio or 1:4 which created Wind chakra. Wind is the most spiritual energy and needs more spiritual energy than physical energy. It also opposes the Earth element the most.

After learning about the ratios of spiritual and physical energy, Sasuke immediately knew that he had potential to learn either the Earth element or Lightning Element. Since he had no information on different elemental jutsus, he instead decided to increase his chakra reserves by using a special method that he devised.

'Let's get this shit started.'

(AN: The ratio idea was semi inspired by Naruto Profile Wiki. From their website, it stated that different ratios of two energies, new types of chakra can be formed. I decided to build up on that which created the 5 different ratio. I'll try to build up on this later on if I can. If I'm being honest, I'm kinda proud of this. 

I decided to make it ratio add up to five is because of the five main elements which is kinda obvious. Thanks for the Idea Naruto Profile Wiki. If anyone wants to use this then go ahead.
