While Sasuke was waiting for right time inside root hideout, his shadow clone started the fight with Gaara. Instead of fighting Gaara he was only focusing on dodging while provoking Gaara as much as possible. He said things like Shukaku was a disgrace on the name of tailed beast, even summoned beast are more powerful than him. Gaara can feel the beast inside him was getting more out of control. The situation inside the arena was confusing for many people. Naruto, Rock Lee, Kakashi and Guy cannot understand what Sasuke was trying to do. They can tell that Sasuke was not even trying to fight Gaara, only thing that they can make of the situation was that Sasuke was trying to make Gaara release the tailed beast and he was saving his chakra to fight the monster. But that was insane thing to do, smart thing would be to neutralize Gaara as soon as possible and use the seal to suppress tailed beast as Sasuke mentioned earlier.

While Sasuke was running around the arena and Gaara was chasing him, an explosion was heard. The Sand and Sound village finally made their move. Kabuto casted the genjutsu, Kazekage attacked the Hokage and huge summoned snakes were attacking the village. Sand and sound ninja also started attacking and very soon village was in chaos. Orochimaru revealed that it was him not the Kazekage. Most of the people present in arena fall asleep. Among the genin Naruto, Sakura, Rock Lee, Neji were not affected by genjutsu while Shikamaru was pretending to be asleep. Sakura was good at genjutsu and training with Kakashi for the month was very helpful. Naruto and Rock Lee were sparring partners of Sasuke so resisting such weak genjutsu was not a problem for them.

Orochimaru summoned four coffins and use impure world reincarnation technique to bring back first, second, fourth Hokage and third Kazekage. He used the seal to suppress their personality and make them his puppet. He sent third Kazekage and fourth Hokage after Sasuke while the two Hokage stayed with him to fight third Hokakge. Third Kazekage used his magnetic iron sand to restrained Sasuke and to everyone's surprise, Sasuke didn't even resist.

SASUKE: "Not bad Orochimaru, but if you want to capture me, you have to find me first. I will give you a hint, I am going after the most evil dude in leaf village. He used to supply orphan children to a crazy pedophile for experimenting."

After saying that Sasuke's shadow clone vanished. 'It was a shadow clone', everyone thought as they saw the shadow clone vanishing. Orochimaru understood that by 'crazy pedophile' Sasuke means him, then the 'evil dude' is Danzo. No one else was able to understand the hint Sasuke gave except for Orochimaru. When Sasuke was restrained by iron sand, everyone was panicking, they were thinking of dealing with enemy ninja fast and help Sasuke get free. Orochimaru sent third Kazekage and fourth Hokage to capture Sasuke, although Sasuke was strong but in their opinion it was overkill.

OROCHIMARU: "Kabuto, it seems like you have to lead Kazekage and Hokage to your former boss's hideout."

Gaara was losing control, lots of sand and sound ninja were attacking the arena. Naruto and Rock Lee where able to get upper hand against their opponent, meanwhile Sakura was fighting as support for them. Situation was very chaotic, Kabuto left with Kazekage and Hokage otherwise situation would be very troublesome for leaf ninja. Sound four were able to erect a barrier with three Hokage and Orochimaru inside.

Meanwhile when Sasuke's shadow clone disappear, original Sasuke decided to attack the root hideout. He made his way towords the chamber where Danzo was staying. He used genjutsu with mangekyou sharingan at the ninja he encounter on his way and silently neutralize them. No one suspected him to be the enemy so they let their guard down. Once Sasuke reach the door he activated all the paper bombs. He use shadow clone technique to cast one shadow clone. Situation inside root base turn chaotic very quickly, many of the root ninja were seriously injured while a lot of them died when the paper bomb exploded. Sasuke transformed into root ninja down to chakra signature, covered himself in blood with many kunai penetrating his legs, hand and body. He did injure himself but non of the injuries where at vital spot, fresh blood where coming out of all injuries. He made it look like he was about to die. He then barged into the chamber. Danzo was surprised, he thought Orochimaru was also attacking him, but couldn't understand the reason behind it.

{Disguised SASUKE}: "D..Da….Danzo Sama, e..en…enemy atta…"

Sasuke fall down as if he was dead and behind him his shadow clone appeared wearing mask, pretending to be the person who attacked him. There were three people in the room, Danzo and two of his men, Torune Aburame and Fuu Yamanaka. Situation was very chaotic, entire base was shaken due to paper bombs. The ninja Sasuke transform into was one of high ranking root ninja and he use seals to make his chakra appears like that root ninja and the injuries with fresh blood coming out didn't leave any doubt that he was one of their own. Two root ninja come in front while Danzo preparing to undo the seals on his hand and right eye.

As the two ninja were preparing to fight the enemy in front, suddenly a sword pierced through heart of Torune and many shurikens pierce Fuu. Everything happened very fast and both of them were caught off guard. They put all their attention to the enemy in front and they were hundred percent sure that the ninja on the ground was one of their own that is why they did not stand a chance against Sasuke's sneak attack. As a result one of them was dead while other was severely injured and doesn't have the ability to move. Danzo, who was busy undoing the seals froze in shock with the change of events. He looked into the eyes of the ninja who was supposed to be his subordinate and it was mistake on his part. What he saw next was not his subordinate's eyes but a pair of mangekyou sharingan casting a genjutsu on him.

Sasuke was in no mood to talk to Danzo or let him know it was him exacting revenge, his entire focus was on attacking Danzo. He didn't underestimate Danzo, after dealing with two root ninja he casted the genjutsu on Danzo as well as opened fourth gate. After becoming the jinchuriki of yin half of Kurama, Sasuke's genjutsu and other yin nature jutsu of his eyes rise to another level. He had a feeling that his yin nature jutsu would get a boost since Naruto gained great healing due to yang half of Kurama.

By the time Danzo broke the genjutsu, he lost his right arm as well as he was captured under a giant hand. Sasuke used Susano to hold Danzo like a toy he can crush any moment.

DANZO: "Who are you? You are neither Itachi nor the Uchiha in the spiral mask?"

SASUKE: "Die in suspense you son of a bitch."

Sasuke didn't hesitate, he decapitated Danzo as well as crushed his body with Susano.
