Life goes on

"I think he is a natural chakra sensor and he can do it passively." Minato voiced his opinions. This sent another wave of shocks throughout the room and gasps are heard. "What's the range in that you can sense Hiroto ? " asked Kushina. "Normally ten feet around me passively otherwise I can nearly double it. But maybe more if I put in more effort," replied Hiroto.

"But how is that possible?" questioned Mikoto voicing out everyone's thoughts. For a few minutes, silence filled the room. Minato cleared his throat pulling all eyes in the room to him "I have a theory. I am a natural sensor and Hiroko-san and some Uzumaki have the same ability." Kushina nodded agreeing to that.

"So there is a chance that Hiroto inherited sensor abilities from both sides of the family and both these have some similarities and differences like how I can differentiate each chakra, identify them, and from Kushina shared with me some Uzumaki can tell what type a person is from their chakra. So my theory is that they somehow fused and caused a mutation." Minato concluded.

Hearing Minato's theory everyone mulled on it and nodded agreeing about that. "Hiroto, your passive chakra sensing needs to be a very well-kept secret. " Minato warned Hiroto of its implications which everyone agreed upon.

A few moments later Kushina said to the boys "Now you have unlocked chakra training intensity and topics differ. I will teach you taijutsu and fūinjutsu basics, and Mikoto will teach you chakra control and make you proficient in hand seals. Fugaku-san and Minato will teach you politics, and battle tactics and refine your fighting style. Based on how far you progressed we will further your teachings. And if want to further your knowledge in any other specialties you can approach us we will teach you or find others if we are not good at that."

To that Itachi and Hiroto nodded and realized that the adults had a talk beforehand about their training schedule. With that, they noticed it was getting late so the Uchiha bid their byes and made their leave.

After the Uchihas left Kushina gave a look to Minato to which he gave a nod and Kushina asked: "Hiroto can you come with us." Hiroto nodded and followed the couple to the house's basement. Soon the three of them made their way toward a bookcase and Kushina pulled out a book that was etched between two books having Uzumaki and Namikaze clan symbols on their spines.

"Come here." Kushina pulled Hiroto closer. Hiroto came close and noticed a kanji which translated to blood, "Hiroko-nii developed this seal it only recognizes some people, we don't know what's in that room." said a sad Kushina. Hiroto turned his head toward the couple and asked " Can't you enter ? ". "We can but chose not to. You can see enter it once you become genin but we prefer you open it after becoming a chunin," said Kushina.

"We believe it also has your father's diary. If you want to know more about them you can ask us anytime," said Minato while ruffling Hiroto's hair affectionately. "They aren't my only parents," said Hiroto with tears threatening to fall out. Listening to this Kushina hugged the kid tightly and Minato soon followed. After a few moments, they left this room and shared the adults shared some of their stories, and like Hiroto fell asleep between them.

The next day Itachi and Hiroto started their training and each kid have their own specialty and disadvantages owing to their genes like Hiroto in taijutsu and Itachi in shurikenjutsu. Even though there are differences both kids are trying hard to match their potential and left their peers in the dust.

Some days Minato made the kids spar with his team to prevent both his team and the kids develop arrogance. Minato smiled in glee with their interaction and both the groups developed a sibling relationship with each other. But Minato can't help but look at his team and pray for them to be safe as the third great ninja war is increasing its intensity and making the ninja nations put even academy students on the battleground.

True to his worries a few days he and his team received orders to report. So Minato soon bid his byes and left the village with his team of chunins in tow. Soon a few weeks passed by Itachi and Hiroto are hearing more about the gruesome war as they pass along the streets. The kids can't help but pray for their loved ones' well-being.

On a particular day as Hiroto and Kushina are resting after a spar Mikoto and Kushina made their way toward them with somber looks. Noticing the heavy atmosphere, they kept praying nothing terrible happened in their hearts. Kushina and Mikoto also noticed how the kids are looking and prayed for their loved ones' well-being. "Obito died in his mission but saved Kakashi from his death." promptly said Mikoto.

Kushina had tears streaming down her at that point but tried her best to console the kids. But soon noticed Itachi's eyes turning red and black clouds forming around Hiroto along with thunder clapping sounds are heard. Mikoto also noticed the kids and mumbled "Sharingan.." under her breath when she saw Itachi.

Soon both the kids lost consciousness and a few hours later woke up in a hospital bed. The mothers filled the kids in on what happened and how Itachi awakened his Sharingan and how Hiroto lost his control over his chakra and injured himself. "When can we see Obito nii-chan ?" asked Hiroto. Kushina composed herself and said "Kakashi is arriving with Obito, Rin is temporarily assigned to another unit." said Kushina got confused looks from the kids, seeing this she explained "Kakashi got promoted to jonin and Kakashi lost his left eye in that battle but got Obito gave his eye to Kakashi before his final moments. So he needs further medical attention."

This made the atmosphere in the room further down. Soon they got discharged and the kids mulled over the news and soon increased their training intensity to cope with it. Both their mothers seeing this can only hope for their cheerful selves to be back soon. A few days later when they are sparring even when fully drenched in sweat they got the news that Kakashi is back.

So they went to look for him but couldn't find him in the hospital and got word from a nurse about the direction he left in. They searched for him in that direction and soon Itachi said "Team 7" hearing that Hiroto instantly connected the dots that team 7's training ground in that direction and soon made their way towards Training ground 7.
