Jōnin test

Hiroto watched on as the newly arrived jonin sat before them.

"You've chosen a good spot to rest. What a drag, let's introduce ourselves. I'm Nara Shikaku your jōnin-sensei. I like playing shogi with my son, sleeping, and protecting the village. I don't like someone who can't appreciate a good nap" Shikaku introduced himself.

"I'm Mitarashi Anko, I like Dango and experimenting with poisons, I will kill someone and I don't like people who hate others because of a person's lineage" Anko went first.

"I'm Uchiha Itachi, I like spending time with my little brother, and eating Dango, I dislike people who don't have their own opinion and useless wars" Itachi introduced himself.

"I'm Uzumaki Hiroto, I like spoiling my little brother, ramen, protecting who I consider family, I dislike people who can't differentiate between a victim and an instigator" Hiroto completed his introduction.

" Okay since introductions are done. Some of you may be aware for you to become a full-pledged genin you need to pass another test" Shikaku informed his newly assigned genin team.

"You've got to injure me and your time starts now" said Shikaku and flickered away.

Hiroto looked at both his teammates before he could say anything the snake summoner rushed away "Follow my lead brats and don't drag me down" leaving these words behind.

Hiroto looked at Itachi for his opinion the latter shrugged his shoulders and said "We can only try to take advantage of her distraction ", the Uzumaki nodded and both of them left in the same way as their teammate didn't leave Hiroto's passive sensing range yet.

After a few minutes,

Hiroto and Itachi hid a distance away to see Anko ready to confront Shikaku in an empty space surrounded by trees.

"Yo pineapple the last time I called a person sensei he turned out to be a son of a b*tch, so you need to gain my acknowledgment for me to call you Sensei. Let's see how strong you are" Anko said and dashed forward.

Anko sent a kick towards the Nara clan head who dodged it effortlessly.

Anko smirked at the jonin as two snakes came out of both her sleeves and pounced on Shikaku with fangs baring.

Anko's smile froze and tried to counterattack but she couldn't move and the snakes also froze before leaving her sleeves, she saw the jonin smirk and say "Shadow Possession Jutsu complete".

Only after hearing this did Anko observe shadows on her body and the snakes who are also frozen because of their tails' contact with her sleeves she cursed herself.

Hiroto and Itachi looked at the shadows slowly slithering their way towards Anko, they looked at each other and made a plan.

A few seconds after Shikaku said 'Shadow Possession Jutsu complete ' Hiroto made his attack with Adamantine sealing chains and made the shadows binding Anko immobile.

Hiroto smirked at his jōnin sensei, the jōnin had to body flicker escaping kunais aimed at the jōnin by Itachi. Hiroto looked on as Anko attacked with Fire Release: Fire Dragon Bullet, Hiroto took advantage of the distraction dragged Anko with him, and retreated along with Itachi.

"Thanks" Anko muttered and looked away.

"No problem we are gonna be a team so we have to work together" Hiroto said to his teammate.

Itachi nodded with a smile agreeing with the statement.

Anko is new to this warmth and tries hard to hold her tears back, as all she knew till now was being subjected to Orochimaru's experiments a person she trusted and scorned by many Shinobi because of her former sensei's betrayal.

"We need an attack plan" Itachi said and got nods in response.

Hiroto, Itachi, and Anko arrived together to see Shikaku open his eyes and say "What a drag".

Hiroto moved in another direction and Anko started off the attack with a Fire Release: Great Fireball Technique, which was evaded with the help of substitution jutsu.

Hiroto and Itachi followed with a barrage of kunais, Shikaku blocked with a Fūma Shuriken and launched it at his Uchiha student.

Hiroto sent an FTG kunai in the midst of normal ones again after launching himself into the air using his Adamantine chains as a springboard, he used FTG jutsu and held a kunai to Shikaku's throat.

Hiroto saw his jōnin sensei smirk at him and dispel making Hiroto curse at not noticing the shadow clone, he was nearly blindsided with a Fire Release: Great Fireball Technique from Anko.

Hiroto and Itachi noticed Anko is again under Shadow Possession jutsu they followed the shadow binding her to see Shikaku who exited from his hiding spot dispelling the jutsu.

"I have to say that was a very good plan. If I didn't know your relation to Minato I might have already been done in your hands" said Shikaku and the last statement aimed at Hiroto.

Hiroto and Itachi smirked at Shikaku and the jonin immediately used 'kai' handsign to dispel the illusion of the former two, he looked around and repeated the same process again dispelling Demonic Illusion: Double False Surroundings Technique.

The moment Shikaku broke the genjutsu cast in him he was attacked with Adamantine attacking chains from one side and Itachi's kunai from the other, he sighed after escaping the attacks from pointed ends with a fireball jutsu from Itachi and Hiroto amplifying with wind jutsu.

Anko followed along summoning snakes to attack their jōnin sensei without giving him a chance to catch his breath.

Shikaku bound the snakes and made them dispel, he was immediately overwhelmed by taijutsu attacks from all his students. The jōnin had to spend a few minutes blocking them and taking a few hits along, he took an explosive seal making a small explosion making a distraction, and used a substitution jutsu to take a breather.

Hiroto followed with an attack using Adamantine chains and the other two genin tried to support using ninjutsu attacks but all the genin froze.

"Shadow Possession Jutsu complete, What a drag. You need to look at the direction of your shadow too when attacking me" Shikaku said and asked, "Do you give up?".

Hiroto and the other two could only nod in dejection and looked at their right side where their shadows are cast thanks to Sun and cursed themselves for not noticing this in the heat of the battle and why their sensei moved ninety degrees left to his previous position.

"All of you have passed" Shikaku announced seeing the dejected looks on his teams' faces.
