43 Goodbyes

"It's good, I see you also got your father's sword" Hizuren said eyeing the sword.

Hiroto nodded at that without going into further details, after a moment he asked "Hokage-sama can you allow me to leave the village for sometime?".

"Can you tell me the reason and where you are gonna go during this time?" Hizuren said and pushed the bingo book across the desk.

Hiroto picked up the book and browsed it, he saw his and Itachi's entries, and naturally, he also came to the same conclusion as his former team.

"Seeing your expression I think you also understood the enemies you will face. So I am responsible for the lives of my ninja and you can be considered family, so I need to know what is your plan" Hizuren said studying Hiroto's expressions.

"Thanks for the concern Hokage-sama. My father's summon Brutus wants to train me in the summoning realm" Hiroto said in reply.

Hizuren thought for a few moments and replied "Ok I accept but I need updates from you every month. I will take care of the other details".

"Thank you Hokage-sama. I will take my leave if there isn't any other matter" Hiroto said.

Hizuren excused the chūnin just as he was exiting the room, he said "Convincing Naruto will be a nightmare". Hiroto nodded at this in acceptance as he had the same thought, "I have to try" he said and closed the door.

After Hiroto left Hizuren stood from his seat and looked at the Hokage monument looking at the First Hokage monument, he murmured in a low voice "Onimaru, it drew the blood of Hashirama sensei and Uchiha Madara, the next wielder died prematurely making the Shinobi sword forget this. A sword that doesn't lose to the Swords of Kusanagi forgotten by the world. I hope Hiroto doesn't share the same fate as his father. Hiroko, I couldn't protect you, I will make sure Hiroto doesn't follow you anytime soon".

Nara clan

In the house of the Nara clan head, Yoshino is busy preparing food for her husband's students. Soon she was done and guests started arriving with Anko leading the way into the house with Itachi and Hiroto following behind.

Everyone has their meals and had blissful expressions on their faces. "Yoshino-san you have to teach me, how to cook" Anko said.

"Are you sure it won't be poison?" Shikamaru took a jab before his mother could reply, this resulted in his suffering at the hands of the purple-haired demoness.

Everyone smiled at this soon, Shikaku led his students to his office. "So Hiroto want to share what's on your mind?" Shikaku asked his student as he noticed the Uzumaki chūnin being absent-minded sometimes during the meal.

Hiroto shared the details of the events of the summoning realm not hiding anything as he did with Hiroto. "So let me get this straight, you will leave Konoha from anywhere between 1 and 2 years to learn all of them. Why can't you do the same while staying in Konoha?" Anko asked with anger clearly in her tone.

"It's my legacy Anko and I could also find books on fūinjutsu along with jutsus on my kekkai-genkai. I don't have any other way Anko, I need to become strong to be together with Naruto and this is the only way I could become strong in a short time" Hiroto replied and he explained to them about other kekkai-genkai from Uzumaki side storm release and his kekkai-tota.

"It's a good decision as he is wasting his abilities" Shikaku expressed his support.

"It's true Anko, you know Hiroto's torment of being away from Naruto. If this is the way he could reunite with his brother I say do it" Itachi said.

Anko thought for a few moments and replied "Fine, send us a letter atleast once a week".

Hiroto nodded and gave a hug to Anko, and soon Itachi and Shikaku joined in. Hiroto left with Itachi to share the news with Fugaku and Mikoto. It's safe to say Mikoto is held back by her husband or she would've chained Hiroto in her house. "Then go, I will make sure Naruto will be able to beat you once you come back" Mikoto said her thoughts of training Naruto along with Sasuke. "I would love that Aunt Mikoto" Hiroto expressed his joy at that.

Hiroto also went to Shisui's and Kakashi's houses to share the news even though both of them are sad they understood the reason and because of Hiroto being away slowly bounty hunters and other nations would turn their eyes away from Hiroto.

The next day Hiroto went to the orphanage to pick up Naruto so he waited at the entrance, he picked up Naruto and both of them had a good time.

Hiroto took Naruto to the training ground behind the Hokage mountain, he kneeled in front of Naruto and said "Naruto I have to leave the village for sometime to train".

"Am I coming with you?" Naruto asked meekly with tears threatening to fall from his eyes.

Hiroto hugged the younger boy close and said "Once I come back you can stay with me Naruto. I promise you".

Naruto is happy at this news but the sad atmosphere hasn't been completely alleviated. Hiroto noticing this continued "I need you to be strong during this time. If you've got any problem don't worry you can go to any of my friends or you can also go to your friends Sasuke or Shikamaru's family".

"Here, take this kunai with this I can reach you anytime" Hiroto passed his new FTG design kunai.

Naruto held the kunai handle close and hugged his brother till he reached the orphanage.

The next day Hiroto bid his byes to all his friends and made the summoning jutsu handsigns summoning Kaimana with that he left.

In a dark space underground only a dim light is the source of light.

"Danzo-sama, we've got news Uzumaki Hiroto's contract summons are from the crocodile clan and he left to train there" a masked ninja said with an emotionless tone.

"Good spread the word Uzumaki Hiroto hates the kyuubi brat as they share the same surname, this will get Kakashi not to leave the brat's side.

Danzo looked at the corner covered in darkness and said "Hinoe the Uchiha plan is a go".
