Chapter 23: After The Cleaning!

But, I Shikaku have made a mistake.

I looked at the prince as he smiled back at me. But, this time… his smile wasn't a friendly one.

I shivered as I saw his eyes.

"Do tell me Nara. Are you a goat or a tiger?" The prince asked with a frigid voice.

In Daimyo's Mansion, inner room~

I have sorted out the missions and sent an extra squad, to investigate the other elders.

The Hokage tower, being so close to the Daimyo's mansion, made it easy for me to give orders from here.

The Mansion was secured and without permission people can't even approach it, making it better than the tower for this situation… As secrecy must be kept.

The other reason being…

I looked at the young prince having a game with Shikaku.

As the prince started outsmarting my Jonin Commander. I was more than astonished.

This young man was a prodigy no doubt.

But as the game progressed and the prince started speaking. The atmosphere started to change bit by bit.

I could feel Shikaku shiver. And then the prince asked the question. I could only stare at him wide-eyed.

"Do tell me Nara. Are you a goat or a tiger?" The prince asked with a frigid voice.

This game, was a setup. A simple powerplay. A warning…

I already knew the prince wasn't simple, and this was Shikaku's first time meeting the child.

He even tried to implicate him, thinking the prince wouldn't understand. But how wrong he was… If I wasn't in my state of grief, I would have stopped him. But it's too late already.

Shikaku was shocked, to say the least, as we all were. The elder samurai was looking at his master in horror. I believe his trust in his master has grown even more after this display.

If I didn't see him myself after his birth… I would have never believed this is Kaneko's child…

I stared at Shikaku. Thinking, 'Shikaku, what will be your answer? Are you the tiger that's playing with a goat? Or are you the goat thinking you were a tiger?'

I wanted to hear his answer.

But I know that I woudn't be able to hide Danzo's deeds. No matter what plan I think of, all leads to a state of panic... I can only wait for this game to end and ask Shikaku...

As Shikaku was furrowing his brows, someone flickered in. Seemingly saving him from his plight.

*Swoosh*

Seeing it was the prince's aide Fuse, everyone breathed a sigh. The situation was too awkward and could have turned into a mess. But the timely entrance of Fuse, defused the situation a bit.

But…

We knew that, this was a warning. Letting us off easy, with a simple display of superiority.

The prince was more mysterious than we had anticipated. We need to see what he wants to do from now.

I was just glad that he is the prince of the fire country. And wields the will of fire.

I know he does. I saw his eyes as he gave his speech to the young Uchihas and even when he stood up to me.

He showed no fear, no hesitation, stood firm as a tree that no wind could shake. The fire of predominance burns bright in his eyes.

Right then,

*Tick*

The prince put down his last piece. Not on the board but on the table.

He smiled and the atmosphere became normal, as he said, "Ah, Nara-sama, thank you for the game. You really are a smart person, to make me put my pieces so randomly. Hahahahaha. But do help me spread this simple game, yes? I know the children have a hard time playing shogi, this might be a better starting point and more fun for them."

The prince smiled as if the recent events never occurred.

I sighed, and thought, 'We really shouldn't treat him like a child.'

I then saw him face Fuse, and asked with narrowed eyes, "Is everything set?"

The aide replied as if practiced, "Yes, Mitsu-sama, all the preparations are done. We even have extra food and volunteers for support. We are only waiting for your orders now."

"Excellent! Get everyone ready. We will not let the civilians feel that they are unsafe in the village! Make sure everyone understands the situation, as we have discussed. Understood?"

"Yes, understood, Mitsu-sama!" Fuse saluted and left the room with another flicker.

I admired the boy's ability to flicker. He wasn't on the level of Shisui to create afterimages, but he was faster than most Jonin I know.

I can't believe we didn't notice a talent like him earlier… It was a shame. But nothing we can do now.

I then looked at the prince and asked, "Mitsu-sama, what are you planning to do?"

He looked at me and smiled playfully, "Nothing much, just making sure the civilians know that they are fed and protected."

Shikaku and I stared at the prince. We knew we had lost on the chance to be the first ones to send aid to the people…

[Fugaku]

"What are you doing, Fuagku? DID YOU BETRAY THE UCHIHA?" Shouted the last rebel leader as he jumped back and took a defensive pose.

*Flash* The elder opened his Sharingan.

I didn't answer. I had nothing to say. Everything will end with this last death…

I opened my eyes, as they changed into their Mangekyo form… This will be my first time using this ability on a fellow Ninja…

"Kamiumi!"

I invoked my right eye, as I sent the elder in an illusion where he will regress hundreds of past lives till his very creation, as he dies of mental stress.

[A/N: Kamiumi, the emergence and creation of gods! Look back a thousand births to see your emergence. A very new Mangekyo ability makes an entrance! *Dab*]

My eye closed. I can't use this many times because of the chakra requirement. But I wanted to send this elder to the regression cycle… The reverse Samsara...

He was the first one to instigate the clan to this foul plan… The person who read the stone plaque in Naka shrine… Fortunately he didn't have enough power to use his Mangekyo ability in battle...

'An infinite Tsukuyomi huh?' I muttered to myself as I saw blood running down all of the elder's orifices.

It's finally over...

.I walked out of the house and saw Itachi and Bear. Bear looked at me and nodded, then flickered away.

I then took a deep breath as I looked at my son. I was proud and also worried, this young boy had gone through so much, in his little life.

Today he had to kill a few of the rebels himself…

But I am glad everything is finally over. I just hope Hiruzen, will be able to make proper decisions from now on. This charade has gone for too long.

I glanced at Itachi and patted his shoulder, "You did good, son. Let's go and find your mother and brother."

Itachi only nodded and we flickered away.

Around dawn~

Konoha Mountain Shelter

There were a lot of civilians taking shelter here, most of them were of the Uchiha, the rest were civilians from the adjacent blocks.

Most of them were relaxed as many nicely clothed maids from the Daimyo mansion and many volunteers from the civilian council were there, helping them settle and make them aware of the situation.

Thus, no panic outbreak happened.

They had enough food, water and people to talk to. And as the situation was known to all, no one panicked. The Uchiha civilians and Genins were a bit sad, however.

Knowing a few of their elders were manipulated and controlled by a villain… It really hurt them. They wept and started praying.

They were promised justice by a young boy. Many would have laughed at his words.

But the young boy was the prodigious prince himself. They had all heard many rumors about the prince.

And now a new rumor started circulating.

It was about how the prince and his samurai helped take care of the villain, they now possessed even more respect and awe for the young prince.

And not to mention, the relief aid came from the prince first! The rest of the clans sent food and help a lot later.

Many of the Clan heads were there to provide moral support, and to let everyone know the situation was alright. But the civilians felt, they came way too late to comfort them. As the princes maid army has been here since dusk.

After Fugaku arrived, he gave a speech towards the people, declaring the deaths of the villains. Earning him many cheers! He will be hailed as a hero for sure...

And then, after a long night of struggle and uncertainty, they finally saw the break of dawn.

Bringing a new light and a new promise for the coming days!

Around 10 in the morning,

Council Meeting room-

The clan heads of the Great Noble clans with the smaller clans were present. The Hokage and elder council was also in attendance.

But there was one extra person in the meeting. It was none other than the third prince of fire. Kaneko Mitsu, in the flesh.

At first everyone had a peculiar face when they saw a six-year-old child sitting there. But after he was introduced, no one seemed to have any issues with him.

Well… Almost no one,

"What is the young prince doing here? Explain Hiruzen! This is a council meeting for the Clans, not the monthly hearing!" Said an annoyed Koharu.

"Koharu is right Hiruzen, Mitsu-kozo's presence is not needed here." Said a nodding Homura.

Everyone looked at the prince, who was only smiling at the two council elders.

The Hokage was about to say something but was beaten to the punch by Fugaku, "Elders, it's better if you take your seats now, or you might miss the chance."

Koharu was enraged by the rude remark, "YOU, Uchiha boy, you upstarts have already caused the village so many troubles! I am sure even this meeting is regarding your clan. Just wait, and we will see what else you bunch have been up to. And I stand by my earlier opinion. This is no place for a child.

You! You must be his attendant, show the prince, his way home. I will send his mother a letter about this."

The room turned silent. The smaller clan heads didn't understand the reason for the change in atmosphere. But they knew something was going to happen….

Some of them looked at Hiruzen. Who was sighing while his eyes were closed. It felt as if he didn't want to deal with this.

Then they head a childish voice,

"Oh pwease don't shend a letter to my mom! She will spank me again. I have been a good boy too!" Mitsu said with a pout and sad eyes.

Everyone was dumbfounded by the childlike voice. The Hokage and the Jonin commander seemed horrified as they were sweating and Fugaku had a scrunched up face as he felt cringed.

"Good, as long a-" Koharu was satisfied and wanted to reprimand the child a bit more when,

"Is that what you thought I would say, crone?" Came the frigid voice of the prince.

Before Koharu could react. The prince continued,

"You really think you are funny, don't you? You are just a simple member of the elder council. You are advisors to the Kage, but you hold no actual power!

You have no idea, who you are talking to, and yet, you can act high and mighty. Do I need to show you your place?" Said the prince.

"YOU LITTLE RASCAL! I WILL TEACH YOU MANNERS THA-" Koharu was shouting, she was incensed.

"Manners that my mother didn't teach me? I highly doubt someone like you even knows proper decorum. Or you would have known, it's only polite to greet the prince when you meet him.

And those are big words coming from traitorous bastard like yourself, Utatane Koharu. Shaggy, read her file!" The prince smiled evilly as he ordered his aide.

Shisui stepped forth and took out a parchment, "Yes, Mitsu-sama, Utatane Koharu, Elder of Konoha council.

Crimes:

1 Helping Shimura Danzo by providing him the Hokage's confidential schedules.

2 Helping Shimura Danzo by providing Orochimaru with the back entrance route to the village.

3 Bribing the Matron of the Orphanage to slip a few children with larger chakra reserves and trafficking them to Shimura Danzo.

4 Spreading of the rumors about Kurama clan's curse .

5. The main informer of Uzumaki Kushina's labor location, as she was the provider of the spot, with Sarutobi Biwako, the Hokage's wife. Who was brutally murdered that night as well.

12. Plotting the Massacre of Clan Uchiha with Shimura Danzo

13 Sending Shimura Danzo's fake letter to one Senju Nawaki... "

Shisui had almost crumbled up the parchment as he read out the charges. He was enraged. But he controlled himself, the best he could.

He continued, " And these are the charges against, Utatane Koharu. As for Mitikado Homura, he only has two charges, one for plotting against the Uchiha, and the other for spreading rumors about Uzumaki Naruto."

[A/N: There aren't any crimes directly pinned on the elders. But they did enable Danzo. And Koharu's movements were sus, as Danzo kept getting the orphan supplies. As for Homura, the power just got to his head, he usually had composed a personality and thought clearly as they made decisions. And the other thing is, I hate Koharu. The bish needs to go. I will keep Homura alive for later plots.]

Koharu seemed to have seen a ghost as Shisui read her charges. She was stunned and afraid as she looked around the room.

The clan heads were looking at her in disgust. Some of them were even using chakra to forcefully calm themselves.

Kurama Clan head seemed almost ready to attack, as his eye whites were turning red from bloodlust.

She looked at Hiruzen who had his eyes closed and there were bits of tears flowing down his face.

She finally looked at Homura. Her oldest and closest friend. But all she saw in his face was disbelief and horror.

Homura said, "Koharu… How could you? How could you do all that with Danzo… Any of those acts are considered treason…"

Koharu wide-eyed, screamed. "WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT HOMURA! I HAVE LOVED THE VILLAGE SINCE I WAS A LITTLE GIRL! THIS VILLAGE IS MY HOME! I HAVE DONE ALL THAT IS NEEDED TO MAKE THE VILLAGE STRONGER AND PROSPER!"

She started shouting all over the place. Her sanity was in question now…

Homura looked at her in disbelief, and before he could say anything, the prince's voice could be heard,

"You and Danzo… Are the same… You do the most disgusting crimes, and call it 'for the village'...

You guys have influenced two wars… three if we count Uzushigakure and four if we look at the kyuubi attack six years ago.

And you still have the GALL TO UTTER THAT NONESENSE?

How many people have you killed with your plots? How many children lost their parents? How many parents lost their children? How many loyal Ninja's who went to war thinking they were protecting their families, their village. Died!! Because of some SENILE OLD OAFS WERE PLAYING GOD?!!!

UNACCEPTABLE!

Take her away… She will answer her crimes in front of the people of Konoha…"

The room was silent and no one refuted. Shikaku Nara nodded and Bear from the ANBU came and took Koharu away.

As for Homura, he wasn't involved in the war crimes. But he did agree and plotted with Danzo on the Uchiha.

But from his letters and scrolls, it was only found that he wanted to kill the rebels to quell a civil war.

So he will lose the elder powers and status and will only help the Hokages when they ask him to. Simply making him relieved of his council duties.

Shikaku then surveyed the room, and said, "That concludes one of the topics of this meeting! Now we will decide what to make of the Uchiha Clan…"

Before anyone could say anything, Fugaku spoke up first.

"I will publicly apologize by stepping down from the position of Clan head. As it was my responsibility to handle my own clan.

But I failed miserably. And I am also tired. I want to spend my days with my family. I have nominated Uchiha Shisui as the next clan head, as he has the strength, the outlook, and the resolve to protect the clan and the village!

He was the perfect candidate and the others agreed.

I will still support him till he gets the hang of his new duties."

Everyone was shocked. A 14-year-old Clan head? He still had one more year to become an adult!

But then they remembered the candidate, Shisui, of the body flicker, a fearsome Jonin who could make normal Jonins think twice before taking action.

Everyone was excited and a bit worried about the new Uchiha Head. While the new head himself was staring at everyone with mouth agape.

"Ehhhh?!!!"

The only person who had a calm and serene face in the room, was the young prince. But no one knew what his thoughts were…

OWHHH YEAHH! Everything ended like how, yours truly planned. MUHAHAHAHA!

My samurai dude now has a loyalty of 82%, SICKKK!

I have no fricking idea how the frick that even happened. But, ya know who the frick and their mothers care, am I right? *wink wink*

Somehow my bullfuckery turned into some touching story for the old man.

Welp, Imagination zero and Misunderstanding gets one point.

Not that it matters anymore.

As for Fuzyy, he was asked, to rejon the Konoha force as a Jonin leader. But my little, Fuzzy, rejected them.

Aww, I am touched. I removed some fake tears!

And now I have a new aide. Can you guess who? Hmmm? HMMMM?

Well, let me enlighten, ya all. It's Itachi Fricking Uchiha, *gasp*

Damn I feel like I caught a legendary Pokemon.

No, it might be better than a legendary pokemon, getting Itachi is like winning the lottery three times in a row, yeaaaaa boiii!

Oh? How did I get him, well that is a funny story, You see~

*BANG*

When I was about to use my flashback no jutsu, a Snorlax walked in the room, erm I mean,

"Mommy?"

I was dumbfounded. Etto~ What was my mom doing here?

"Wait mother don't come close like that, no mom I am not strong enough yet.

Please don't, please don't, pleasseee, NOOOOOOOOOO!"

Last thing I remember,

I was in my mother's embrace as I fainted….

[A/N: Welp that ends the second Arc: The Academy and The Uchihas. Hope you liked the few serious chapters, as Mitsu showed his intellect and domineering presence in key moments! This will pave the way for a future where Mitsu's words will hold weight, not because he is the third prince of Fire country, but because he is Kaneko Mitsu!

There probably won't be a chapter tomorrow! I am sorry about that :< But I need to visit my grandma in the hospital tomorrow and will probably stay with her. Please do wish for her to quick recovery, she will have a laser eye surgery today, her eyes are almost blind, sigh! Anyway enough of the gloom~ I love you all and see you the day after tomorrow <3]
