8 Aftermath...

White fang, Sakumo Hatake has committed suicide. This news brought great waves throughout the village hidden in the leaf. Sakumo though criticized throughout the village, was still the shinobi whose fame even overshadowed the Sannins.

Several shinobi had remorse about the death of such a powerful ninja. The most impacted by the news was undoubtedly Kakashi. Learning that his father committed suicide dealt a huge blow to the young Kakashi.

Especially knowing that Sakumo committed suicide. Seeing what his father went through and determined not to make the same mistakes, Kakashi decided that following the shinobi rules would take priority.

After the incident, Kakashi put on a mask to hide his pain and grievance and lost the lively attitude towards life itself. After a month of recuperating, Kakashi who was only five years old applied for early graduation.

After the fight with Kakashi was interrupted, Sora seemed to follow his routine. But in the heart of Sora, there were a lot of scruples. The death of Sakumo undoubtedly reminded Sora to be careful of the higher-ups.

The death of Sakumo was not natural. Though Sakumo abandoned the mission, it was to save his friends but everyone seemed to forget about it. Only the news that Sakumo abandoned the mission and Konoha suffered a great loss was spread. Even this news which should be confidential but was flowed out to even civilians leading to criticism and hate. This obviously had the backhand of Danzo.

Danzo deliberately released the news to civilians to smear the reputation of Sakumo. The action of Danzo was not only reprimanded by the Third Hokage, but Sarutobi Hiruzen also tacitly agreed to it.

Before the incident, the reputation of White fang even overshadowed the sannins and he was beloved throughout the village. In this trend, Sakumo becoming Hokage was only a matter of course but Sarutobi did not acquiesce with this.

In Konoha, there is a certain trend about the inheritance of Hokage, let's not talk about the first generation Hokage, the second generation Hokage is the brother of the first generation Hokage.

Similarly, the third generation Hokage is the disciple of the second generation Hokage.

Later in the follow-up plot, the fourth generation of Hokage is the disciple of the Sannins who is the student of third-generation Hokage.

The fifth generation of Hokage, Tsunade is the granddaughter of the first generation of Hokage and also a disciple of third-generation Hokage.

The sixth-generation Hokage, Kakashi is the disciple of the fourth generation of Hokage.

And Naruto, the seventh generation of Hokage is the son of the fourth and disciple of a Sannin and the sixth generation hokage.

Overall the Hokage line is inherited by the closed group of people with same interest. But white fang is not included so if you say Hiruzen is willing to give the seat to Sakumo, it is a blatant lie.

This is further evidenced when Hiruzen remains silent and watched through the whole process of reputation of Sakumo plummeting. If hokage is not aware what is going through the village is obviously false, so Hiruzen agreed with Danzo in this matter.

But all this is of little concern to Sora who is not qualified to participate in this incident. So, Sora honestly honed his skill after the incident till the end of the month. When Sora recieved the news of Kakashi graduation, he was not surprised as this was what happened in the canon.

But the students were amazed as taking a graduation test not even completing a year in academy was a feat in itself.

So, when the news came that kakashi easily completed the test and was personally handed the leaf headband by the hokage everyone was in uproar.

Even after this incident, students thought that kakashi was after all stronger than a civilian like Sora. Though no fool came to trouble him due to the previous lessons.

The graduation ceremony of Kakashi was very simple every classmates said a few words of comfort and encouragement and the ceremony was over.

The graduation of Kakashi did not make Sora have any ideas of graduating early. While Kakashi was taught by white fang and had good foundation, Sora was not.

Sora knows that only with solid foundation of necessary knowledge about ninja as well as mastering all the technique one knows without any gaps can one truly have the capital to survive especially after experiencing the white fang incident.

So, as ususal, Sora still remained focused on his goal and trained to achieve it.
