(A/N: I am not very satisfied with the chapter, but I still hope you enjoy it.)

"Okay kids, listen up. For lunch, those of you who haven't brought anything will be allowed to eat outside of the academy; But!" Iruka raised his voice at the end, seeing that the children started to get excited.

Once they calmed down, he spoke again. "They will only have 1 hour, if they are late for the next class they will be punished and if it is recurrent, even their grades will be affected. Remember, punctuality is essential to be a Shinobi..."

When I heard that part, I couldn't help but think of a certain white-haired Jounin.

Iruka's voice snapped me out of my thoughts. "...That is why they must be responsible with their schedule. With that said, you can come out now."

"RAMEN!" When the word 'Now' came out of Iruka's mouth, Naruto's scream echoed through the hall as he ran through the door.

Iruka only frowned slightly, grabbing some papers and walking out of the room.

When he was out of sight, the silence ended; the children began to murmur among themselves, while others spoke out loud.

"What did your mom prepare for you...?"

"Do you want us to have lunch together?"

"That looks delicious!"

Although it is the first day, many seem to know each other before.

'Now that I think about it, there's no one from the orphanage around here… well, maybe they were sent to another class.' I thought; at the same time that a conversation entered my ears.

"So, Shika. We're going to have lunch at Yakiniku Q restaurant? Or do you prefer potato chips?" The one who asked was a slightly obese boy, with spiky brown hair and a red swirl on each of his cheeks.

Shikamaru looked at him, puzzled. "Didn't you say that your Mother made you lunch?"

"Eh? Yes, she did. Why?" Chouji replied with the same bewilderment.

Confused, Shikamaru grabbed the Bento that was in the small space under the table.

He opened it and found that it was empty; He shot a questioning look at his friend.

Catching the question, Chouji replied, "I ate it during class."

'He eluded the senses of a Chuunin to eat…?' Shikamaru thought with a bit of surprise.

"Sigh… Okay, let's go to the barbecue." The Nara Clan member said in amusement as he got up and started walking.

"Yes!" Chouji said excitedly as he got up, but didn't move; instead he turned his head to the right. "Ino! Do you want to come with us for lunch?"

"No thanks, I already have something." The blonde haired girl replied as she held up a Bento for her friend to see.

"Alright, see you later!" He saluted and headed for the door, where Shikamaru was waiting for him.

'Hm… I guess I'll go for Dangos.' I thought as I got up and left the room.

.

.

Dango's Shop isn't too far from the Academy, so it didn't take me long to get there.

The store has a green roof and windows with wooden slits.

The place was pretty crowded, with only one table unoccupied.

As I looked around, a middle-aged woman stood behind a wooden counter and motioned for me to come closer.

"Welcome, what would you like to order?" The woman asked when I approached.

I had already read what was available on a sign outside the store, so;

"I want the green tea and 4 kabob sticks combo, please."

"Okay, it's 300 Ryo." I nodded and handed her the money.

The woman smiled and replied, "You can wait at the unoccupied table, we'll get it to you in a moment."

"Thanks." I answered and went to sit down.

.

I did not have to wait long, soon they brought a cup of green tea and 4 kabob sticks with 3 Dangos each.

I thanked the person who brought them to me and started eating.

'Delicious.' I enjoyed closing my eyes and reflecting on something that happened during class;

Although my general concepts are quite extensive, I still paid attention, even more so when Iruka-sensei taught about History and Geography.

In case there are any irregularities; however, what happened was that I gained +1 Intelligence when he finished teaching those lessons.

I could only assume that it was due to certain details that I learned that were not mentioned in the manga.

I plan to go to the Konoha Library when school hours are over.

After all, if learning new things increases my Intelligence, this place would be a gold mine.

The reason I haven't been is simple;

Only Shinobi or Academy students are allowed in the Library. In case a civilian wants to enter, they must be an adult and everything related to being a Shinobi is restricted.

"Are you going to eat them?" My thoughts were interrupted by a female voice.

I opened my eyes and found myself staring at two light brown orbs.

The exchange of glances lasted a moment, until the violet-haired woman pointed down with her index finger, "The Dangos… are you going to eat them?"

I looked down, but didn't answer. I only ate 1 of the 4 kabob sticks, but currently there are only 2 left.

I moved my eyes to the woman's plate, where there were 5 toothpicks and a cup of green tea on the right.

I looked at her for a second. "Obaa-san. Stealing is bad."

"Ha!? Obaa-san!?" The woman raised her voice, drawing everyone's attention to her.

Embarrassed, the thief blushed, but before I could say anything, the woman who attended to me when I entered came quickly.

"Did something happen Anko? I heard you scream. " She asked, looking at us both.

But before Anko could explain things, I spoke.

"It's simple, my Dangos were sto–" "–Confused! I accidentally mistook this child's toothpick for mine, sorry, Chuou." The thief interrupted me before I could finish.

After hearing this, people lost interest and went back to their business.

Meanwhile, Chuou narrowed her eyes when she heard Anko's words and looked at her. "Is that so...?"

Avoiding her eyes, Anko grabbed one of her Dangos and handed it to me.

'Seeing the reaction of both women, I can assume that this scene has happened before and that I am not their first victim.' I thought while taking the toothpick.

Chuou sighed and looked at me. "Sorry boy. I'll give you a discount next time you come over, what do you think?"

I let out a small smile. "Alright. Thanks, Onee-san."

Suddenly, I felt a slight tingling on the back of my neck.

[Killing Intent Detected!]

Chuou blushed and coughed sheepishly, "Cough… It's nothing, kid. If you have a problem, let me know." The last part was said while looking at Anko; who kept her gaze fixed on me.

I nodded in response. With one last look at Anko, Chuou left.

I had some tea and went back to eating.

'Then, the System will warn me in case I am the target of Killing Intent, it is quite useful.' I thought. Although the [Gamer's Mind] protected me from being affected, it is still useful to know if someone is hostile towards me.

- (POV - Third Person) -

As Anko walked to the only available table with the green tea combo and 4 Dango kabob sticks in her hands, she saw a child.

He had black hair and wore a kimono of the same color.

When Anko sat opposite the boy, she saw that his eyes were closed.

'He is surely stunned by the taste of the Dangos, the Food of the Gods.' Anko thought arrogantly, at the same time her gaze fell on the boy's kabob sticks.

'I don't think he'll notice if he only loses 1…' Anko peeked around. With her speed as Tokubetsu-Jounin, she quickly grabbed the toothpick and placed it on her plate.

'Sorry kid, but this will teach you to pay attention to your surroundings.' Anko thought, ignoring the fact that even with his eyes open, the boy couldn't feel her or follow her movements.

Before she started eating, a thought occurred to her. 'Maybe he didn't eat them because he doesn't like them…?' Although Anko thought it was impossible for someone to dislike Dangos, she also knew that there were a lot of weirdos out there.

Trusting her instincts, she asked. "Are you going to eat them?"

When the dark-haired boy opened his eyes, Anko studied his cat orbs carefully.

Although they were certainly rare, in a world where people had whisker marks on their faces, insects in their bodies and can breathe fire, the special eyes can only be a momentary surprise; and even void if someone is experienced enough.

The [Friend of the Elderly] Perk only allows the user to get a good first impression, but the thoughts, likes and dislikes of those Elders can greatly influence that 'First Impression.'

When the Hokage saw Kuro, he momentarily mistook the cat's eyes for a snake's, causing him to think of his beloved student.

However, once he noticed the difference, what should be a good impression or a favorable one at the very least, turned into a kind look.

To sum up, if an Elder who had a bad experience with a cat or some feline meets Kuro for the first time, they will remember the bad experience; not the cat itself, but the feeling that marked them.

Converting what should be a favorable impression, in a not so favorable.

Although this only happens if the feeling is very strong; The Perk will still make the Elders have a good first impression. However, whether they maintain it or not will depend on the actions of the user.

Anko is not an Elder and due to her techniques and her past, she has a lot of experience with snakes.

Thus, she did not confuse Kuro's eyes and did not have any intense reaction either, only slight surprise.

After the little exchange of glances, Anko pointed to Kuro's plate and asked again, "The Dangos ... Are you going to eat them?"

Kuro shifted his gaze to his plate and then to Anko's, ending up looking into the woman's light brown eyes.

Initially, Anko believed that a 6-7 year old would be easy to fool or, after seeing her forehead guard, feel shy and unable to think straight.

However, when he called her "Grandmother" she unconsciously exploded, only to be embarrassed when people's eyes fell on her.

'You ignorant brat, can't you see that I'm a rose in full bloom !?' Flushed, Anko cursed the boy. Not knowing that her moment of misery was just beginning.

Due to her outburst, Chuou, the owner of the premises as well as her friend, came to see what was happening.

And before he could explain, the boy spoke.

Fortunately, she didn't let him finish, but feeling her friend's gaze, Anko averted her eyes and returned the toothpick.

This is not the first time that Anko has tried to "train" clients to pay attention to their surroundings, so Chuou is used to it, and it is very difficult for clients to catch her.
