Although Kuro does not plan to reveal the Flying Thunder God technique, he will still use some powers that he had kept secret.

After all, it is best not to hold everything against someone like Orochimaru and there is no use having techniques that you will never use.

"Hiss~" The huge snake hissed and came completely out of the river.

Orochimaru's smile grew. "Sasuke's resistance was commendable, but in the end it was useless. I'm sure you'll be more entertaining."

"Hiss~!" Right after he said that, the snake lunged towards Kuro with its jaws wide open!

When she was about 4 meters from him, Kuro quickly formed 2 seals.

Ox → Rabbit

Right after, he quickly aimed his left fist at the mouth of the serpent swooping toward him.

'Chidori: Sharp Spear.'

Electricity immediately formed in Kuro's fist and shot out in a straight line towards the snake, who had just come within 3 meters of him.

The lightning spear pierced the top of the serpent's mouth and continued upward!

However, Orochimaru took a step back and the spear passed right in front of him and stopped after reaching the limit.

Orochimaru was quite surprised, after all, what Kuro had just done was the Shape Transformation, one of the components necessary for creating a modified technique.

When the lightning spear had reached its limit, Kuro had immediately lowered his fist and the spear fell into a vertical slash.

The snake, on the other hand, was not so lucky. Her head and part of her body were opened in the middle.

The body of the snake fell to the ground and her blood began to spread over the place.

Kuro looked at Orochimaru, who was standing on the river bank.

"I see that you are full of surprises." Orochimaru smiled and licked his lips. "Show me more of your true power."

After saying that, he formed the seal of the Ox and released his Killing Intent.

"Water Release: Water Dragon Bullet Technique!"

*Roar!*

A water dragon formed in the river and shot towards Kuro.

He activated Total Concentration Breathing to increase his attributes by 8%, increasing his Dexterity from 229 to 247.

Kuro used the Body Flicker before the dragon crashed into where it was before.

He appeared in front of Orochimaru and launched a direct kick to his chest.

Orochimaru crossed his arms and blocked the kick, but was pushed slightly, causing him to slide into the river, at the same time attacking Kuro's unprotected leg.

However, he only hit the air.

Kuro was already behind him, his hand outstretched.

'Water Release: Water Prison Technique.'

The water from the river rose and enveloped Orochimaru in a sphere.

Electricity appeared in Kuro's free hand before he touched the sphere.

*BzZzz!*

Orochimaru convulsed for a moment before turning to earth.

*Poof!* Kuro's Shadow Clone exploded when the electricity touched him.

"Using the Body Flicker during a battle and with such precision..." Orochimaru spoke from across the river. "Your talent is truly magnificent." He looked around as he spoke, trying to find Kuro. He felt his presence, but couldn't tell where he was.

'He was unaffected by my killing intent... and his speed is also insane...' Orochimaru frowned inwardly.

Suddenly, the mist formed over the river and quickly covered the surroundings.

"Hiding Mist Technique?" Orochimaru uttered unconsciously before stretching his arms. "Wind Release: Great Breakthrough!"

A violent gust of wind dispersed the mist and created some waves on the river.

"Hm?" Orochimaru looked to the opposite shore.

'First Form: Thunderclap and Flash.'

*Zap!* *Swoosh!* A trail of electricity passed by at blinding speed.

Orochimaru's head detached from his body!

But a moment later, his body separated into many snakes.

Right after, the real one came out of the ground with astonishing speed and bit Kuro's left shoulder!

Orochimaru smiled, however, Kuro's body erupted in a cloud of smoke.

"!" Before he could think of anything, Kuro appeared from behind and hit his back with a Rasengan!

Orochimaru shot out, bouncing off the river water and reaching the other shore.

He straightened his body and his feet crawled on the ground before coming to a complete stop.

Orochimaru's eyes darted in all directions, but he couldn't find any trace of Kuro, not even the slightest hint of his presence.

He quickly bit his finger and after forming the hand seals, he hit the ground.

"Summoning Technique!"

*Poof!*

Many green snakes around 7 meters long came out of the smoke cloud and scattered in all directions.

He frowned. "His speed in the last attack exceeded my expectations, but still, he finished where I wanted... just to be a clone..." His brow deepened. "He knew I was expecting him...?"

However, after a moment, he smiled and licked his lips. "Haha! Never mind… The further out of my expectations he is; better."

Kuro was sitting on the branch of a tree, with the Stealth activated, including invisibility.

When he caught Orochimaru in the water prison, he was already hiding underwater alongside two clones.

After using the mist technique, the original teleported to a mark that he had set when training with Anko.

One of the clones used the Lightning Breath and the Sprint skill together and decapitated the Orochimaru Clone and was exposed to the original, which was hiding underground.

When Orochimaru moved, the other clone, who was hidden using Stealth, attacked.

Kuro didn't know if that was the original or if the plan was going to succeed, however, he bet everything on that, as Orochimaru was only evaluating his abilities.

If the fight got any longer, he would have to reveal a lot of things, which would make Orochimaru get serious.

Kuro had already got his bearings and was casually jumping from tree to tree, heading towards the tower.

He kept the Stealth activated, but without the invisibility.

It is possible that Orochimaru thinks that he will go straight to the tower after the attack, which is why he is going so slow.

Also, it was already close to noon on the second day, so Kabuto must be with team 7 by now.

"Help!"

'Hm?' Kuro stopped and looked to the right, where a red haired girl was being chased by a bear.

When the girl was passing under the tree, she tripped over a root.

She closed her eyes, but never touched the ground.

She slowly opened them and found herself looking at two beautiful blue orbs.

"Are you well?" The question snapped her out of her stupor.

"Hm." She nodded and adjusted her glasses before looking around.

She was sitting on the branch of a fairly tall tree, she looked down and saw the bear trying to climb.

She looked at her savior. "My name is Karin. Thank you for saving me." Karin bowed her head.

Kuro nodded. "No problem."

"Um… do you want my scroll?" Karin asked hesitantly.

"No." Kuro shook his head before looking down.

The bear had already given up and was walking away.
