Chakra

To put it plainly, chakra is what fuels a jutsu. The mental and physical energies of a shinobi's body are joined together into stamina, which is internally converted into chakra, the energy source for a jutsu's activation. The efficiency of this conversion is influenced by the user's skill. Being able to efficiently convert stamina means a possibility to cast an even larger number of jutsu. In addition, chakra can be used to temporarily trigger some physical abilities. Thanks to this, shinobi can perform superhuman physical feats.

[Summary]

Chakra is the energy source from Naruto. Chakra is the combination of both mental and physical energies, and used to cast and create Jutsus. Jutsus are techniques the Shinobi uses during battles. They can vary from user to user, but it always consist on using Chakra to shape it into different forms and characteristics.

With the basic Chakra control, the user has: Energy Manipulation, Surface Scaling, Aura, Water Walking, Statistics Amplification, Shapeshifting and Duplication.

[Jutsu]

Jutsu literally means "technique" or "ability", and that's the main way to attack the opponent. The Chakra is molded and it creates something new. The user uses his chakra and hand seals to perform a Jutsu. More Chakra doesn't always mean the Jutsu is stronger than the other, it does depend on the efficiency of the caster when manipulating Chakra. A Jutsu can be classified with Ranks, from E to S.

Ninjutsu which refers to almost any technique and allows the user to do something they would otherwise be able to do, including the use of weapons. Unlike genjutsu, which makes the target see illusions, the effects of ninjutsu are real. They vary greatly in purpose, with the simplest ninjutsu being used for tasks such as transforming the user or allowing them to dodge attacks. These techniques are often second nature to experienced shinobi, who can use them at will. More complex ninjutsu manipulate the environment or utilize elements, respectively serving tasks such as healing others or manipulating nature transformations.

Fire Release (Katon) is one of the five basic elemental areas of nature transformation. It is performed by molding superheated chakra inside the stomach before releasing it through the lungs and mouth. There are also variations for this in the form of combustible media such as gunpowder, explosive paper, and chakra flow in a weapon. This allows the user to use: Fire Manipulation.

Water Release (Suiton) is one of the five basic elemental areas of Nature Transformation that allows the user to manipulate pre-existing water, or create it by turning chakra into water. More skill is required to create water and expel it through the mouth. Water Release is one of the most versatile of the five basic chakra natures, Water Release techniques can not only change its form but also its state. Furthermore, the water becomes more solid in the process as well. The affinity for suiton is apparently more common among shinobi of Kirigakure. Offensive Water Release techniques seem to cause damage by the sudden force exerted by them, which could cause great internal damage to a human. This allows the user to use: Water Manipulation.

Wind Release (Fūton) is one of the five basic elemental areas of nature transformation. It is performed by shaping chakra to become as sharp and fine as possible. Wind Release consists mainly of short to medium range offensive techniques that combine brute strength and precision to cause slashing damage. Being a rarity among the five basic natures, wind techniques are usually performed with air circulation generation and can be strengthened by this method as well. Chakra of the wind nature can also be channeled into blades to increase their cutting power and overall range. This allows the user to use: Air Manipulation.

Lightning Release (Raiton) is one of the five basic elemental areas of nature transformation that allows the user to generate lightning by increasing the high-frequency vibrations of chakra, allowing piercing damage and rapid movement. The electricity paralyzes the target to thus leave them unable to move and vulnerable to a final blow. Even though uncommon, lightning can be fused to laminated weapons in a manner similar to Wind by the flow of chakra, increasing piercing power through vibrations, with the added effect of causing numbness. Lightning Release is common for ninjas in Kumogakure. This allows the user to use: Electricity Manipulation and Paralysis Inducement. Lightning Style is currently accepted as having lightning speed.

Earth Release (Doton) is one of the five basic elemental areas of nature transformation that allows the user to manipulate the surrounding earth for some defensive or offensive purposes, or even create it; either in the form of dust, mud, or rock. Earth Release techniques have the ability to alter the strength and composition of the earth to be as hard as metal or as soft as clay, as well as manipulate it's density, making it heavier or lighter. This includes allowing the user to travel through soil and rock in various ways that can be essential for either transporting and mounting attacks, creating defenses, or for attacks. In fact, this makes doton techniques one of the most versatile of the elemental techniques. No pre-existing earth is required, the user can create it with their own chakra. This allows the user to use: Earth Manipulation.

Genjutsu (Illusory Techniques) are techniques that are employed in the same way as ninjutsu, requiring chakra and hand seals. However, the primary difference between the two is that the effects of genjutsu are illusory; rather than attacking the victim's body like taijutsu or ninjutsu, genjutsu techniques create false sensations in the victim's nervous system, altering flow of their chakra and consequently causing a disruption in the senses. According to Gengetsu Hōzuki, genjutsu properly falls into the general category of Yin Liberation.

These techniques are often used to create false images or cause pain from a trauma (because the body is induced to believe that this is pain); however, there are several other uses depending on the situation. They are not used as often as ninjutsu because they do not physically injure the opponent, but several characters have made themselves very well known for their great prowess with genjutsu, such as Itachi Uchiha, Kurenai Yuhi, Gengetsu Hōzuki, and Tayuya. Genjutsu can also be used to manipulate others, akin to brainwashing by feeding the victim elusive suggestions, the prime example being Tobi controlling Yagura. However, there is at least one genjutsu, Izanagi, which has the opposite effects of a normal genjutsu, changing reality to illusion and vice versa.

This grants the user: Mind Manipulation, Illusion Creation and Perception Manipulation.

Taijutsu (Body Techniques) is a basic form of techniques and refers to any technique involving martial arts or the optimization of natural human abilities. Taijutsu is performed by directly accessing the user's physical and mental energies, relying on the stamina and strength gained through training. Taijutsu typically requires no chakra, although chakra can be used to fortify its techniques, and dispenses with hand seals most of the time, occasionally making certain gestures or poses, and is much faster to use than ninjutsu or genjutsu. Taijutsu is simply put as hand-to-hand combat.

Although it is used by the vast majority of ninjas, some characters use taijutsu almost exclusively like Rock Lee and his teacher Might Guy, both of whom are experts in many taijutsu techniques. Examples of such techniques include the Dynamic Entry and the Leaf Hurricane. The Gentle Fist of the Hyūga clan, however, makes extensive use of chakra and requires great skill in its control. Taijutsu techniques are the right choices for those who want to save time and chakra, or for those who rely on its physical attributes. It can also be used solely in collaboration with ninjutsu to create nintaijutsu techniques.

Kids born to clans descending from Hagoromo and Hamura usually possesses Chakra level of around 10,000 - 20,000 with kids born to the Uzumaki and Senju clan possesses twice as much as them at birth.

This level of Chakra grows large the more they engage in training and grows stronger.

There are also those that train hard enough to surpass this level of mana amongst the royal circle.

Nobles Clans like those of the Sarutobi and Shimura clan members on the other hand possesses less level of Chakra when compared to the royal clan as the most a kid possesses is around 1,000 - 5,000 and as they grow up, their level increases.

There are also those that train hard enough to surpass this level of mana among the noble circle and even rival a royal. Example of this is Minato, Hiruzen and other great shinobi in the world like the Kages.

Commoners on the other hand possesses far less Chakra when compared to both Nobles and Royals as the best a commoner kid possesses is around 100 - 1,000.

On top of this, there are special cases where a commoner is born with mana level that rivals that of a noble or a royal and there are those who train so hard that they level of mana becomes comparable to or surpasses both nobles and royals together. Example of this Sakura, Kakashi and his father along with Orochimaru and Jiraya

[Tailed Beast Chakra Level]

The nine tailed beasts are the nine titanic living forms of chakra created by the Sage of Six Paths out of the chakra from the Ten-Tails. They are differentiated by the number of tails they have, ranging from one to nine and this chakra ranking will based on the level of tails they have except for the ten tail since all the nine tailed beast combined are just 50% of the ten tails' chakra level.

Anyway starting on our list is the One tailed, Shukaku.

Despite all the tail beast having less chakra than their older sibling, they all have their own advantage over each other and example of this is Isobu and Son Goku with the latter being the physically strongest while the former has more unique abilities than the others.

[A/N: This is true as Isobu on too of having the standard tailed beast abilities also has the ability to create coral and swim at very high speeds. In the anime, Isobu could produce a hallucinogenic mist that exploited the victim's insecurities and forced the victim to face them. Isobu can also roll into a ball to move about quickly and attack its opponents, making full use of the protrusions on its shell in a manner similar to the Akimichi clan's Spiked Human Bullet Tank. Isobu's tough skin and shell also grant it additional defence, allowing it to withstand nearly all forms of attack. It can also use any of its three spiked tails to strike its opponents and break through most defences. In the anime, Isobu's only known physical weakness is its eye; as tough as its skin and shell are, it cannot harden its eyes and thus seems to keep one closed at all times.

Isobu could also create shockwaves to repel attacks and produce large tidal waves around it, enabling it to overwhelm Guren's Crystal Release several times over the course of their battle. When Isobu ate something, thousands of miniature versions of itself would attack what was eaten within its stomach, presumably to speed up the digestion process. It was also shown capable of Space-Time Ninjutsu, materialising an entrance to a separate dimension in which it could hide its presence, until it was ready to return to wherever it chooses and this is something that no tailed beast has been shown to be capable of]
