After the two ANBU ninjas found survivors of the ambushed team, they were rushed to the hospital by the ninjas.

Within moments of the survivors reaching the hospital, the ANBU commander, Minato and the Hokage, Sakumo arrived there.

The two were only able to take a glance at the survivors but, both were shocked after seeing the situation their bodies were in.

"Hey, what happened? Why was I suddenly called?" Yukan asked as he walked towards Minato and Sakumo at a fast pace with a little tensed expression.

"It's about Kozuki's team. Do you remember that they were ambushed months ago? Two ANBU officers found two survivors from that team some time ago." Minato answered as he tried to look inside the operation room from the outside.

"Hmm. I see. Whom did we find?" Yukan asked.

"They were identified just now. Both were you two's batchmates. One has been identified as Uchiha Ryu and the other is Uchiha Shin." Sakumo said as he read a file he just got from a masked ninja before he disappeared.

"Hmm, it's nice that they both survived. Is there anything else? I need to leave with Kushina since it's her due date in 4 days." Yukan asked the two standing there along with him.

"Oh yes yes, go there. We've got nothing else. Just keep Sis-in-law safe." Minato said while Sakumo nodded beside him.

"You don't need to tell me that but, thank you. See ya later." Yukan said as he disappeared from the hospital corridor.

"Hmm, do we have any knowledge about their condition right now?" Minato asked as he turned around to his back.

The two ANBU ninjas who found the two started reporting, "Commander, according to what we could identify, Uchiha Ryu had both his eyes pierced, an arm cut and stab wound all over his torso while Uchiha Shin was even worse, he had both his arms cut also, there were still knives in his wounds on the back. His body was also too thin. We predict that he ate nothing for a while."

Minato raised both his eyebrows, expressing his surprise as to how his batchmates survived.

"That's very bad. Anyways, send me a message when the two wake up. I'll leave now, I've got some financial matters to deal with. Haizzz, I might need to meet the Daimyo." Sakumo said as he walked away from the place.

-4 days later, In some unknown hut in the forests close to Konoha-

It was the time of the night. The sun had disappeared from the sky for the day, taking light away with it. The area around the hut was completely dark with only a few candles acting as the only sources of light.

Inside the hut, Kushina delivered the baby as Yukan stood right beside her, holding her hand and a pained expression, as if, he was in more pain than her at the moment.

Tsunade and Biwako, Hiruzen's wife, helped deliver the baby.

"Yes, only a little more, sweetie. The baby is almost out." Biwako said.

"Come on, Kushina. You can do it." Tsunade said.

"Y-Yes, Kushina, you can do it, my love," Yukan said with his moist red eyes.

Kushina kept her eyes closed as she pushed and took gasps of air.

"The baby's out. It's born." Tsunade said. A faint sound of crying babies echoed through the silent hut as Tsunade slowly stood up with two babies wrapped in clean towels.

Tsunade slowly took the children to their mother, Kushina while Biwako silently stood behind, clapping lightly.

"It's a boy and a girl," Tsunade said as she kept both the children on Kushina's belly after cleaning their bodies a little.

"M-May I pick them?" Yukan asked as he suddenly left her hand and stood up.

"Heyyy, you could at least ask if I was fine," Kushina said while laughing and supporting her children with her hands.

"Oh yeah, umm, so, are you ok?" Yukan asked.

Kushina just laughed and said, "Yes, I'm fine. Now, pick your babies for the first time."

A small drop of tear trickled down from Yukan's eyes as he picked up his baby.

-Outside the hut, a few moments ago, right when the children were born-

Kakashi and Kozuki stood outside, guarding the hut as the second line of defence. They were responsible for stopping the enemy if they broke through the protective seals that Yukan placed.

"Hey Kakashi, may I ask you something just for fun?" Kozuki asked.

"It's not exactly the time to joke but, sure. Just keep it short." Kakashi answered.

"What are the seals placed by Yukan for?" Kozuki asked.

"They are, of course, placed to stop any enemy from the outside. Also, the man who placed them is our 'Sensei', don't use his name to call him." Kakashi said while making a disgusted expression under the ANBU mask he wore.

"OH, I see. Now my real question. What if the enemy is not from the outside but, from the... inside?" Kozuki asked with a ridiculing expression.

"What do you-" As Kakashi was reacting and looking towards Kozuki, Kozuki silently kicked Kakashi's knees, making him lose balance and, held him from his back to not make noise as he fell.

He then removed Kakashi's mask and punched him in the face two times, making Kakahi unconscious.

This all happened so quick that Kakashi could not even react.

"Now, inside," Kozuki said as he took out two kunai and looked inside the hut with murderous eyes.
