Ch 34 : Breaking Tsunade 2

Tsunade was silenced when he heard the kid's response.

He was such a small kid, and he had already tasted the feeling of losing his everything..

Now Tsunade somehow felt that she was not that unfortunate.

At the very least, she still had all the inheritance left by her grandfather.

The more she looked at the kid, the more Tsunade felt pity as she somehow could see her reflection on the kid.

" Kid, can you tell me your name?"

" My name.. It's Chisaki! What about you, big sis?"

Asked the kid to Tsunade.

But just before Tsunade could respond, a rumbling sound suddenly came from her stomach.

Maybe because she was too deep in despair, she didn't realize that she hadn't eaten anything since this afternoon, and now her stomach came back to haunt her.

Tsunade's face was blushing, and she tried to explain, but then the kid took out something from his bag.

" AH.. here, you can take it, Big Sis. It is not much, but it could at least satisfy your hunger a bit."

Said Chisaki as he handed a small riceball at Tsunade.

Tsunade was dumbfounded, but she quickly reacted and received the riceball from the kid.

For her who was despaired, this small kindness somehow made her day as she realized that there was still someone who cared about her without considering her identity, and it made her feel a bit closer toward the kid.

Tsunade took the riceball to her mouth and began eating it with Chisaki.

The scenery of the two eating riceball together under the sunset was very warm, especially with some little chats which the two had during their dinner.

-Later, after they finished their dinner-

After a few hours of talking the relationship between the two had gotten so much closer.

Heck, Tsunade even let the kid lean on her shoulder to rest.

" So, Big Sis, what are you going to do after this?"

Asked the little kid with pure eyes toward Tsunade.

Tsunade, at this time, didn't know what to answer.

She would definitely answer that she would return to Konoha if it was before. But now, her heart had shaken, and she really didn't know what to do. In the end, Tsunade could only shake her head at the little kid.

" Then... how about you come with me?"

" Hmm!??"

Tsunade was startled, but seeing the pureness of this kid, she was a bit curious about his idea.

" Since you have lost everything you care, then why not make a new family with me? If it is with Big Sis, then I'm pretty sure that we will make a happy family!"

Said the kid happily, but unknown to him, his words could be misunderstood by someone else.

Tsunade, who heard this blushed hard, but she quickly calmed down when she thought it was just an innocent remark of a kid, and the "family" that he mentioned was very different from the "family" that she had in her mind.

Still, Tsunade could not immediately respond. Even though she now hates Konoha very much for deceiving her, she still can't just let her home village be like that.

She had a lot of memories in Konoha, and even if a lot of them were bad memories, she just couldn't leave the village that was created by her grandfather just like that.

However, the offer from the kid had shaken her heart a lot, and one more push and she would definitely agree to the kid's offer.

The little kid saw Tsunade hesitating, and he knew that he had spoken too much.

The situation turned pretty awkward as the two didn't talk and just stayed there silently.

A few minutes later, the kid finally broke the silence.

He stood up, and while bowing at Tsunade, he said:

" Well, thank you for accompanying me, Big Sis. My time today with you is very comfortable. But sadly, the day had gone too dark, and I must go back now!"

" Um..."

Tsunade just responded with a nod.

For this kid, she really didn't know what to do. On one side, she wanted to stay with this kid, but on the other side was Konoha.

Tsunade was confused, but in the end, she decided to be selfish for once. After all, being selfish was human nature, right?

Just before the kid fully left the cave, Tsunade grabbed his hand.

" Wait, tomorrow.. can you come here too, tomorrow? I'll try to think an answer for your question tonight!"

" Really, then it's a promise, Big Sis! If you don't come, then I will wait here with you tomorrow, the next day after, and after and after."

The kid's response was very innocent, and it made Tsunade laugh.

She proceeded to place her hand on the kid to play with it for a while before flashing away from the cave.

" Then, see you tomorrow!"

Said Tsunade as she left the cave happily, thinking that tomorrow she would also meet the kid.

But unknown to her, just when she left, the kid's innocentness suddenly went away, and it was replaced by an evil smirk.

" Hehehe.. got you, Tsunade!"
