2 Hidden Mist and Mei Terumi

Looking at the rapidly spinning red sphere in his right hand, Urashiki compressed it into the size of a small bullet and pointed it towards the tree, which was at least a hundred meters apart, and let it go.

"Rasen dan," Urashiki muttered lowly as he watched the bullet travel at speeds never before seen with a Rasengan, blowing the tree to smithereens.

He sighed in boredom. It was a day after he left his cave, which he had demolished into the ground before leaving. He chose to walk instead of flying and spent his time creating Rasengans, a technique he associated with Uzumaki Naruto.

He and his son, Uzumaki Boruto, had used a unified Rasengan to defeat Urashiki. He couldn't help but think of it as a foolish choice, not using the Rasengan against them and opting for the taxing Ryugu technique.

Walking down the path, he felt a sense of ennui. He had nothing to do and no one to talk to, so he began playing with his abilities, manipulating and destroying small rocks with his hands.

He eagerly anticipated exploring the Hidden Mist Village and sought Orochimaru to learn the Reanimation jutsu, a skill that could grant him immense power and knowledge. To do so, he needed to visit the place of the Seven Swordsmen of the Mist, a potential source of valuable DNA, and a means to obtain unlimited Chakra.

"I need to be cautious around Zetsu for now. As for dealing with Orochimaru, that should be easy; I can extract his soul and access all of his memories," he contemplated his plans after acquiring the Reanimation jutsu.

"I need to reanimate someone; they would serve as my ultimate chakra battery, and then I can transform them into a chakra pill. In theory, it should be possible to attain unlimited Chakra."

After three long days, he reached the entrance to the Hidden Mist Village. Passing through the gate, he was greeted by a village shrouded in thick mist, with mountains looming in the background. The cylindrical buildings were overgrown with vegetation on their roofs, and various markets, outposts, and even red light districts were present.

The Hidden Mist Village held significant strategic value, but its potential had been squandered by past conflicts and Uchiha Obito's actions. Holding two Tailed Beasts, the Three Tails and Six Tails, along with the famed Seven Swordsmen of the Mist, it was a wasted gem.

Walking ahead, he crossed the bridge into the village, noticing a large area closed off—the Kaguya clan's land, known for its violent nature.

Activating his Byakugan, he scanned the village, revealing closed and devastated clan areas, except for the Terumi clan area, possibly due to Mei Terumi, the current Mizukage.

As he moved toward the Mizukage estate, he was halted by guards wearing flak jackets and Mist Village headbands.

"Halt! Who are you, and what is your purpose here?" the first guard inquired warily.

"We've never seen you here," added the second guard, displaying suspicion.

"I have no intention of causing harm in the village. I simply wish to speak with the Mizukage for a moment," he replied, glancing at the ANBU who had been tailing him since he entered the village, possibly due to his pale complexion and distinctive pale eyes.

The ANBU was startled to realize he had been detected. He had taken great care to erase his presence, and his discovery could be problematic. He needed to report this to Mei-Sama immediately.

The ANBU silently vanished and reappeared in the Mizukage's office. Mei was seated behind her desk, surrounded by paperwork, her face marked with irritation.

"What is it?" Mei's voice conveyed her annoyance, and the ANBU sweated nervously, not wanting to face her wrath.

"Mei-Sama, someone has entered the village. I suspect he possesses the Byakugan, and he detected my presence. He's now outside the estate," the ANBU reported in a neutral tone.

"What? Where is Ao? And why didn't you inform me sooner?" Mei stood up and gazed down from a window, spotting the figure standing outside. He was a man, or perhaps a young man, standing at five feet eight inches tall, with pale white skin, grayish-blue hair, and pale white eyes that seemed to meet her gaze as if he sensed her scrutiny.

"Nevermind, allow him to enter," Mei decided, her thoughts running on the situation. "He's at Kage level, no doubt. If he can sense me, he may even surpass my strength. And those eyes..."

She remained composed on the surface, but inwardly, she felt conflicted. She knew that fighting here could lead to the village's destruction.

"Why can't I lead a peaceful life with a handsome man as my husband?... ah! Maybe because every time I kiss someone, they melt," she mused with self-pity as the door to her office opened, and the figure, accompanied by two ANBU Black Ops, entered.

"Welcome. What brings you here, handsome?" Mei asked in a sultry voice, gesturing for the ANBU to depart, knowing they wouldn't be of any help.

"Why, I've come to see the village known as the 'Blood Mist,'" he replied with a small smirk, his eyes glinting mischievously as he mocked the village in front of its Kage.

Mei's smile wavered momentarily before she concealed it, retorting, "That was a long time ago, and I wasn't Mizukage when those old fools did that."

As the atmosphere in the room grew hotter and heavier, he continued, "I've come to give you a present. I believe you'll find it quite intriguing."

With those words, he revealed the mysterious gift he had brought, leaving Mei in a state of shock and curiosity.

"Mei-sama, is it alright to leave him alone? Should we send ANBU to keep an eye on him?" A voice came from behind Mei as she gazed out of the window, her mind still reeling from the encounter with the imposing man earlier. Her eyes widened as she remembered the overwhelming pressure he had exuded.

"NO!! Ao!! Don't take any action. Leave him be. We mustn't provoke him in any way," she exclaimed, her breathing heavy as she sank back into her chair, her face filled with panic, which deeply concerned Ao.

In the end, Ao chose to respect her wishes and did nothing, following her lead as he always had. He understood that Mei was making these decisions for the village's welfare.

"Very well then, Mei-sama. I'll take my leave. Is there anything else you need?" Ao asked before preparing to depart.

"Wait, Ao. Take this with you," Mei said as she handed him a broadsword. Ao looked surprised when he received it and was about to inquire when Mei spoke again.

"That man somehow obtained this for us," she explained briefly, leaving Ao with a clear understanding. He nodded and left her office.

Reflecting on what had transpired, Mei looked at her left hand, recalling the conversation and the unsettling encounter.

**Flashback**

**Mei's POV**

"K-kubikiribōchō, where did you get this? Did you steal it?" I asked, suspicion tainting my words as I looked at the sword in my hand.

He smiled and locked eyes with me, his pale gaze unwavering as he responded, "Why would I need to steal it when I possess something superior?" With a wave of his hand, a small black rod, almost as tall as Kubikiribōchō, extended from his palm.

I now understood his confidence; he could use that rod to threaten me and slip away unnoticed.

"So, what do you want from me in exchange for this?" I questioned, my wariness growing.

"Join me. You will play a vital role in my grand purpose," he declared with a deep voice, his tone exuding certainty. I couldn't help but think he was behaving rather foolishly.

"What makes you believe you can make such an offer to a Kage, especially one who could easily eliminate you?" I retorted, frustrated by his arrogant attitude.

"You see, Mei, I can indeed eliminate you and obliterate this village with ease if I choose to." He approached my desk, leaning in closer, his cold eyes locking onto mine as if he was peering into my soul.

"Oh, and why should I accept your baseless proposition?" I snapped, momentarily forgetting the danger he posed.

"A 'show,' you say? Very well, I shall show you the extent of my power!" His eyes transformed into a deep shade of blue with rippling patterns, and I sensed a shift in his aura—primal and destructive yet oddly serene.

A drop of water echoed in the otherwise silent room.

"Why am I sweating?" I wondered, realizing that something about his presence had affected me. The aura returned to normal, but I slumped back in my seat, feeling inexplicably drained.

He raised his left hand, and I instinctively shielded my face with my own, expecting a strike. However, when the anticipated slap didn't come, I breathed a sigh of relief. Nevertheless, I realized that I had developed a trauma, a lingering effect from my father's harsh training sessions.

Instead of a slap, he extended his palm, revealing a diamond-shaped mark at its center. I wanted to inquire about it, but he spoke before I could utter a word.

"You're probably wondering about this mark, correct? This is called 'karma.'" He explained, and the mark began to expand, creeping toward his face.

"It grants me the power to transcend the five Kage and dominate this world," he declared confidently. His words made me believe that he could indeed defeat any Kage. His self-assuredness and those piercing eyes were convincing.

"Once the karma seal is placed on someone, they become the vessel for an Otsutsuki and are essential for the Otsutsuki's revival." He elaborated, and the mark on his palm continued to evolve, and what is this Otsutsuki?

"I'm different, though. I'm greedy, and nothing in this world will escape my avarice. So, I devoured his soul and absorbed thousands of years of his memories, along with his powers." He spread his arms wide, exulting in his insatiable greed.

My eyes widened in shock, realizing that he posed not only a threat to my village but to the entire world. He was a global menace.

"You see, I can bestow karma as well, but mine is different. Since I haven't been fully extracted, I can only offer physical and chakra enhancements." He smiled with glee, confident that I would eventually agree to his proposal.

I reluctantly consented, realizing that I was no match for him. If he intended to rule the world, it made sense for me to align with him.

"I agree to join you, but please spare my village and its people," I implored, swallowing my pride to ensure the safety of my citizens.

"Why are you worrying, Mei? Once you join me, your village becomes mine as well. I take care of what belongs to me," he reassured me, his smile revealing his canines, making him appear almost monstrous.

"Thank you, I will always remember this," I said with gratitude, at least he would not kill my people, but I should be on guard.

"Alright, now show me your left hand and close your eyes," he requested as I extended my left hand with an open palm and obediently shut my eyes. I felt a slight prick in my hand before he released his grip.

I examined the evolving white diamond mark and sighed deeply. Suddenly, it started to transform, extending towards my face and forehead. A strange sensation overcame me, making me feel capable of almost anything. So, this was the sensation of wielding such power, just like that man.

He turned to leave, opening the door. But before he departed, he halted and looked back.

"So, my dear Mizukage, spare me a smile as we bid farewell. I'd like to see your beautiful smile one last time." Reluctantly, I forced a smile, which seemed to satisfy him. With a nod, he closed the door behind him and left.

*End of Flashback*

"Monster... that man is a monster," I muttered as I examined the white diamond mark on my hand. I couldn't help but wonder what kind of chaos he would unleash. A heavy sigh escaped my lips.
