Chapter 26: Project success?

Chapter 26: Project success?

(Inside of the meeting hall, with all current clan leaders and the Hokage)

"Is this information reliant, Jiraya?" Asked Danzo with a solemn voice.

What was in front of them was a scroll of information Jiraya was able to collect from his investigations in the village hidden in the mist.

"Yes, it is. Either the Raikage is kept in the dark regarding matters in how his daimyo is expanding, or they have initiated war." Jiraya replied, as he was casually leaning on a wall.

"And according to this the Samurai are waging war against the Land of Earth, while the village hidden in the sand has decided to stay neutral for now." Koharu said as she read the documentation.

"Why have they suddenly decided to act now? It makes no sense." Hiruzen muttered as he looked towards his disciple who brought this information to them.

"There has been a massive movement of rogue shinobi recently at the borders of the village hidden in the mist, and my sources tell me it is a new organization which aims to take down the Mizukage." Jiraya continued to add.

"This still doesn't answer my question. Why now?"

Jiraya stayed silent for a moment, looking at the current crowd, the leaders of Konoha.

"I suspect Orochimaru has a hand in this." He mentioned, instantly getting everyone's attention.

"According to my sources, a vast majority of extinct bloodlines have suddenly emerged throughout the lands. As we already know, we have a couple of Uchiha's who should be dead from that incident.

But instead, there are hundreds, if not thousands of them now. And there is currently a prisoner inside of the Village Hidden in the Mist, who apparently has the Senju bloodlines and the sharingan at the same time."

(Author's note: To clarify, 3 things are happening at the same time. Samurais are attacking the village hidden in the stone, potentially abandoning their daimyo. Raikage marching his army towards the village hidden in the leaves, and the Mist having a new organization attacking them due to a mystery figure with the senju + Uchiha bloodline)

If what I had read in the forums is true, there is going to be a war right now.

Every player in the Samurai faction was currently revealing how they were under orders to standby and prepare for war.

The village hidden in the clouds also prepared their armies, while the Mists players decided to take on their kage.

I still don't understand why all the rogue players banded together to fight the Mizukage. Did they court death?

The players in the village hidden in the sand were as lost as my player base- of the players in the village hidden in the leaves.

All I knew was, instead of the Chunin exams, we would now be deployed to fight against the Raikage.

We might even have to help the Mizukage if they requested it.

And what if the Sand suddenly decided they wanted to hop in the fun?

Well, at least it wasn't a complete ganging up on the Village hidden in the leaves.

Usually, the great villages just decide to attack Konoha since their power grows too quickly.

I am sure at one point we fought all 4 Major villages off at the same time.

But what I am confused about is why the Raikage decided to attack us.

He knows about the caliber of our shinobi and yet is doing this.

Something else is going on there-but it is well above my pay grade.

For now I should recharge and get ready to be deployed.

Hopefully my mission isn't going to be something ridiculous.

"It works!" I heard my brother shout in happiness from the living room.

"What does?" I shouted back.

"I was able to make a machine out of the scraps here that can repurpose used plastic and metals to convert them into something else! Atomic reconfiguration! It works!"

On the surface of the walking world, there were currently 4 people meeting inside of a lavish restaurant.

The city they were in seemed to look like a massive bubble, sheltering them from the entire outside wasteland, which allows them to breathe pure air and not die due to the radiation.

One of the 4 was calmly sipping her tea, waiting for the response of the other 3 players.

She was wearing a white floral dress and her snow white hair was cascading down her shoulders, giving her an ethereal aura.

If Micheal saw her, he would instantly recognise the TechnoQueen.

"So you have a way to get your account back? And in return you will support our factions?" A young teen who was wearing a purple colored kimono asked.

He had jet black hair in a messy fringe haircut and seemed to be extremely interested in the proposition the girl proposed.

"Yes, before I was dead my faction was able to make ties with an organization Known as the Akatsuki and is still in contact with them. In return for securing the 9 Tailed Fox, they will revive me." She replied casually.

"The 9 tails?" Another female sitting at the table stood up in shock.

All 4 of them were the current strongest players in the Elemental Nations, as far as they knew.

They had the most information among all players.

So they knew it was suicide to capture the strongest of all tailed beasts.

The female who just stood up was wearing a bright yellow colored skirt and shirt. She clearly had a bad sense of fashion, since the clothes didn't compliment her pale complexion or blond hair.

"Nadia, how would losing our accounts be worth it for you to get back yours?" She asked.

There was only one person who was calmly listening to the whole conversation and he didn't give any input of his own.

That was because, while he was probably the strongest person at this table, he was still a proxy and only conveyed what his mastered wished him too,

Yet the woman in the white dress, Nadia, wanted to hear his opinion.

"How about you, Atticus, what do you think."

Atticus, dressed in a formal suit, looked up from his coffee and furrowed his brows slightly.

"Master already made his standing clear, he himself is unable to help since he took on the A-Rank quest and is busy fulfilling its requirements, but he wishes to provide you his full support."

"Well then, Ronald, Matilda. I assume you will follow along as well." Nadia asked with a calm look on her face.

No one on this table dared to defy 'his' wishes after all. Who knew how crazy he would get if they did.

"Where are the majority of your forces?" Ronald asked the group, yet no one replied.

"If we want to help each other we need complete transparency."

"My main forces are currently preparing to march towards the Hidden Leaf on the orders of the Raikage, so we will be there in 2 weeks." Matilda mentioned.

"I have bases of operation throughout the lands, but our majority is in the Hidden Sand." Nadia said.

"Now this is a problem." Atticus places his coffee down and looks towards Nadia. "The Hidden Sand wishes for neutrality. They do not have a leader after all. If the Shinobi in their land move without their permission it is going to be a problem."

Nadia nodded at this since that was a problem for us as well.

The group also understood what Atticus was inferring.

If the Hidden Leaf and Earth saw the Sand Shinobi beginning to move, during the sensitive period of war they would take it as an act of aggression.

Fortifying their borders was different from Shinobi crossing into foreign lands in large numbers.

"So your Main forces cannot assist us for the time being." Ronald mentioned. "I am also unable to assist right now. I managed to convince the Samurai lord to attack the Hidden Stone. We are at the other side of the world."

As he said that, everyone turned towards Atticus.

"We are situated in the Hidden Mist. We were using a portion of our forces to bait out the Mizukage for the Akatsuki." He said, causing Nadia to be shocked.

"So I wasn't the only one who has made contact with their leader."

"Yes, Master had met one of their Main Members, Konan who promised him a deal similar to yours."

"So what do you intend to do then," Ronald asked.

"Master said to help Nadia no matter the cost, so for now we will forgo our planned assault on the Mizukage, and bait Konoha into attacking us first." He mentioned, as a terrifying smile emerged onto his face. "And I know just the bait."
