"Hokage-sama." Shikaku said but before he could finish the Hokage continued.

"I know you're worried about the Chunin exams Shikaku but I am sure we can get him 2 more genin teammates by then. For now I want to test Shikomu here. I have a mission for you guys." The Hokage said as he took up a scroll.

Naido-sensei also seemed a bit surprised that we were already getting a mission.

"This will be a B-Rank mission." The Hokage said and paused for a second to let that sink in. I looked at him in shock. A B-rank already…

"The contents of the mission itself is around the range of a C-rank mission. However it will be considered as B-rank since you will have to travel out of the Land of Fire. There have been movements from Iwagakure civilians near there. I want you to find out what is going on there and report back here." The Hokage mentioned.

As he said that, I got a new notification.

We all nodded and moved out.

Shikaku helped me pack, and his high amounts of experience in this matter had also helped me. He then led me to the entrance of the village.

"This will look really good on your record, as long as you're careful." He told me.

"I understand," I nodded at him, and left with Naido-sensei.

As I read that notification, I kept up with Naido-sensei, who was moving at high-genin speed to make sure I could keep up.

I still had my weight set and Guys spandex equipment on so that I was training while moving. Naido-sensei did not mind this as long as I had kept up with him.

As I was moving, I also thought more about what had just happened. If Danzo was there, it might mean that Kazuto was captured by the root. They might even potentially know that he has the Uchiha bloodline if he is used that way.

After that, I closed the chat. While to chat with someone I didn't need to do any actions and just had to think, I saw Naido-sensei calling on me.

But I did get more information. This person might have unlocked something like my Fuinjutsu or an S-rank jutsu to dump all their EXP into.

"We are by a bit. The exams are 4 months from now and we might have to extend our missions depending on the severity of the missions. You can apply for field promotion after a certain amount of missions."

I nodded at what he said, but I was still internally a little dissatisfied. The exams were a major part of the anime. Characters such as Orochimaru and Jiraiya would be introduced.

But that didn't bum me down too much. Sure rank was important but it's not like I had a lot to do during the exams. Skipping them might not be the worst case.
