After that happened Ebisu just walked confidently back to the crowd. Even smiling from time to time at the thought of his accomplishments. "Haha, I came to the top 7 I am a genius."
But everyone knew how lucky he was when it came to his opponents as he was just a one-trick phoney. Civilians don't have a lot of knowledge on tactics unless they are hardworking and read books just like Ebisu.
This is where people forget that he is a civilian too. All the losers just built a false sense of security in their minds to delude themselves to why he became top 7.
Meanwhile, Kakashi came back to the crowd with a bored look on his face like he had just gotten ridden of a fly. Most girls were blushing and talking amongst each other as he walked past with his hands in his pockets.
"HAHA, I would expect no less from my rival" Guy yelled.
"Nice Kakashi" Yokuma spoke calmly and politely.
But they soon all turned to the centre as two names were being announced.
"Last Shibi Aburame vs Asuma Sarutobi"
--POV Asuma--
Hehe, this is going to be easy. My dad's probably watching this so he can see what I am truly about. He is always busy with being Hokage. The old man never pays attention to me and always makes an excuse of being a Hokage.
But he will see now how hard his son's been working just as Yokuma tells me to do. Yokuma is the best to talk to when I am down.
Even Obito but is not as clever as Yokuma is so he doesn't know what to do in the situation except throw tantrums and annoy him. But Yokuma is reasonable so he tells me to work hard so my father acknowledges me.
When I become Hokage, Yokuma will definitely be my right-hand man. On the other hand, my Dad doesn't want me to become Hokage. When I ask him why he just tells me you will understand when you are older than the lying old man.
--POV Asuma End--
"Begin!"
Asuma just zoomed at Shibi at high academy level speed. Shibi kept his block up as he saw the left roundhouse coming to his head. But he quickly grabbed the ankle using the timing but felt it was too easy.
Using all the momentum Asuma could gather he twisted his hips as fast as he could. This resulted in Shibi's eyes going wide as he realised that this was the same move Yokuma used against Hisajami Hyuga.
Shibi's brain went haywire 'He is going to stop that kick and balance himself with the left foot or just land it" he thought.
Well.... it was none. Asuma never landed the kick but wrapped it around his neck as he lifted himself and put his bottom onto his face. This made Shibi fall down but before he landed head first. " Winner Asuma," Yamafumi said while supporting Shibi's head.
"Yeah! Come on Asuma Wooh" Obito and the rest cheered him on.
When Asuma was back with the crowd Obito said, "You could beat Hisajami with that improved version of Yokuma's"
Yokuma just nodded and smiled but inwardly 'Not bad, I wanted to use that move against him to but I am afraid it won't work... Nothing you do would work, just the look in his eyes says it all.
'He is fighting for something, yearning for something, and he knows what he wants to achieve'

"First Asuma Sarutobi Vs Might Guy"

I am afraid Guy is going to win this one. He has more stamina, speed, strength and technique. I see Guy beating him 9/10 unless Asuma pulls something off which is unlikely but not impossible.
As soon as Yamafumi said begin Asuma pulled back which is of course the most logical move even if your opponent knows your going to do it. Guy expected this for sure.
Hmm, interesting, Guy steps back too probably to probe his patterns. His brain really does switch on in a fight. it's like he was hard-wired to only turn serious when fighting.
I just watched both their movements and Asuma started to crouch lower and bend his knees to the max. Asuma using someone else's move yet again. I looked towards Hisajami and as I thought... He also was observing every movement in this match carefully and precise.
Before even Asuma tried launching himself Guy started running around as fast as could around his opponent. Nice move by Guy. The weakness of that move is that it can only travel at max speed in a straight line.
Turning would put a lot of strain on your muscles. But even then the pain itself would slow you down unless you have a lot of tolerance. Asuma tried launching himself out of the centre but it didn't work too well.
Guy was already at the spot where Asuma was and kicked him to the body to push him back and also take his breath. This was a crucial move played by Guy as he already used a lot of stamina for the short sprint.
Everything comes at a price... That short straight-line launch may boost you up a notch but it takes your breath away. This mostly works on an opponent whose speed is on par with yours and not higher.
As I thought Guy just pushed back Asuma back to square one. A person of Asuma's calibre wouldn't have had a Plan B or C. Guy just didn't bother anymore as he leapt into the air and threw a roundhouse kick to the face.
Asuma blocked the kick with his right hand. But I knew that was the worst move he could have done...
*Crack*
"AAAH" Asuma screamed out as the kick directly hit snapped his wrist.
"Stop! The Winner is Might Guy!"
"Guy take him to the nurse's office for his fractured wrist," Yamafumi said.
That was inevitable. Guy and his strength. Even I can barely block a few without starting to feel numb. Now it's time for Kakashi and this Hyuga prodigy.
I know Kakashi will win but this guy's got smarts. He is also very meticulous. Unlike Kakashi who just goes with the flow with his genius intellect and innate talent.
"Last Kakashi Hatake Vs Hisajami Hyuga"
Analysing them both it seems even Kakashi is going to be cautious in this match. A normal person wouldn't notice but he is walking a bit slower than usual and his hands are not loosely in his pockets.
He is probably thinking of a lot of plans and his gentle fist. The feeling of protecting your insides than your outside is a totally different experience. You think too much on the gentle fist itself rather than him.
Now the good part is finally starting. Kakashi will you do what I think you will do hmm.
When the teacher said Begin Kakashi instantly launched himself to the Hyuga...
*BAM* *THUD*
Frozen... Silence... Expressions of disbelief were posted on everyone's faces after that beautiful display of overwhelming speed.
Hisajami just went flying to the other side. He never even had a chance to show of his skill set. Excellent... I couldn't have done that better myself.
After that, he just walked back with a bored look on his face while everyone gazed at him with gobsmacked expressions. But I saw his sweat glands working on overdrive. He never underestimated him so he went near the max speed.
But soon I saw someone running out at max speed in a green jumpsuit.
"Am I in ti-" He originally wanted to be in time for the match but as soon as he saw Hisajami going back to the crowd with an indifferent expression he jumped in joy.
"That's my rival!" He yelled while going back to stand next to Kakashi and me.
"Now it's a fight for the top 1 position Kakashi vs Guy," Yamafumi said.

Guy stared at Kakashi's bored eyes with an optimistic expression.
"Kakashi! Make sure to give me a good fight" Guy shouted in an expectant voice.
"Begin!"
This time Guy launched himself into the air and threw multiple roundhouse kicks to the body. Kakashi blocked those while squinting with one eye indicating how heavy those kicks were.
"Come on Kakashi! Hiyaa" Guy yelled as he pulled his leg back to throw an axe kick to the scalp.
This alerted Kakashi as he swiftly dodged around the back to put his hand on the left leg while he was in the air.
While Guy was being pulled he just swung his right over to Kakashi's face which resulted in Kakashi grabbing both now.
Guy then got slammed down onto the floor with both legs held by Kakashi. But surprisingly Guy arched his back outwards and wrapped his hands around Kakashi's ankle.
To which he then let go of Guy's legs. This made Guy go in a sit-up position with his around his opponent's. Kakashi just smirked as he grabbed the back of his neck and punched it repeatedly with the other hand.
Guy tried pulling the leg only to find his neck being used as support to pull himself up. It was checkmate.
Yamafumi quickly flickered to the centre as he stopped the brawl.
"The winner of this tournament and the number 1 contestant is Kakashi!" He shouted with praise to which then some cheered or looked with jealousy.
