Chapter 100!

"Come on Haku, let's get out of the way," Fuyōna said before he flashed a smile at Fugaku.

"We will also take Hattori to the medics." He said as he turned his gaze to Yuri, who was still sitting beside him.

"I'm coming with him." She said, not willing to take no for an answer.

Fuyona agreed and formed an ice mirror for the four of them to enter, not bothered if she wanted to stay by his side or not.

"Alright, let's go." He said as he picked Hattori up and carried him into the ice mirror, with both Yuri and Haku following.

Fugaku watched as they all entered the jutsu before it melted, turning into a simple puddle of water on the soft ground.

He tried not to think on it for too long before he turned his attention back towards the exam, trying to gauge all of the remaining finalists who were left.

Now only kimimaro and Iseto remained on their squad. Only Botan remained from Hattori's squad with Tomo and Seno being left of Haku's squad, Rokuro had done his best but had run into both Horime and Muse, deciding that surrender was his best bet.

Chika, Muse, and Horime were now the only full squad left, having been able to stay out of most of the fighting and capture both flags from Haku's squad as they made their way back to their base.

"Looks like that kid didn't want the smoke," Muse said through his rebreather, referring to Rokuro.

"I can't blame him, after all, two on one is unfair and with no teammates left to help he was just a sitting duck out here," Horime said as she and Muse both dashed across the open meadow towards their base.

"Yeah, if it were up to me I would have killed him anyway." Muse said under his breath.

Horime heard what he said, but pretended she didn't and paid no notice to him.

Soon both of them made it to the cliffside and jumped down as Chika came into view.

"Looks like she lost our flag," Muse said as he noticed it was gone.

Chika could see both of her squadmates returning, each carrying a flag on their back.

"Oh wow, you got two flags?" She asked, seeming impressed.

"Yeah, they never even saw us coming," Horime said with a smug grin on her face.

Both of them took the flags from their backs and placed them down on the ground. Now that they were in the base they had to stay there until an enemy moved them, as were the rules of the exam.

"What happened to our flag?" Muse asked, knowing that with Chika's abilities she should have been able to fight off most attackers.

"Don't worry. I'm going to get it back." She said as she downed the rest of her water bottle, giving a loud sigh before she darted off at good speed.

Muse watched as she ran off, getting a good feel for where she was going.

"I'd better go with her." He said, not looking at Horime.

"H-Hold on a moment! Am I supposed to just stay here by myself!" Horime shouted, clearly not happy about it.

"Just hold down the fort, as long as we can hold onto both flags we can't lose." He said before he ran after Chika, leaving Horime alone.

Muse did his best to keep up with Chika, who seemed to be running as if she was on a warpath.

"Slow down!" Muse shouted.

But Chika didn't listen.

"Hurry up! I'm going to get my revenge on those two for making a fool of me!" She shouted as she dashed up the cliffside, moving with skill.

Muse wasn't sure what had happened, but he could piece together that she had been defeated and the flag stolen. And know she was going to get revenge on whoever had done it.

"I'm glad I'm not on her bad side." He said as he jumped to the top of the cliff and entered the forest that followed, unknowingly heading towards Kimimaro's base.

Meanwhile...

Botan of the hidden waterfall had done as instructed by Hattori and Gogi, staying with their flag while they went on the offensive. However, they had now been gone for a long time now, meaning that something must have happened to them.

"I know I already have a flag, but I can't just sit around and do nothing for the entire exam." He said as he kicked a small rock on the ground.

"Screw this, I'm going." He then said after a moment.

"I want a chance to prove myself after all." He said to himself before he took off, heading out across the rive before jumping onto the bank and running across the grassland.

Botan followed the river downstream for a while until he came to a small shore of rocks and pebbles, seeing that there had been a battle not long ago taking place.

"Looks like there was a fight," he said as he examined some of the kunai and scorch marks on the ground.

"Whoever it was, there is no sight of them anymore, and their flag is gone." He said as he stood back to his full height.

"Guess I'll keep looking." he then said as he took off again, leaving what was Haku's base behind.

Seno and Tomo had escaped from the battle between Haku and Hattori, with Yuri simple letting them go, not bothered so long as they didn't try to interfere with the fight.

Seno was still a little worried about Haku, not being able to help feel some emotion towards him as he gave them a chance to escape.

Seno looked over at Tomo a little nervously, after all, they may have been on the same team for this exam, but they were still from different villages.

"I'm sure he is fine." Tomo of the hidden grass spoke, as if he had read her mind.

"We must do our best to honour his sacrifice by capturing another flag and passing this exam," he said as the two of them continued to run through the forest.

Seno nodded as she agreed with him, regaining her focus before she looked up ahead. However, her eyes opened wide as she turned around, getting a sense of an extremely powerful chakra coming from where Haku was.

"W-What is that chakra?" She muttered as she even stopped running so she could try and focus.

"What is it, Seno?" Tomo asked as he noticed her distress.

"S-so big... Whoever that chakra belongs to... There is so much of it." She said as her knees started to shake.

Tomo couldn't feel anything, but he could tell by Seno's distress that whatever it was, it wasn't good.

"Wait! It-Its gone!" She then said, confused as to what had just happened.

Tomo was also confused but decided they should press on, knowing that no good would come of waiting around.

"Alright," Seno said as she turned her attention back to their mission, running further into the forest with Tomo.

Currently, both Kimimaro and Iseto waited back at their base having seen no sign of Yuri coming back from her patrol.

"What the hell is she playing at, going off like that?" Iseto shouted as he paced up and down.

Kimimaro simply sat with his legs crossed as he waited.

"I don't think she is coming back." He said, looking to Iseto.

Iseto turned around to look at Kimimaro, and then back to the two flags they had captured.

"She didn't even help capture the flags, and now she runs away from us?" He said getting even more pissed off.

"Well whatever, we don't need her. With mine and your strength, there is no one who can beat us." Iseto said as he flicked his hair from his face before giving Kimimaro a thumbs up.

Kimimaro smiled before he stood to his feet.

"There is not long left now. If we can defend our flags then we will stand a good chance of passing the exam." He said.

Iseto agreed with him knowing that having two flags was a good advantage, even if he did want to capture more.

Suddenly Kimimaro looked up, being able to sense that someone was approaching.

"Get ready Iseto, someone is coming." He said, giving his teammate a warning.

"I found you!" A voice shouted from the distance before its owner pounced down from the trees, shooting a barrage of water bullets from the tip of her fingers.

"Look out!" Kimimaro shouted as he quickly dashed out of the way and behind cover.

Iseto did the same as he quickly ran and vaulted over a tree stump on the ground, taking cover behind it.

"What the hell, its this crazy bitch again!" Iseto said as he got a quick look at Chika, before he was forced to take cover again as a water bullet almost took his head off.

"I've come to settle the score for what you did to me boys!" She shouted as she seized fire for the moment.

"Oh and I'll be taking those flags with me too." She then said as she raised her hand up like a gun.

Kimimaro did his best to judge the situation, knowing that they held the advantage here thanks to the cover that the forest provided. Still, Chika relied on water and staying hydrated, and with the large trees providing plenty of shade from the harsh sun, combined with the surrounding water, she would prove to be quite a nuisance.

"Things won't play out like the last time!" She said as she took aim, pointing her finger towards Kimimaro who was taking cover behind a tree.

"Bang." She said as she fired a concentrated water bullet, watching as it ripped through the thick wood before hitting Kimimaro in the side of the head.

"Gotcha."

Kimimaro's body hit the floor with a thump, causing Chika to form a smug grin on her face. However, her smile soon faded as his body burst into smoke, being replaced by a log.

"A substitution!" She shouted as she turned around trying to find where he had gone to.

"It's no use Kimimaro, You can't hide from me forever!" She said, knowing that his fighting style would be pretty much useless against her Hozuki abilities.

Iseto also watched as Kimimaro was replaced by a substitution jutsu, smiling a little as he turned to keep an eye on Chika.

Suddenly Chika noticed a storm of projectile bone bullets rain down from the top of the trees. They seemed to come from many different directions and she had little choice other than to let them hit her, feeling them pass through her liquid body harmlessly.

"Is that really the best you can do!" She said, laughing as his attack had no effect.

Kimimaro knew that her abilities would make this another challenging fight, and this time she wouldn't fall for the paper bomb trick.

"I can't just sit back and watch!" Iseto said as he started to form hand signs before he jumped over the stump he was taking cover behind.

"Fire style, fireball Jutsu!" He said as he unleashed a large blast of fire toward Chika who was currently focused on Kimimaro's distraction.

Chika turned around at the site of the fireball coming towards her and quickly formed her own hand signs as she erected a water wall for protection.

Both the fire and water clashed, forming an intense burst of hot steam that covered the area, taking Chika from both of their sights.

"Hidden mist jutsu!" She said as she used the steam to her advantage, creating a cover of thick mist that she would use as cover to attack from.

Iseto watched as the mist came towards him, growing thicker and thicker as it distorted his vision.

"What the hell is this?" He asked, never having seen the technique before.

All shinobi in the hidden mist were taught the technique in the academy, being forced to learn the technique that their homeland was named after. After all, being able to use and fight in the mist was very important for them coming from a place called the village hidden in the mist.

Chika knew that Kimimaro wouldn't have much problem finding his way through her mist, however, Iseto on the other hand would have no idea what to expect and would make for an easy target.

Kimimaro watched from the tree line, knowing that Iseto would be a sitting duck in the mist Jutsu.

"I can't sit back anymore." He said as he took a crouching position, trying to think of a way to defeat Chika's Hozuki water style.

Iseto couldn't see a thing now as the mist grew so thick that he even started to lose his sense of direction.

"Shit." He said, pulling a kunai from his weapons pouch as he got ready to defend himself.

"I can't see a thing." He said, taking a small step back as he looked for the stump he knew should be behind him somewhere.

"If I can get my bearings, I might be able to launch a counter-attack." he thought.

"Going somewhere?" Chika's voice suddenly whispered in his ear, causing his eyes to open wide in surprise.

"Argh!" Iseto shouted as he turned around, swinging his kunai in an attempt to hit her with it.

However, his attack burst through Chika's body as it turned to water on impact, causing him to be sucked into her body.

"Water style, water prison jutsu!" She said as she used her body to encase him in a large sphere of water.

"Oh no!" Iseto shouted as he felt the water surround him, pouring in all at once forcing him to take one last deep breath of fresh air before the water filled up the sphere.

Chika simply stepped out of the water as only her hand remained connected to the jutsu so she could control it.

"I got you." She said with a wicked smile.

Iseto tried his best to break free from the water prison, however, it was too tough to break, and he only resulted in wasting energy from his movements.

"It's no use. This water prison is stronger than steel." Chika said as she brushed her wet hair from across her face.

"I told you that our fight was not over." She then said showing him her sharp teeth through a grin.

"I'd give you another two minutes at best. After that, you will drown." She said, not seeming to care at all.

Iseto couldn't believe that he had been trapped in this Jutsu.

"Darn it... If only I was stronger." He thought as he looked around again, hoping he would see a way to break free.

"It's no use... Only a lightning-style attack would be enough to break free from this Jutsu. And even then I would fry myself if I used it from in here."

"It's over," Chika said, knowing that his air was about to run out, relishing in the moment that he would surcome to her jutsu.

Suddenly a barrage of kunai hit the ground in a perfect circle all around Chika, catching her attention.

"What in the?" She thought as she turned her head to look.

Her eyes went wide as she noticed that they were not ordinary kunai. No, these kunai all had paper bombs wrapped around them, meaning she was about to take a powerful blast from ground zero, with enough explosive power to even damage her liquid body if she didn't move out of the way.

"Darn it!" She shouted as she quickly pulled her hand out of the water prison, being forced to break the jutsu as she jumped into the air at the last second so she didn't get caught in the explosion.

However, the said explosion didn't seem to happen as all of the kunai burst into smoke, showing they were only bones that had been transformed into kunai.

"A transformation jutsu used on bones!" Chika shouted, enraged that she had been played like a fool.

Iseto was freed from the water prison and took a huge breath of fresh air, gorging on it as he tried to catch his breath.

Suddenly Kimimaro appeared next to him, helping him to his feet before jumping off and making a tactical retreat while Chika watched from above.

"Damn that Kimimaro." She said as she lifted her thumb to chew on her nail. Using the time to think before she chased after them.

"That was a smart move man," Iseto said as he and Kimimaro took cover behind another tree trunk.

"Thanks. I knew that she would be on guard from taking any more damage from explosive tags, I simply used that to our advantage." He said as he looked from behind the tree, making sure the coast was clear.

"Besides, none of my attacks would have been effective enough to free you from the water prison jutsu. We need to find a way to counter her water style. Any chance you know how to use the lightning style?" Kimimaro then asked.

"No. If I could, I would have used it by now." iseto said as he checked his weapons pouch.

"I'm also running low on explosive tags." he then said.

Kimimaro nodded.

"I'm already out." He said as he once again took a crouching position as he leaned back against the tree.

"The only way I can think to damage her is to expose her body to a large amount of heat," Kimimaro said.

Iseto looked at him forming a large smile as he did.

"Well, your talking to the right guy." He said as he pointed to himself with his thumb.

"If you can distract her for long enough, I can blast her with a powerful fire jutsu," Iseto said watching as Kimimaro stood up.

"Alright. Let's do it." Kimimaro said as he turned around to take another look if Chika had come to attack them yet.

"Looks like she is still waiting for us, she knows we won't leave the flags behind," Kimimaro said.

Iseto scoffed.

"Not in her dreams."

"Alright then, let's take the attack to her," Kimimaro said as he was about to dash off.

"watch out!" Iseto suddenly shouted as Muse of the hidden rain appeared from point-blank range, having been able to sneak up on them both using his camouflage jutsu.

"I'll finish you before you get the chance!" Muse shouted as his kunai slit through the air towards Kimimaro's throat.

However, bones sprung from Kimimaro's chest and shoulders, defending him from Muse's sneak attack.

"So fast!" Muse said as he was only just able to react in time in order to avoid being skewered.

"When did he!" Iseto also said as he tried to attack Muse, quickly darting towards him with his fist raised.

Muse, however, quickly threw a poison smoke bomb onto the ground, using it to make his escape as he activated his camouflage jutsu once more to disappear.

"It would seem he can mask his entire being with that jutsu." kimimaro said as he allowed his bones to retract.

"Yeah, that's a tricky one, I mean he got that close to us without us even knowing, how the hell are we supposed to fight someone we can't see!" Iseto said as he tried to keep an eye out in case of another attack.

"I found you!" Chika's voice suddenly blurted out from above as she dived down towards them at speed.

"Looks like he isn't the only one to worry about," Iseto said as he looked at Kimimaro.

"Let's stick to the plan," Kimimaro said before he fired a round of bone bullets at Chika in an attempt to slow her down.

"I'm on it!" Iseto shouted as he quickly jumped back into the air, performing a well-executed backflip as he did.

Kimimaro watched as hit bone bullets simply passed through Chika's body once more, having no effect.

"Here I come!" She yelled as she crossed her arms over her face, smashing into the ground and causing a large explosion of water to erupt from where she hit the ground.

Kimimaro quickly jumped out of the way, watching as Chika's body reformed itself before she flew towards him, ready to attack with everything she had.

"You may be a taijutsu wiz, but you don't stand a chance against me!" She shouted.

Kimimaro smiled as he allowed his bones to spring from his body, suddenly twisting around as fast as he could. His attack slashed at Chika over and over again, ripping her body to shreds as it turned to water to allow the attacks to have no effect.

Chika may have been invulnerable to physical attacks, but her body still needed time to pull back together before she could form an attack herself.

Kimimaro quickly pressed on the attack, pushing even harder as he planted his hand onto the floor in order to spin his legs around, quickly switching hands so he could continue his attacks in an almost unlimited fashion.

It almost looked as if he was break dancing from the way he was moving, however, this was a form of taijutsu that Fuyona had taught to him, one which allowed him to utilize his entire body as a weapon by mastering the art of continuous movement. Of course, it was only so effective due to his kekkei genkai, allowing him to grow bones pretty much anywhere on his body to attack with whenever he wanted.

Chika was overwhelmed by the sudden barrage of attacks, not being able to form into her solid form to launch a counter-attack.

"He's so fast! How can he attack me like that!" She thought as his bones continued to chip away at her body.

There was a reason all Hozuki clan members carried around a large water bottle most of the time. They had to stay as hydrated as possible in order to maintain their body's ability to turn to liquid. It may have provided immunity to physical attack, but each time it was hit, some of the water in a Hozuki's body would be lost, in fact, dehydrating them over time the more they came under attack.

Usually, this was so little that they never had to worry about it, always being able to counter or finish the fight due to their opponent not being able to react fast enough.

Kimimaro, However, was the exception to that. never before had she seen a taijutsu form like it, being pressed on the defensive and even being forced to retreat away so she could counter his attacks.

"This guy really is a monster!" She thought as his body acted as the perfect weapon.

"No! If he keeps this up I won't be able to liquify anymore." She thought to herself as she pulled back, doing her best to avoid his never-ending attacks.

Muse was forced to watch from the shadows, using his camouflage jutsu to try and wait for the perfect chance to strike.

"That kid really is a monster... With a body like that, I won't even be able to get close." He thought as he looked around, seeing Iseto hiding above the tree line.

"You, However. I will be more than enough to take out."

Meanwhile...

Botan had continued across the landscape, having come across traps and more battle sites.

So far he had failed to find anyone from another squad, never mind another flag that he might be able to capture.

Still, he did his best to not let it dampen his spirit, continuing to plod on as he searched for the objective of the exam.

Soon enough Botan came across a large meadow leading to what looked like a large cliff when he finally spotted what he was looking for.

"Alright, I finally found an enemy base and they have not one but two flags!" He said to himself as he kept a lower position, doing his best to remain hidden.

Botan slowly made his way closer and closer to the enemy base, making sure to keep an eye out for traps, until he got close enough to see Horime.

Horime was currently pacing around with her arms folded over her chest, muttering something about being left behind to guard the flags. Something that Botan knew about all too well.

"So she's here by herself." Botan thought as he assessed the situation, knowing that if he could take her by surprise then he would be able to steal both flags, as long as her squadmates didn't return.

Botan slowly pulled out a kunai from his weapons pouch, tying a line of wire around it with his free hand.

"Alright, here goes nothing." He said as he took his position, getting ready to make his move.

"Now!" He said in his head, quickly tossing the kunai towards Horime, who had no idea of the incoming attack.

Horime turned around still in her own little world as the kunai wizzed right past her, causing her to stiffen as her body went into alarm mode.

However, it was too late, Botan tugged on the wire, causing the kunai to pull right and wrap around her body multipul times until the wire wrapped tightly around her arms and body.

"Got you!" Botan said as he pulled the wire, forcing Horime to the ground before he jumped out and placed a kunai to her neck.

"Surrender, and I will let you live." He said.

Horime suddenly started screaming, kicking her legs around as she failed to hear his words.

"How dare you! Let me go! Somebody help me!!!" She cried, paying no attention to Botan's threats whatsoever.

"Hey! I said be quiet!" Botan shouted as this time he placed the kunai against her neck so she could feel the blade press against her skin.

This shut her up, getting the reaction that Botan was looking for.

"That's better. Now, no hard feelings, but I will be taking your flags." He then said as he pulled out more wire to wrap around her legs, making sure she would be bound tightly, along with gagging her so she couldn't scream.

"Alright, time to steal these flags."

Meanwhile...

Iseto watched as Kimimaro danced around with amazing speed and skill, not even letting Chika take a breath as he cut and slashed at her with a never-ending flurry of blows.

"Wow... I didn't know he could fight like that." He thought, continuing to watch as he waited for his chance.

"Just a little more and she won't be able to avoid my attack, just gotta wait for the right moment..."

Iseto suddenly felt a strange tingle down his spine telling him to duck, not a second later A cold blade passed over his head, cutting a strand of his hair as he did, signalling that he would have been done for if not for the strange tingle.

"You!" Iseto said as Muse's camouflage faded.

"How did you dodge that attack!" Muse shouted in surprise, quickly reaching into his weapons pouch for a poison smoke bomb.

"Not so fast!" Iseto said as he threw a handful of shuriken, causing Muse to deflect the oncoming projectiles.

"To easy!" He said through his respirator, quickly reaching his hand for the poison smoke bomb again.

"Your tricks won't work on me again," Iseto said as he pulled both of his arms towards him, revealing the hidden thread that he had attached to the shuriken.

"What the!" Muse shouted in protest as the wire wrapped around his arms and legs tightly, binding him in place as he stood helplessly.

"It's over for you," Iseto said as he placed his hands together, forming a tiger hand seal.

Muse remained quiet, before bursting out laughing.

"no kid. It's over for you!" He said as he suddenly burst into smoke, switching out with a substitution.

Iseto felt the tingle in his spine again, however, he was too slow to move out of the way of the strike that came from Muse, feeling the cold steel cut down his face and draw blood.

"Argh!" Iseto shouted as he stepped back, clutching his face with his hands as blood poured out from the wound.

Muse wasn't done there though and quickly stepped in shuffling sideways as he smashed a stepping side kick into Isetos chest, sending him flying back from the force of it where he slammed against the tree trunk behind him.

"And here I thought you were supposed to be one of the mighty Uchiha. I guess talk is cheap when you are faced with a real shinobi!" Muse said, mocking Iseto as he watched him whimper.

Iseto could feel the pain flow through his body, especial in his chest where Muse had landed that powerful kick, feeling as if h had even broken something.

Iseto slowly let go of his face, with his eye sight coming back to him slowly as he wiped the blood from it. The cut was deep, but luckily for him, Muse had missed his eye cutting all the way down his face.

"You..." Iseto said as he slowly picked himself up.

"I could have lost my eyes..." He said, feeling his knees shake from the effort he was placing his body under.

Muse laughed, tossing a poison bomb up and down in his hand as he waited for Iseto to get up, wanting to toy with him as much as he could before he finished him.

"Yeah, yeah kid. What you gonna do about it!" Muse shouted as he tossed the poison smoke bomb towards him, watching as it bounced and slowly rolled over to his feet before it burst.

"I'm bored toying with you, just die already," he said as he turned his back on him, activating his camouflage Jutsu and disappearing.

Iseto watched as the poison smoke bomb rolled towards his feet before bursting.

"It's poison..." He thought as he held his breath, knowing that one mouth full of it would be enough to take him out.

"Who the hell does this guy think he is... He thinks he can just cut my face and leave me here like this... He thinks he can cut my face!" Iseto thought as the words in his head got louder.

"I don't think so!" Iseto suddenly shouted as he looked up, showing that his eyes had changed from black to a deep red as his Sharingan awoke.

Muse heard Iseto's battle cry and turned to see what he planned on doing, knowing that he wouldn't be able to see him with his camouflage activated.

"What the hell is this kid doing now?" He thought, watching as he ran through the cloud of poison smoke, heading right towards him.

"hang on a second, there is no way he could know I was here!" Muse thought as Iseto continued to run directly towards him.

"No way!" He then said as Iseto threw a handful of shuriken right at him, forcing Muse to jump out of the way.

"He can see me!"

"I can see you!" Iseto shouted as he looked directly at Muse with both of his eyes, showing his two Tomoe Sharingan in each of them.

"Is that the?" Muse started to say before Iseto appeared behind him, moving faster than he thought he could.

"When did he?"

"Take this!" Iseto shouted as he kicked Muse in the head, knocking him flying through the air and forcing him to lose his camouflage.

"Arrghhh!" Muse grunted as he hit the ground hard, sliding along it before he stopped in a heap.

"How is this possible?" He said as he tried to pull himself up, looking up as Iseto who suddenly appeared behind him.

"You're gonna pay for marking this face!" He shouted before kicking Muse in the face again, knocking him into the air.

Muse grunted in pain as he flipped backwards twice before crashing into the ground.

"I won't lose to a kid like you!" He suddenly shouted as he shot back up, enraged at what was going on all of a sudden.

However, Iseto quickly appeared next to Muse again, punching him in the face with a hard right cross, knocking his rebreather from his mouth.

"Here, have another one!" Iseto said as he stepped forwards and punched Muse again, this time with his left.

Muse felt his head twist back, causing him to feel the whiplash from the neck movement.

"Arghh!" Muse roared as he turned around, trying to counter-attack with his own punch.

However, Iseto was quick to block it by deflecting it down before he ducked under another punch and then sidestepped a push kick attempt aimed at his chest.

Iseto quickly kicked Muse's foot as he stepped to the side, sweeping it from under him as he took him off balance, getting ready to deliver another kick to the head.

"Take this!" He said as he took a large step, opening up his hips so he could twist his entire body into the roundhouse kick.

Muse's face collided with Isetos foot and shin, feeling his jaw and eye socket break from the impact before he was sent flying back as he rolled across the ground like a rag doll.

Iseto whipped the blood from his face again as it continued to leak out, watching as Muse struggled to his hands and knees in an attempt to get back up.

"T-T...That's it! I'm going t-to finish this once and for all!" Muse shouted as he picked himself up, having to twist his jaw back into pace before he placed his hands together.

"Secret black rain Jutsu!" He said as he made the hand signs.

Iseto watched with his Sharingan, instantly being able to see all of the hand signs, watching and waiting to see what would happen.

As the name of the jutsu implied, black rain started to fall from the gaps in the trees, covering everything it touched in a thick black substance.

Iseto wiped some of the black rain off of his clothes, giving it a sniff before looking back to Muse.

"What the hell is this stuff?" Iseto thought before he looked up at Muse, seeing that it had turned into a downpour, covering the both of them in the black ooze.

"I'm done with you! I'm done with all of this! If I'm going to lose here, then I'm taking you with me!" He said as he suddenly pulled out a demon shuriken, letting it open to reveal that it was covered in paper bombs.

"Wow... That's one serious bit of artillery." Iseto said as he braced himself, taking a defensive stance.

"It's over for you now. It doesn't matter what this thing touches, once it explodes everything here will be destroyed in an instant! Now die!!!" Muse screamed as he threw the demon shuriken, aiming it right at Iseto.

Iseto watched with his Sharingan, waiting until the last moment, only moving at the very last second as he needed the large shuriken to be as close as it could be to him. With amazing timing he quickly tossed a kunai through the circle handhold of the shuriken, ducking under it as he did.

"It doesn't matter if you dodge it, you're still gonna get blown to hell! In fact, we will both die together!!!" Muse shouted as he waited for the shuriken to hit the first thing it came into contact with, knowing that once it exploded, it would trigger a huge explosion, setting his black rain on fire that was in fact some kind of flammable oil, causing a chain reaction that would incinerate everything that had been touched by his black rain.

"Now!" Iseto shouted as he caught the kunai he had thrown through the hoop of the shuriken, pulling tight on it, letting the wire that he had passed through it pull the shuriken away from the tree it was about to hit.

"In that case, you can have it back!" Iseto shouted as he pulled with all of his might, spinning around and unleashing the demon shuriken back towards its owner with even more force.

"W-What the! No! You cant!" Muse shouted as he shook his hands in a plea for Iseto to stop.

However, it was too late and the last thing that Muse saw was his own shuriken cut through him, triggering the paper bombs to explode and create a blinding white light.

Fire engulfed the area, causing a chain reaction with the black rain that set anything that it had covered on fire in an instant, causing a huge shock wave to erupt that levelled the entire area due to the intense heat.

"Shit..." Iseto said as he watched the fire from the explosion come his way in slow time thanks to his Sharingan, travelling towards him with a fury he had never seen before.

Iseto did the only thing he could do as he covered his head with his arms, knowing that there was nothing else he could do before the shock wave consumed him.

Meanwhile, Kimimaro was still fighting with Chika, keeping her on the defence as he pressed his never-ending assault.

"What the hell is Iseto doing, he needs to use his fire-style attack now before she figures out a way to counter me." Kimimaro thought as he flipped in the air, performing a perfect butterfly kick that he chained into more flipping and acrobatic movements.

Chika couldn't even move as each and every time she tried to counter or getaway, Kimimaro seemed to attack her, slashing and cutting her with his bones.

She could already tell that the effect of it was draining her body of too much fluid, knowing that if he kept this up she would no longer be able to maintain her liquid form.

"I only have one option." Chika thought as she watched Kimimaro twirl his arms and feet, attacking with a large amount of bone that was sticking out of his back.

Chika suddenly pressed forwards, allowing her body to become a full mass of water, drawing on every last drop of it in her body so that she could fully engulf Kimimaro.

"Hozuki style, full water body prison!" She shouted, activating her jutsu as her very body became a water prison that captured Kimimaro.

Kimimaro did his best to fight it, cutting and slashing at every angle he could, allowing his entire body to sprout bones in an attempt to stop her, however, it was no use and his effects had been in vain as they passed through the water.

"I've got you now!" Chika said as her face swirled around the water prison, smiling at Kimimaro who simply remained still holding his breath.

"Looks like she got me..." kimimaro said as he slowly allowed his bone to retract, knowing it would do no use in using more chakra than he needed to.

"There is only one way I can escape this jutsu... But I didn't want to use it here." He said to himself, knowing he would have to use the power of the three tails if he wanted to escape.

"It's over Kimimaro! I win." Chika said as she allowed her body to take solid form outside of the water prison, keeping only her hand inside the water.

"I'm sorry Father... But I have no choice." Kimimaro said to himself as he closed his eyes, preparing to call upon the power of the three tails inside of him best he could.

Chika felt so confedent now that she had captured him, she failed to notice the black rain that had started fallig around her, until a small drop of it fell on her arm, distracting her from her enjoyment of Kimimaro's struggle.

"What is that?" She said as she looked at the strange black substance.

Suddenly more of it started to fall in a small downpour, causing it to mix into the water prison and cover her body.

Kimimaro opened his eyes as he felt the water prison start to weaken, watching as the strange black rain mixed with the water, seeming to make it thicker.

"Is this... Is this oil!" Chika said in shock, knowing that if so it would affect not only her jutsu but her ability to liquify, making her body too heavy to change properly.

"NO!" She shouted as Kimimaro took his chance, summoning all of the bones around his bone to burst out all at once.

He had been right in his assessment, also coming to the conclusion that the oil mixing with the water would change its structure and allow him to escape the Jutsu.

"Argh!" Chika shouted as he burst free with one of his bones hitting her arm and turning it to a soggy light blue water.

"Oh no... I can't hold my form." She said, watching as her arm was unable to return to its solid-state due to the black rain mixing with her body.

"It would seem you are done for," Kimimaro said, knowing that this was now his win.

"No! it's not over!" She yelled as she was about to charge in for one last-ditch attempt at beating him.

"I wouldn't do that if I were you." Kimimaro countered though as he pointed a bone blade at her throat, knowing that it wouldn't take much to turn her into a pile of ooze right about now.

"I think you should give up," he said, giving her the chance to surrender before finishing her off. After all, they were both shinobi of the hidden mist.

Chika slowly lowered her head, feeling the extra weight in her neck as the oil had ruined her body's liquid mixture.

"Alright... You win... I surrender..." She said, lowering her head all the way.

Kimimaro nodded in satisfaction, slowly lowering his bone blade as he knew that the battle was his.

"Well, that takes care of that." Kimimaro said as he turned to look for Iseto.

-BOOM!!!-

Suddenly the explosion from Muse's jutsu hit home, causing the shock wave of intense flame to travel towards them both, only giving them a few seconds before the fire would engulf the both of them.

"What is that!" Chika shouted in terror as she watched the fire come her way, knowing that it would kill her in her current condition.

Kimimaros's eyes were also wide in shock as he watched the all-consuming fire from the explosion travel towards them, giving him only a second to react.

Kimimaro turned to look at Chika, diving towards her as he knew he only had one option to survive.

"Isobu! Lend me your power!" He yelled as he wrapped his body around Chika to shield her.

The intense fire suddenly washed over them, consuming everything that was covered in the black rain. The explosion was in fact so powerful that it totalled the entire forest area in the small diameter that the black rain had covered, wiping out everything.

Seno and Tomo had watched as the fire from the blast stopped just before them, only getting hit by the shock wave. However, the blast was still immensely powerful and was enough to knock both of them flying, doing massive damage as huge pieces of debris hit them.

The blast was so large that even the instructors, including both Hiruzen and Fuyona, were shocked by the destruction that it had caused.

"That's where Kimimaro was fighting..." Haku said as he watched by Fuyona's side in horror.

"Get a medical squad to that location immediately!" The Hokage shouted, giving the order without hesitation.

Fugaku also watched from a distance as he was forced to shield his face from the shock wave of the blast.

"How could a genin create such a powerful attack!" He shouted as the shock wave and heat from the blast finally subsided, allowing him to drop from his cover.

"All chunin report to that blast zone! I repeat I want everyone at that blast zone now!" Fugaku shouted through his radio, ordering all of the chunin to meet at that location as he too took off towards the area as quickly as he could.

Fuyōna also watched, thinking the worst as he saw the power of the explosion. He also knew that Kimimaro was at ground zero and that his chances of surviving a blast like that were slim to none at best.

"Stay here Haku," Fuyōna said in a serious tone.

Haku didn't see him get serious like that too often and knew it was best that he listens, even if he didn't want to.

"Y-Yes, sir."

"Lord Hokage, allow me." He said as he created an ice mirror for them both to travel through.

Hirzuen nodded before he followed Fuyōna through his ice mirror, something that his Anbu guard was not pleased about at all.

Both Fuyōna and the third Hokage stepped out onto the barren land that had once been a beautiful forest, seeing the devastation of the attack.

"To think that a genin was capable of such a jutsu." The Hokage said as he covered his nose from the smoke that was coming from the small pockets of fire that still burnt.

Fuyona could also feel the irritation from the fire and decided that he should do something about it.

"Ice style, cooling mist jutsu," he said as he placed his hands together, allowing his chakra to spread as a large cloud of mist started to form in the air, helping to cool the air down at a rapid rate and start to put all of the surrounding fire out.

"Lord Hokage!" A number of the chunin who were under Fugaku's orders shouted, arriving from the surviving forest area.

"Spread out and look for any survivors!" The Hokage shouted, giving the order at once.

"Yes sir!" They shouted before they quickly dispersed, doing as he asked.

Fuyōna let his mist disperse as the fire had now been put out.

Taking a good look around at the scorched land, he knew that anyone who had been in this area was most likely dead. Fearing the worst for Kimimaro.

"Sir! We have located two survivors that were outside of the blast zone." One of the chunin said as he appeared before the Hokage.

"Are they alive?" Hiruzen asked, giving the shinobi a serious look.

"Yes sir, but only just. We have medics working on them as we speak."

"Good, get them to the village hospital right away!" He shouted.

"At once sir!" The chunin said before he disappeared.

"Lord Hokage!" Fugaku said, finally arriving on the scene.

"Ah, Fugaku... Any news." Hirzuen asked.

"I'm afraid not." He responded before he looked at Fuyona.

"From what I could see, Muse of the hidden rain and Iseto of the Uchiha clan... Were both at Ground Zero of the blast... There is no trace of either of them." Fugaku said with a heavy heart at the loss of one of his own.

"Also, Kimimaro and Chika of the mist were caught in the blast zone... There is no sign of them either." Fugaku then said, breaking the news to Fuyona.

"I see," Fuyona said after a moment, keeping his emotions in check.

Hiruzen could tell that the loss of the boy weighed deeply on his heart, tilting his hat down over his eyes as he looked to the ground.

"Lord Hokage!" A voice suddenly shouted from the distance, alerting both Fuyōna and Fugaku as well.

"Sir over here, we found one!" One of the chunin shouted as he dragged Iseto Uchiha from under some debris.

Everyone quickly ran over to get a look, each of them more confused than the last.

"How is that possible," Hiruzen said as he got a good look at the boy.

"He doesn't have a scratch on him." The Hokage then said as he looked at each and every detail of the boy's body to make sure.

Fugaku also looked closely at his fellow Uchiha, noticing that even the cut on his face had vanished.

"It's a miracle, my lord." The chunin said as he rolled Iseto over to check his pulse.

"He's alive." He confirmed and removed his fingers from his neck.

"That shouldn't be possible." Fugaku then said as he crossed his arms.

That blast should have melted the boy's very bones." He said with a frown.

"Possible or not, the boy is alive Fugaku." The Hokage then said, noticing that Fugaku seemed to have something on his mind.

"Sir we have another one!" Another chunin shouted, alerting the three of them again.

"No, we have two!" He then shouted as he and another two chunin helped to remove some of the debris.

"What the hell is that?" One of them asked, seeing that both of them had been encased in extremely hard material.

Both Fugaku and Hiruzen looked just as confused as the chunin, not being able to explain what it was.

However, Fuyōna knew as soon as he saw it.

"It's coral." He said as he walked over to get a better look.

"He really did it." He then muttered to himself as he placed his hand on it.

"Sir, I'm afraid we can't get through whatever this is." One of the chunin then said as some of the others had tried to chip away at it with swords and kunai.

"Leave that to me." Fuyōna then said as he let his chakra pour into the coral, freezing it over slowly and causing it to crumble, revealing both Kimimaro and Chika who other than a few burn marks had made it out relitivatyly unharmed.

"Please move aside sir." Two of the medics said as they squeezed past Fuyōna so they could start tending to both of the genin's wounds.

Fuyōna did as they asked and moved out of the way, not being able to help the smile that formed on his face.

"He made it."

Alright going to end this chapter here!!! Boom that is chapter 100 ladies and gentlemen! I can't believe we have hit chapter 100. Never did I imagine when I started this fan fiction that it would come so far, with so many amazing supporters helping me along the way!

I dont know what else to say other than thank you for all of your support! This story is only just starting in my eyes. There is so much that I have planned that can and could happen, with the possibilities changing all the time!
