45 Reaping the rewards
It's been two days since Kuki and Hozuki won the rookie tournament. They've been resting at their lodging as they recover from their intense battles.

For the past few days I've been reflecting on my battle with the two samurais under Isane's wife.
They're the toughest opponent I've faced ever since reincarnating into the world of my favorite anime,I've noticed that they're a lot of things that I wasn't aware of over the past few years.Firstly,there's a lot more to kenjutsu and the land of Iron.
Moreover,one thing that've particularly captured my attention is people like Hozuki,Mizugestu,Hori who have enormous potential,comparable to the Konoha 13 not having appeared in the anime nor had any significant in Naruto's story,but the land of iron only appeared briefly in the franchise so them not appearing makes sense.
Speaking of Konoha,I've been chosen to be one of two samurai prospects to be sent to the hidden leaf for the exchange program due to Isane's recommendation to General Mifune.
Due to Hozuki and My victory I've proven myself to be capable,the funding for the 19th division got a 50% raise while me and Hozuki each got to choose a chakra weapon technique straight from general Mifune's personal catalog of techniques he had mastered.
Hozuki chosen a technique called "homing flying chakra blades", as the name implies,it is an advanced version of the typical flying chakra blades technique,the technique allows to user to control the trajectory of the chakra blades they've launched by utilizing the concept of chakra resonance,it's the the same concept as the technique Isane's wife used to defeat me,by moving the chakra within your sword at a frequency that matches the chakra frequency of the blades the user had sent out,the user can partially alter the blade's path by moving their sword in a similar fashion allowing the user to expand their battle tactics significantly.
Needless to say,the main reason that he chose this technique was because the technique sounded cool to him,gotta respect that.
However,there was one thing that Hozuki didn't consider before choosing the technique,we knew next to nothing about chakra resonance other than how much it wrecked our shit the last time we saw it used.
Fortunately for him,nothing else general Mifune had fit my style or caught my interest so I opted to cover for Hozuki's rash decision by choosing a scripture on the basics of chakra resonance.
As for the prize unique to first place,a favor from general Mifune,after some discussions we've decided to used that favor to recommend a collaborative relationship with Konoha since it's Hozuki's homeland and where I'll be going,having the samurai order be in a closer relationship with Konoha would benefit me and Hozuki greatly.
Enough about that,back to reflecting about the tournament,my skills have grown significantly due to the discovery of iron body Jutsu,a technique I developed in the midst of battle after observing the Hozuki clan distinct Hydrification technique,by channeling steel natured chakra through each of my cells giving them the properties of steel,massively increasing my endurance and strength.
Although the technique is powerful,it is still unstable since activating and maintaining it requires me to activate my byakugan and a lot of focus for a single mess up can be permanently damaging.
For the time being,waiting for the day I arrive at Konoha and finally meet Hanabi,I'll focus on honing my steel release and training the basic chakra resonance and possibly learning the technique Hozuki had chosen.
