2 on 1 isn’t fun

{Third day of the tournament}

"Ladies and gentlemen,it's time for our last matchup of the day!The battle between the 19th and 7th division!" The announcer shouted.

The crowd cheered loudly as the two teams walked into the arena.

Kuki casually walked in while Hozuki was sweating from all of the attention they were getting.

On the other side,only one guy walked in,it was the purple haired samurai Kuki pissed off in the Soba restaurant.

The crowd went wild because they knew of the abilities of the aforementioned samurai.

"What's this?Only one of the 7th division's representatives appeared!Baku Kagura,the prodigy samurai with the nickname "The Reaper" for his unique choice of weapon, had appeared without his partner Haru Tanaka?"The announcer said with excitement.

Looking at his opponent,Kuki suddenly recognized him as the guy he messed with yesterday.

"You…"Baku grunted as he glared at Kuki with a death stare.

"Yo Soba guy,where's your partner,did he abandon you??"Hozuki asked jokingly.

"I don't need Haru's hope to beat the likes of you weaklings "Baku boasted as he cracked his knuckles while dismissing Hozuki's teasing.

"Well enough wait,It's time to get this battle started!!!!"

"3,2,1 START!!!!"

As the announcer shouted,Hozuki pulled out his Katana while Kuki pulled out a few small knives.

On the other side of the arena the purple haired guy pulled out a Sickle with chains connecting it with a weight before spinning the sickle head around.

Hozuki's sword became enveloped with a blue aura as he changed in with a downward strike.

"Slow"Baku chuckled as he casually dodged to the side while swinging his weight at Hozuki's legs.Hozuki jumped back to dodge,all of a sudden,a chain wrapped around his sword causing it to be yanked away from his hand as he jumped backwards.

"Kuki, I need a sword "Hozuki shouted as he retreated.

Kuki ran out from behind Hozuki and threw small knives at Baku forcing him to block as he summoned a new katana for Hozuki and threw it to him.

"Aight thanks…wait,why did you put that weird doll symbol onto my sword!"Hozuki complained about the chibi Hanabi on his sword as Kuki went head to head with Baku holding small knives.

Kuki constantly shifts his body to avoid Baku's sickles by throwing knives in between his attacks.

"Gotcha"Baku smirked as his chains wrapped around Kuki.Baku swung Kuki around and slammed him into the ground.

Hozuki flows chakra into his legs and launches himself towards Baku,forcing him to untie Kuki to use his chains to defend Hozuki's barrage of sword swings while slowly being backed up towards the arena edge.

"Hozuki wait"Kuki said as he brushed off dust from his clothing.

"What?!"Hozuki replied hurriedly as he attempted to push Baku off stage.

"2 on 1 isn't much fun "Kuki said calmly as he rushed in.

"Kuki ,what do you me-"

"Steel release:pulling chains"Kuki mumbled while he made a triangle hand sign.

Chains appeared from the ground outside of the arena and wrapped around the unsuspecting Hozuki,pulling him slightly,moving his right leg out of the arena.Effectively eliminating him.

"Sorry Hozuki,I know this is a bad idea,but this fight is mine to finish"Kuki announced as a grin grew on his face.

"What nonsense is this-"Baku,who is absolutely flabbergasted added.

"WHAT JUST HAPPENED????DID HE JUST ELIMINATED HIS TEAMMATE?!?"The announcer screamed on the top of his lungs dramatically as the crowd went crazy.

"What is that kid thinking?"Isane sighed as General Mifune who was sitting next to him let out an amused chuckle.

All of this happened as Hozuki was still having trouble processing what had just happened.
