Chapter 7: The Curse of The Cursed Mark

Naruto's hand moves from its resting position to start forming hand seals. He looks into the eyes of all the shinobi in the room, noticing the shocked expressions on their faces. None of them dares to move a muscle after looking at the immediate wakening of the legendary eyes along with the forced evolution from a single to three tomoe in just a couple of seconds. The two normal ANBU don't move since they have never seen such a sight while the ROOT members don't move because of the implications of the actions of the person in front of them.

Kinoe immediately regains his bearings and moves his eyes downwards, covering them with his hands before Naruto can look into them and screams out for everyone to hear, "Sharingan, cover your eyes." He then disappears from view and calls out to the others in his cell, "Retreat, we must report this to Danzo-Sama."

Naruto then forms a series of hand signs as his tomoes begin to spin again,

"Genjutsu: Sharingan"

His killing intent then unfathomably multiplies as the two ROOT members in front of him find themselves unable to move at all. They only have one thought in their minds, "is this the true power of a fully matured Sharingan wielded by one with Uchiha blood?"

Then a sharp slash is heard followed by the two bodies of the ninja dropping to the floor with a kunai embedded in their hearts, dead before they even hit the floor with blood spilling out of their wounds and pooling around their bodies in huge amounts.

Kakashi then retreats towards his other two team members, "don't look into his eyes or that will happen to you too" he immediately warns as his two teammates look down, knowing to leave the upcoming fight to the two Sharingan wielders. But they are then immediately surprised by a loud scream as Naruto drops onto his knees on the floor and hods his two tiny palms on his eyes, trying to stop the blood flow.

He had just forcefully evolved and awakened Sharingan that were never supposed to be in his body and used one of their Genjutsu to freeze two ROOT level Shinobi who had huge amounts of willpower trained into them. He had also not completely healed from his escapade just 2 months ago and suffered from mental, physical and chakra exhaustion causing him to fall to the floor, unconscious.

The ANBU move towards him, looking carefully for any signs of a trap. Kakashi moves towards Naruto, noticing the blond hair reminding him of his sensei, he then shakes his head to clear it of any unnecessary thoughts during a mission. "Yugao, check him and bind him. We will take him to Hokage-Sama."

"Understood." Comes the steadfast reply as she moves towards the blond kid and begins to bandage his eyes, moving his hands away after putting multiple paralyses and chakra binding seals on him.

"Kukuku, we meet again do we Anko-chan?" comes the voice of Orochimaru as the three immediately fall into formation, kunai at the ready and look at the snake in front of them. "Unfortunately, I'm not really here, just a snake clone. But Boss is on his way, he'll be here soon enough"

"Hand me Naruto-kun" comes the bored yet sharp voice of the Sannin as he twirls a kunai in his fingers while leaning on the wall.

"What if we don't?" replies the challenging voice of the silver-haired Shinobi.

"You don't want to know." Says the clone simply.

"Unfortunately, we shall do no such thing."

"Ah, but you forget I control 2 of the people over there."

"What do you mean?"

Orochimaru then forms a single hand sign as he calls out

"Cursed seal of Heaven: Pain of the traitor"

Anko immediately drops to the floor, screaming her lungs out. Her hands frantically move to the seal on her neck. She continues screaming until Orochimaru's hands move away from the hand seal. She then lays there on the ground panting. Kakashi looks helpless at this scene, trying to find out a way to get his comrades out of the situation alive.

He looks towards Yugao and starts to issue orders using his eyes. 'Carry the blond, I'll take care of Anko. We will retreat.' He then immediately slings Anko over his shoulder. But Orochimaru was not satisfied with this decision.

"Well, then it seems like I have no choice but to stop Konoha from getting their hands on a precious test subject. Do you know why I have a curse mark? It ensures their loyalty by changing the brain and allows me to clean up after myself better. It also stops traitors and informational leaks. Anko's curse mark was incomplete, the first draft if you will, but I was able to finish my research with him here. The cursed seal ensured his loyalty to me, along with a self destruct button I can use at my discretion."

"Cursed seal of Heaven: Forced Suicide Jutsu"

Orochimaru completed this Jutsu with a couple of hand seals as his clone dissipates into snakes. Naruto's body, on the other hand, seems to not be faring as well. His curse mark suddenly begins to cover his body as the distinct smell of burning flesh begins to fill the room. All heads turn to the blond on the floor, even Anko looks at him with fright and pity in her eyes, sympathizing with him while realizing it could have been her in his place, thrown away like nothing but a sacrificial pawn. Naruto's skin begins to sizzle as the curse mark begins to kill him and destroy his body.
