61 Chapter-61

"Are you supposed to be a heroine? How can you be one if you hate a part of yourself? Whether you like it or not, girl, that left side is yours now. Your refusal to embrace this power reflects your insignificance, weakness, and vulnerability," were the cutting words of the Uzumaki, inciting spectators to shout against him. However, neither of the two teenagers paid any attention to the outcry.

"..." Shiori trembled, gripped by both cold and anger. The ice surrounding her slowly melted and evaporated as she exhaled a breath of steam and fixed a furious gaze on the shinobi who merely smiled mockingly.

"Why?" Naruto challenged defiantly, intrigued by what he was witnessing. The girl's right side remained ensconced in ice, but on her left side, the steam was replaced by small flames. "If you harbor such hatred... unleash that hatred against me! Show me what you've got! Unleash it on me as if I were your dear father! The one who turned you into this!" This last sentence was the trigger, and the stadium was engulfed in a spectacle of flames and freezing steam that spread in all directions.

"This is scorching!" exclaimed Uraraka, forced to shield herself with her arms against the overwhelming heat, along with her companions.

"Young Uzumaki, what are you doing?" All Might questioned with uncertainty as he observed the situation, baffled by Naruto's actions. Perhaps the young Uzumaki was provoking young Todoroki to elicit a stronger response, or there was a deeper reason behind this. But what could it be?

In the corner of the platform, Shiori found herself in an ecstatic state, her body divided into two elements – one side ablaze with intense flames that rose toward the sky, the other encased in ice that unleashed shards and icy gusts, chilling the audience to the bone.

"..." Shiori's eyes blazed with fury, her focus locked onto a single target – Naruto. Her hair, displaying two different hues, danced wildly with their respective elements. The red side was engulfed in fire, while the white side sparkled with shards of ice.

"..." In a strange twist, the image of the shinobi distorted and transformed, giving way to the person she loathed the most: her father.

Enraged, the teenager stomped her right leg, instantly covering the platform in ice, trapping Naruto's feet in the process. He remained in the center of the platform.

"I can't believe it! This battle is incredible! Todoroki is giving everything for one final assault against Uzumaki, who appears to be ensnared!" Present Mic's commentary fueled the crowd's enthusiasm as they bore witness to this intense clash.

"Finally!" In the stands, Endeavor watched with emotion as flames emerged from his daughter's left side. He cared little about the Uzumaki's provocations, urging him to fight as if he were the one in the battle. His sole concern was that she was finally using both her quirks in a fight.

"Not bad..." Naruto smiled as he observed the girl raise her left arm, pointing it directly at him. Her hand radiated a blinding golden-orange glow, a sign that she had concentrated and compacted all her power into a single point.

"This is getting out of control!" Present Mic's shout alarmed Midnight, who tore part of her suit, releasing a purple vapor. However, it was repelled by the strong air currents. Cementoss, on the other hand, seemed strangely immobilized. Underneath the bandages covering his right eye, Naruto's eye emitted a faint red glow.

"Annoyances out..." Naruto's thoughts focused on the approaching threat. As the hero supervisors were temporarily incapacitated, he turned his attention to his opponent, who had a devastating attack in the works. "Shoot with everything you've got, brat!" With a powerful hit to the ground, he shattered the ice binding his feet. Embedding his hands in the solid platform, he lifted a protective wall against the firestorm. The searing blaze slowly lost its intensity over seconds.

Finally, a fatigued Shiori struggled to remain standing. The left side of her suit had been scorched, revealing her stomach and left chest. Fortunately, the surrounding steam concealed her from the lustful gazes of certain spectators.

"That was impressive..." In disbelief, she saw a silhouette emerge from the charred platform as the shield fell. Naruto, who appeared relatively unscathed by the heat, walked across the burnt ground. "Have you got it out of your system yet?" Shiori's response was to collapse from exhaustion. "I'll take that as a yes..." The teenager calmly approached her and checked that she had merely fainted.

A heavy silence enveloped the stadium. It seemed the Uzumaki's battles never failed to astonish. However, now the dense layer of vapor obscured the view for many. "A true gentleman when needed, young Uzumaki," noted All Might, one of the few who could witness the shinobi removing his jacket to place it over the unconscious girl.

"I knew you were a good person, Naruto-kun. I knew it," Ibara thought as she watched her friend covering the modesty of the Todoroki girl. Others who could see the scene, such as Momo, Izuku, and Uraraka, shared her sentiments.

"I can't see anything! But I'll remember this battle as one of the best I've ever seen! Wait, the fog is clearing!" Present Mic exclaimed as the steam dissipated, revealing the teenage Uzumaki walking off the platform. He left behind an unconscious Shiori. "Uzumaki Naruto won! But apparently he didn't come out unscathed, as he lost his jacket in the explosion of fire!" The professional hero commented, yet the spectators remained hesitant to applaud. This time, there were fewer angry shouts, though.

Ignoring everything around him, the shinobi observed a medical team taking Todoroki to the infirmary. Although he had pushed her to her limits, it was surprising to see the range of her powers. Her fire attack could char more than half a stadium, and with just one step, she covered the entire platform with ice. The girl had great potential, but it was clear that she relied too much on her quirks and lacked the sense and ability for hand-to-hand combat.

"I win again..." Izuku sighed, closing his notebook as he observed the shinobi slowly returning to the concrete hallway, allowing the next battle to commence. However, this would take some time, as they needed to repair all the damage inflicted upon the platform.
