Kaguya could see only light when she opened her eyes, very different from the darkness that she had grown accustomed to.

" Ugh "

As her blurry vision was restored, she saw a man sitting before her, his very presence made her heart skip a beat.

There was something about it that she liked, that she couldn't put her finger on, but that wasn't the most important thing right now.

" Who.. are you..? "

The man before her smiled a happy smile as he said in a magnetic voice.

" You can call me.. Andrew. "

Kaguya's mind was slowly beginning to work again, she muttered softly.

" .. Andrew? What a strange name.. "

She found that whatever it was about his presence, kept her calm, the immense negative influence that ten tails left on her emotional state was being washed away..

" What am I doing here..? Your chakra.. it's upsetting.. "

Sensing her state as a projection, Kaguya asked the man how exactly she got here, but looking at his naturally calm face hiding emotions, while his inner chakra giving a gloomy feeling, she had to ask about that too.

Was it empathy she was showing? Was it simply the emotional burden of not being able to talk to anyone? Or was it something deeper?

Kaguya didn't know, but she knew this much, this man had to do much with her getting out of the seal, and subsequently calming her down.

" Huh? "

The man looked at her surprised, as he spoke cheerfully.

" My chakra is upsetting? Where did you get that from? "

Kaguya stared at his smiling face as her Byakugan eyes frowned.

" This is a lie, that smile is wrong, your chakra is tainted, tell me why. "

Kaguya found that somehow, she didn't seem to care much about the reason behind her presence here anymore, she seemed to be focusing on the present.

She was acting like she used to before eating the chakra fruit.

She was from a very long lived species, naturally they never hurried to do things, previously her mentality had changed significantly, because of the negative emotions from the tails and her son's betrayal.

Now all that filth was being washed away, her mind felt clean, so she wanted to take the time to understand this individual before her.

Seeing him not speaking as his eyes slowly shadowed, she didn't feel fear, but spoke naturally.

" You are born in my nursery, I can feel it, the world has much of my chakra scattered around, so tell me, why you carry such sadness as you summon me, is it happiness that you seek from me? "

Seeing his still shadowed eyes, she spoke again.

" Is that the reason you summoned this goddess? "

Kaguya was revered as a goddess of earth for many years, she has experience with people calling out to her for such things.

Maybe this particular man also desired such a thing.

The man finally looked up, ever so slowly, his eyes were currently a glowing blue.

Not the tenseigan concluded Kaguya.

" What do I want? Do I want happiness..? "

Asked the man to himself as Kaguya kept looking at his face, she didn't try to contact black zetsu either after her first attempt failed, her senses were somewhat muted.

She didn't have to wait for long, the man seems to have finally found an answer.

" Yes, it is happiness that I want, I want your happiness. "

Kaguya looked confused and lost.

The man seems to have expected this though.

" Do you know the feeling of being betrayed by your family? "

Kaguya frowned at the memories but spoke anyway, she was here and this man had brought her out, the least she could do was see what was going on.

" I know. I was sealed by my sons.. "

The man nodded as he said another thing.

" Do you know what it feels when you're trying your best to avoid a calamity, and instead of helping you, it's your own Kin that kills you? "

Kaguya chewed her words as she spoke out.

" I know, that was why I was sealed.. you let me out fully.. Andrew, or my nursery won't survive long. "

Kaguya wanted to avoid the questions now, she didn't like how he was pointing out her life and it's failures.

But the man shook his head, as he continued asking.

" Do you know, how it feels to be trapped in dark space without able to move a muscle, when you know as you sit here doing nothing, the calamity is still approaching? "

Kaguya gave a full fledged frown.

" I know, I was trapped in the seal for centuries thinking about that, are you recounting my failures? Human..? "

Kaguya's questions had the man laugh, an actual happy yet depressed laugh as he smiled his signature fake smile and said.

" No, I am recounting my failures.. I am recounting my life. "

Kaguya's eyes widened slightly, what did he mean?
