22 Incredible strength

If seen at nightfall, one would say these were the eyes of a predator, glowing in dark as it stalks it's prey.

The sharp blue eyes, were glowing softly as Mizuki looked at his reflection, taking a pocket mirror out of his Ninja tool bag.

" Not bad, no changes in my body, or facial structure, only my iris have turned light blue, and that's due to the nature of thunder energy coursing through me right now, I wonder, can this be called a doujutsu? Or is it still sage mode, after all even imperfect sage modes have a change in pupils, though that's due to an entirely different reason of species chakra mixture, not like mine, mine glows due to the potency of chakra within me. "

Let's test out my strength, thought Mizuki, but he didn't do any mindless actions such as throwing a punch at his house wall randomly, or jumping really high with glowing eyes in the middle of night creating sonic booms, neither did he break a tree or big rock in half with a punch wanting to feel powerful and leaving very obvious clues on what could have happened for whosoever brothered to check, no he did neither of these incredibly common methods as they were just as dumb as they were common.

He did something much less barbaric, much more subtle and incredibly more useful.

Bending down, Mizuki took a bunch of soil in his hand, and rolled in into a ball, a ball roughly the half size of his fist.

Taking it with both hands, he started to apply pressure.

Compression, this is what Mizuki was doing, it's a fantastic way to check your strength with a very high upper limit and very low lower limit, on top of being incredibly quite, it was overall much more friendly to trees and much less harmful to rocks.

As Mizuki kept on compressing the mud ball, it went from feeling soft to feeling solid in his hands, slowly it became so solid Mizuki couldn't compress it any further no matter how much he tried.

Slowing opening his hand, there was the ball, once half the size of his fist was now the size of a ball bearing and looking just as tough.

" That's an incredible increase in strength, but that's to be expected, Naruto had managed to pick up a massive rock with just toad sage mode and no knowledge on how to use chakra strengthening, what Tsunade does with chakra control, sage mode does automatically, after all Tsunade's strength isn't a secret to those in the know, it's simply cumbersome to use so it's not done normally, a 5 year old Itachi himself created Tsunade's strengthening technique, all on his own, and that was before he even went to the academy or knew of Tsunade ( True story ) "

Mizuki shook his head at the fate of one of the few incredibly talented ninja in this world.

Itachi was an incredible genius, but sadly, his own genius and one track believe in his judgement was what had killed him. He had the burden of everything put on him too soon, he wasn't ready enough for the world before he had to take it on. And as one would expect, he lost control of the reins and crashed, very hard.
