Chapter 21: Power Houses

Ritsu was currently writing a bunch of seals on a huge pot two meters all around, made with the strongest metal they could afford.

Ritsu had spent the last three months studying the seal that sealed the Ryumyaku, he learned a lot through the seal capable of sealing Ryumyaku

The seal taught him that Ryumyaku's chakra wasn't contained within a big container. In fact it was shoved in.

Though if the container was any smaller and if the seals weren't as strong as the current one then Ryumyaku's seal would break.

Ritsu was correct that the Queen of Roran did know Fuinjutsu as it's passed down from Queen to the Queen's direct descendant which was Rinoa who was already married, and had her own child, Iku.

After all it was necessary to keep the seal together so Ryuumyaku's chakra wouldn't escape, though the fuinjutsu that was passed was all related to this particular seal.

For the first week Ritsu studied the seal without any help from Hanano as he wanted to show his capabilities.

In the second week he started to experiment on random individuals that he would kidnap from nearby shinobi clans or bandits, after his 'materials' ran out .

He would only carved a portion of seal on the said person, then activate the seal, noting down the cause and effect.

After two weeks of experimentation he understood what every part of the seal did, which was to just keep the chakra in place, not allowing a single bit to creep out.

Which led to the second month where he started to add things onto the seal, in hopes that he would make something similar to Tsunade's forbidden jutsu where she would store the chakra at a single point in her head.

Though Ritsu added the concept of a storage seal into the seal as he hoped to put the chakra in a separate place or condense said chakra.

It wasn't till the third month when Ritsu ran out of his materials that he started to abduct people from nearby towns in the Land of Wind. Of course he would go out with the excuse to clear his mind.

Ritsu had come up with a seal that would condense the chakra while also separating it into a separate space.

However doing so wouldn't allow any chakra to leak out effectively hiding the chakra that will be sealed within.

Though it wouldn't prevent Ryumyaku from taking in the chakra from the surroundings.

However, since the chakra wouldn't leak out Ritsu couldn't open the seal as it would risk chakra flooding out.

So with the inspiration Ritsu had from watching the Pain arc, and Flying thunder God jutsu Ritsu attempted to teleport chakra.

Yes, such an ability is useless but with Ritsu's affinity with space time Jutsu the recovery rate of Ryumyaku would hopefully surpass the consumption rate of teleporting the chakra.

Though some would ask why he didn't directly seal it directly with his body, as it was not a tailed beast.

Ritsu would face the problem that he needed a special chakra to contain the chakra, even though Ritsu had a spacetime affinity with Ryumyaku.

Jinchurikis who didn't have a special chakra needed to have the beast sealed from a young age so that their body could acclimate to the beast chakra.

Though the real answer is that Jinchurikis weren't capable of hiding their chakra, he didn't need an alarm that alerted his enemies that he was nearby.

Even his seals wouldn't be able to hide the presence of the Ryumyaku, at least without denying him access to said chakra.

In the anime Nagato controlled the Six paths all through the Rinnegan and black sticks that Ritsu assumed was capable of transmitting chakra.

Ritsu isn't sure if there was a direct chakra line between Nagato and the puppets or if Nagato teleported his chakra.

Ritsu had neither the black stick nor the Rinnegan, so he turned to seals, particularly the teleportation seal.

Allowing the user to teleport from a designated point to another, except Ritsu attempted this with chakra and he succeeded.

After countless failed attempts of using his materials to teleport chakra and having bodies explode onto him he finally succeeded.

Though he made sure to attempt it on ten other people to make sure it wasn't a fluke.

Today marked a week after the three months he spent studying and experimenting with the seal.

During these three months Ritsu spent preparing the seal on the huge pot he had ordered to be made, he sent Riku towards the Land of Rain in search of the Fuma Clan.

A month ago Kaz had sent word that he found the Hatake Clan and the location of the Iburi.

—-------------------------------------

Hanano was currently watching Ritsu standing in front of the seal that contained Ryumyaku, a part of her hoped that he would fail, but a part of her asked, 'What if he succeeds?'

Hanano reminisced about her younger times within the village, 'Are we really going to leave behind our home.'

'No our home was where the Ryumyaku is. So our home will lie with the boy.'

Hanano felt distraught at possibly having to leave her home, 'Maybe I should interrupt it somehow? But then again he is a shinobi, and strong at that especially since his killing intent was so dense.'

The possibility that the boy is capable of controlling the Ryumyaku would mean the boy is extraordinary even more so since he is at a young age.

However, recalling that Ritsu is taking the Ryumyaku is something their people has protected for generations still bothers her.

He had given Kinji five million Ryos for joining his group, but he hadn't offered her anything.

Instead he invited himself in and was taking the most precious thing they had.

She doubted whether she should trust him,

But she looked down at the scroll that contained books, they were books on Fuinjutsu.

According to Ritsu they were the basics, yet the books were at least five hundred pages each.

Although she knew Fuinjutsu it was simply related to the seal of Ryumyaku after all they had to repair the seal so Ryumyaku wouldn't break through.

It was better to say that the only Fuinjutsu Hanano knew of was just the seal of Ryumyaku.

Ritsu said that her people had a decent skill of Fuinjutsu. If we take our time and learn the Fuinjutsu in this book it would give us the authority needed to be taken seriously as part of one of the founding Clans.

'If he follows up with his promises then forget the Ryumyaku, what he has given us would allow our descendants to live on a golden platter.

Hanano recalled the conversation they had three months ago as he handed the books containing Fuinjutsu.

'Make sure only those who are trustworthy learn these seals, we can't have our future enemies know of our techniques.'

'Why would you give us such a precious thing to my people?' questioned Hanano skeptically.

'Didn't I say earlier, I will protect our people.'

She was awakened from her recollection when the vast amount of chakra that she was familiar with ever since she was a little child started to diminish.

She felt her power and control over the Ryumyaku diminishing by the second.

She watched as Ritsu dried out the container that held Ryumyaku with no repercussions.

She watched as the chakra obediently entered the huge pot.

'There are others who are the true monster. If I were to face them, I would be a brat.

At least at this moment in time.'

She remembered those words, 'In my eyes this child is a monster, just what has he seen to feel that he doesn't compare to the monsters he has seen?'

Hanano eyed the huge pot, 'In the future if he falls then we could always take the pot back.

—---------------------------------

Ritsu had just finished transferring the last bit of Ryumyaku into the huge pot.

The whole process was smooth even now as he teleported the chakra from Ryumyaku into his own chakra reserves

The seal that was used to teleport the chakra between the huge pot to his own chakra reserves was located right above his dantian seal also branching off his main seal.

Ritsu was proud of his work, but there was no time to rest as it was time for his subordinates to realize how great he is.

He faced Hanano, "I assume everyone is gathered at the plaza?"

"Yes that is correct…..," Hanano paused before deciding to add, "Young Master" with a bow.

"Well what are we waiting for? Let's head out."

Ritsu and Hanano made their way to the Plaza as people could be seen sitting around on the items they will be bringing, some were chatting amongst one another, and others were nervous at the whole prospect of leaving the land they grew up in.

Despite being so enamored in their talk when the presence of Ritsu and Hanano was noticed by one, soon everyone turned their attention to Ritsu and Hanano.

"Hanano I need you to stand in the circle as well so you don't be the one that gets left behind."

Once Hanano made her way to her daughter's family she turned her attention to Ritsu.

Ritsu breathed calmly as place his hands on the formation slowly letting the chakra pour out of him while at the same time he started to fill his diminishing reserves with Ryumyaku's Chakra.

As he teleported the chakra between the places Ritsu realized that the consumption to teleport the chakra was lesser than he originally anticipated, could it be his bloodline enhancement affecting his overall qualities, experience, or could it be Ryumyaku?

'It didn't matter'

Growing confident in his control Ritsu ramped up the speed of the chakra, leading the formation to glow in a bright light and one by one the individuals in the formation started to disappear along with their belongings.

Once everyone disappeared, Ritsu destroyed his formation before returning the pot and disappearing along with it.

Ritsu found himself in the Karatachi compound, along with the huge pot.

He watched as his clansmen directed the individuals into the housing they had prepared, though some of the houses weren't complete.

He made his way to his family's house, planning to visit his family for a while.

Taking his first steps in the house he saw a running Takao with a toy kunai attempting to attack him with it.

Ritsu simply sidestepped and bonked Takao on his head.

Which led Takao to cry as he was only a year and half old.

'Ena must be feeding him ideas,' thought Ritsu as he raised his hand to quickly block a kick that was aimed at his head.

'Of course.'

He had just gotten back, and Ena's already trying to fight him.

Not wanting to put up with sister's antics he quickly punched her in the gut as she fell over unconscious.

He walked past the unconscious Ena, he tilted his head to the right.

"What kind of brother tries to knock out their sister!!" yelled Ena clearly furious at the punch Ritsu gave her, as she held her stomach rubbing it. Trying to soothe the pain.

Ritsu thought he put enough force to make her unconscious.

"The kind that has an annoying sister…. I can see you have improved. Ena while I'm not here I need you to teach our new recruits to make sure they are up to standards.

Also tell Chikao and a couple of clansmen to start teaching them the basics of shinobi. I need them whipped up to shape.

For the past three months Riku has trained them in meditation and physical conditioning.

Ahh before I forget, the Roran clan should only be trained though not as intense for now as they will be learning Fuinjutsu."

Ena pouted that her brother was back and the first thing he did was to order her around. He could at least chat with her for a while.

Though that dissatisfaction didn't stop her from following her brother's orders.

Ritsu quickly visited his mother, and his other two mothers, paid his greeting to his uncle before reporting to his father on his progress and news.

Ritsu was currently discussing with his father the information they had received from clansmen sent out to find out the current situation of the two power houses of the Land of Water.

On one hand there is the Yuki Clan that was allied with the Terumi Clan. Though they were few in numbers just the Kekkei Genkai they had allowed them to overpower any other clan.

On the other side is the Hozuki Clan, Hoshigaki Clan, Momochi Clan, and the Suikazan Clan.

They were greater in number, had quality shinobi, and the leader of this group was the Hozuki Clan which had the Kekkei Genkai of being able to turn their body into water.

The Hoshigaki Clan had features of fish allowing them to dive underwater for a long time, an unusual amount of chaka though they were not even comparable to the Uzumaki or Senju, and had a rather high affinity with Water more so than any other clan.

The Hoshigaki Clan was also known to sharpen their teeth.

The Momochi Clan and the Suikazan Clan were always under the Hoshigaki Clan and the Hozuki Clan, acting as grunts for them.

Though they were known for their skills with blades.

Although Ritsu knew this from his past life he was not too keen on what happened when the different elemental lands unified themselves.

Though one thing he did know from the anime is that there was discrimination in the Land of Water against Kekkei Genkai users.

Though he wasn't sure how prominent the discrimination is.

Besides that in the anime the Land of Water subjugated the surrounding land and clans instead of diplomacy.

'Though it wouldn't be any different this time around'

"Very well. I will send some of our clansmen to gather information on the political situation of the Land of Water."

"Also father you need to start looking at the various Daimyos in the Land of Water, I need a Daimyo that fits these requirements." Ritsu handed his father a paper that listed the type of Daimyo they needed to fund Kirigakure.

As Nao read the requirement he couldn't help but felt that many Daimyo would fit in this list as the requirement didn't help them, the ones asking for backing.

"Ritsu, these requirements... surely you made a mistake."

Ritsu stared at his father's eyes, sending him a reassuring smile, "Father, what we need is not a capable Daimyo that will help us run our village.

What we need is their name and blood. I want a list of candidates by next year."

Nao could tell or at least see what direction his son planned for this Daimyo, "Ritsu if we do this we risk making the rest of the world our enemies."

"Father do not worry, we simply need one who isn't overbearing and will know their place. A puppet if you will."

Ritsu laughed as his father had too much of a serious face. He had been overthinking his requirements.

"Father, I am now headed to the Land of Fire, to possibly recruit two groups though I'm not sure when so we need to prepare more houses and speed up the construction."

Nao couldn't help but wither as the money they had at least a quarter of it was spent in the current construction of the expansion of the compound

Now if Ritsu was recruiting more clans then, another quarter would be spend for the expansion, this didn't included the cost for living, as the consumption of the aggregation of the Karatachi, Endo, and the Roran Clan increased and will continue to increase as more clans continue to come under their wing.

The Queen of Roran named her group the Roran Clan in the name of their previous dwelling as they switched to a Clan hopefully worthy of the Fuinjutsu Ritsu handed them.

"Father, don't worry about the money I will procure more on my travels.

Although before I go I will be selecting a few young individuals from the new groups to be trained, they must face the hardest training possible to ensure they will be pillars in the future.

Also ensure the training of the adults, although they are starting late, every bit of manpower we can muster will be vital in the future.

That will be all."

Ritsu stood up and exchanged his farewells with his father as he went to scout out those with talent from the recently gathered.
