With the end of registration, the school quickly started the initial assessments. Tetsuya easily passed using a Clone Technique and was placed into the elite class. Sasuke, not to be outdone, transformed into his brother Itachi and performed just as impressively.

"Wait, wait for me!" Naruto burst in, panting and late, under the disapproving stares of many. "Sorry, I overslept," he muttered.

Tetsuya shook his head, already knowing Naruto's unreliability. He had reminded him just the day before. Despite the blunder, Naruto's natural resilience and a recommendation letter from the Third Hokage secured him a spot in the elite class.

"Yo! Tetsuya!" Naruto greeted energetically after the results were announced.

Tetsuya rolled his eyes, "Idiot, didn't I tell you to get up early today?"

Naruto scratched his head sheepishly. "I was too excited last night and forgot to set the alarm. But it's fine, I'm in! I'll definitely become Hokage!"

Tetsuya wanted to distance himself from the embarrassment. "Come on, I'll treat you to Ichiraku ramen. Let's get out of here." He glanced at Hinata, who was still watching him. Today wasn't the best for their usual interaction, but school days were long and full of opportunities.

Meanwhile, Hyuga Hiashi observed Naruto with an uncertain expression. As someone in his position, he knew much about the village's secrets. Was it really safe for Tetsuya to openly associate with the Nine Tails Jinchūriki? Hiashi began to suspect that Tetsuya's background might not be so simple.
