| 2 | Inside The Belly of The Shinigami

As Minato opened his eyes, he saw that he was in a dark place. After looking around for some time he figured that he was inside the belly of the Shinigami. Sighing he said to himself "So I couldn't save myself." Taking a metaphorical deep breath, he thought 'It's alright, at least Kushina will be with Naruto now.'

After that, he just closed his eyes and started to see the memories he got from his past life.

A life where he was not an orphan, how he joined the army which is almost similar to how the ninjas work and the education system in the previous life.

As he was looking through it all another being was watching Minato with hate-filled eyes inside him and not able to hold back its anger it roared at Minato "Yondaime Hokage!"

Hearing the sound, Minato was bought out of his musing and he asked "What is it Kyuubi?"

"How dare you rip me apart and seal my half in your son?" Kyuubi asked with wrath.

"Well you know, that guy who controlled you, he will be back I'm sure of it," Minato said.

Hearing that, Kyuubi's wrath went through the roof and roared "If that bastard comes to control me again, I'll kill him."

"Well, there's a long way for that to happen." Minato told Kyuubi.

When Minato said that the Kyuubi looked at Minato as if he was an idiot and asked "What do you mean by that?"

"Before I tell you that..... You will have to promise me that you will help me from now on." Minato said.

"Grr... " Grumbling the Kyuubi went silent.

Smiling at that Minato went back to looking through the memories of his past life. In there he found the entertainment of the previous world.

As he was skimming through it, he saw a familiar name. Intrigued he looked at that specific memory and saw the title of a manga "Naruto."

As it is his son's name he looked through it and found out the way he would have lived if Kushina did not survive. He saw his son going through childhood getting hate from the villagers, for a sin that he or his parents didn't commit. He saw his son growing up into a knucklehead Shinobi under the guidance of Kakashi his student and Jiraiya his sensei.

He saw the betrayal done by Danzo, in his opinion, saw the massacre of the Uchiha Clan at the hands of the masked man and Itachi Uchiha, the son of Fugaku Uchiha and his wife's best friend Mikoto Uchiha.

With the death of the third Hokage at the hands of Orochimaru, Tsunade becomes the Fifth Hokage. Sasuke goes rouge, and Naruto goes on a training trip with his Godfather.

He saw the group calling themselves Akatsuki hunting down all the Jinchuriki, from the one tails to the seven tails.

With the death of his sensei Jiraiya, Naruto training to become a sage. The destruction of Konohagakure at the hands of Pain. The declaration of war on the Ninja world by the masked man, who calls himself Madara Uchiha.

Thanks to the action taken by the Fourth Raikage Ay and Fifth Hokage Tsunade, the Hacibi and Kyuubi Jinchuriki were out of reach from the Akatsuki.

He saw how he and the previous Hokages were reanimated using the Jutsu created by the Second Hokage, Tobirama Senju.

The masked man is none other than his student, Obito whom He thought to be dead. He saw the world going into a dream-like state and how his son and the last member of the Uchiha Clan seal Kaguya and Black Zetsu in a dimension of Kaguya and finally saw how the world attained peace.

Seeing all of this Minato said to himself "So I was right. But things will be different since Kushina is with Naruto."

Then taking a deep breath he called out to the Kyuubi "Kyuubi, I need your help."

There was no response, so he called the real name of the Kyuubi, "Kurama! I need your help."

"How do you know that name?" Kurama asked Minato with a bit of surprise and anger.

"I will tell you if you agree with my terms," Minato said.

"And what would that be?" Kurama asked Minato.

"Let me have full control over your chakra from now on." Minato said.

In reply, a devastating roar was heard *Rawwwrrrrrr* "Never in your dreams!" Saying that Kurama went back to being silent.

"Even if I tell you that the one who was prophesied by Hogoromo has been born already?" Minato asked Kurama, knowing full well that the prophesied by Hogoromo is his son.

"How do you know about the prophecy?" Kurama asked.

"I know a lot more than that Kurama. I know that the Sage of Six Paths created the Nine of you, and the Sage and his brother, both of them together sealed their mother who had become a planetary threat." Minato told the bits of the past that are only supposed to be known by the Bijū and the Ōtsutsuki brothers.

"I will allow you to control my chakra, only if you will tell me the truth. And don't try to lie to me. Because of you do, then I will know." Kurama told Minato.

Knowing full well what Kurama meant, Minato agreed with it.
