Chapter 95: Saving Pakura (6)

After seeing that no mist shinobi was left alive, Jiraiya moved towards the genins position while Shikuro let his insects that have survived the previous battle spread throughout the area to find anyone who was watching the battle from behind and was going to report the proceedings from the battle if something unexpected happen and no one from the attacking force was left alive.

Jiraiya looked at the genins condition and then gave out a sigh of relief to find out that they were uninjured and no mist shinobi went after them. Only after checking their condition, he checked Pakura's condition.

"Jiraiya of the Sanin" Pakura murmured

"Pakura of the Scotch Release, You look like someone who needs serious medical attention. Even though Kabuto has stopped the healing, You would need urgent attention of a jonin iryô-nin. It is time for us to part....." Before Jiraiya could continue any further Ken interrupted him.

"Uncle Jiraiya, We have decided to bring Pakura San back to Konoha. She will now be living with us. Is not that great?" Ken said with fake excitement as they started acting on the plan that was formed by the combind minds of the legendary author Jiraiya and the upcoming oscar winner in acting category of the Narutoverse, Ken Sarutobi.

"WHAT!!?? ARE YOU CRAZY?" Jiraiya shouted in mock rage before calming down.

"So let me get this straight, You want a sand shinobi to come to Konoha? A shinobi that is being hunted by one great village and is abandoned by another? You realize that this would cause a war right?"

"So what? Are we the Leaf scared of some sandwords and some fishes? We have fought multiple vilages at the same time and have won esch and every time." Ken retorted back as the other two genins also nodded at his words.

"Even if I agree, there is no way the council or the Hokage would agree to this." Jiraiya said while at the same time he was thinking about his next novel.

'Oh boy, I can't wait to write about this in my next novel. A hero saving a damsel in distress by going against three shinobi villages and after they get married, I can write all the dirty stuff. Perfect!' Jiraiya thought as a perverted smile was about to reach his face but he controlled himself realising the situation.

"We would secretly bring her in Konoha and only tell about her to Grandpa. Grandpa would surely agree to my proposal. After all the will of Fire states that every pawn is capable enough to become a queen. Thus, my reason to save her." Ken said looking at Pakura proudly.

"Did this brat just call me a Pawn?" Pakura mumbled but everyone else ignored her murmurring as Shikuro had arrived after confirming there were no mist shinobi around.

He was looking quite haggard and he was bleeding from his shoulder. Kabuto hurriedly rushed towards him as he started healing and bandaging him.

Seeing Shikuro's condition which was so different from Jiraiya's condition who had battled more shinobis than Shikuro made Ken realise the difference between a Sanin and a normal S rank shinobi.

Every S rank shinobi was not equal in strength in any way. Even the Kages of each villages had different power levels.

Jiraiya ignored Shikuro's condition and in mock exasperation confronted him for his students behavior.

"Shikuro can you believe what your students are saying?!"

"I am sorry," Shikuro instantly bowed.

"Why are you already apologizing? You don't even know what they said,"

"I know my students very well. They must have said something stupid to make you this angry. I apologize on behalf of them but I can't do anything about their attitude. When I complain to Lord Hokage about Ken, he gives me the stink eye and says to get lost. Although it's rare for me complain to Fugaku over Itachi, Whenever I do so, he gives me the sharingan look. Tell me what can I do now about their attitude?" Shikuro looked like he was about to cry from the injustice he faced because of his students.

"In my opinion, it is best to do what these kids say. They would learn their lesson in the future if their decision turns out to be bad. And if their decision turns out to be a good one, we can be proud of them and embrace this new generation." Shikuro explained to Jiraiya.

At this point of time, both Kabuto and Itachi wondered whether everyone in Konoha had such good acting skills.

Jiraiya looked at Shikuro in betrayal "Fine, We would be bringing her to Konoha. But I am not getting scolded for this by sensei. This is all on you, Shikuro and your students."

"Hello, I am still here..... Does my opinion even matter?" Pakura asked at the ridiculousnes of the situation.

"Since you can talk, It means you have recovered enough of your chakra. Go and use some scotch release jutsu to burn the mist shinobi bodies and destroy the area a little. This would make it look that you killed everyone here." Jiraiya said to which Pakuro could helplessly nod.

Kabuto supported her and took her to the battlefield to let her do her part.

As soon as she was away, Ken, Jiraiya and Shikuro exchanged high fives to a brilliant plan executed.

"Shikuro sweep up your insects that are dead. We don't want people to know that an Aburame was somehow involved here."

"I have already did it. My friends have been buried a little further away from here. Rest in peace my little friends." Shikuro said as he shed few tears in remembrance of his insects that lost their life in the battle.

After the battlefield was cleared of all evidences, the Leaf team along with Pakura moved out and started heading towards Konoha.
