45 Chapter 45: Genin Test (3)

The three genins looked at the Rubber ball in which their sensei was trapped in astonishment not believing that they succeeded in their plan.

"You did it Ken!" Kabuto said with a wide smile as Itachi too had a smile on his face.

"Both of you did a good job in distracting him. I would not be able to use this jutsu if he continued to dodge or move." Ken said .

"This rubber ball would be able to hold him in right?" Itachi asked

"Don't worry, he would not be able to break out of it easily." Ken reassured him as he then looked at the unmoving rubber ball and shouted "Sensei,You should give up before you and your insects die without air."

Ken inwardly though was worried as there was no movement inside the rubber ball. Not even a hint of struggle. He should have at least tried to break through the rubber ball.

'I am pretty sure that I trapped him inside unless.... He was using a shadow clone from the very start.' Ken thought

Before Ken could voice his thoughts to his teammates, he was kicked hard on his stomach throwing him back as he collided against a tree. It was without any warning. Shikuro kicked him without making a sound as well as masking his scent.

Itachi and Kabuto were shocked but before they could take any action, Kabuto was also punched hard.

Both Itachi and Shikuro engaged in a taijutsu battle. Itachi had his sharingan active but was still not able to keep up with Shikuro.

"Lesson Number 2: Always make sure that you are really facing the real enemy and Lesson number 3 is not to let down your guard even if you think that the enemy has lost." Shikuro lectured Itachi as he punched him but Itachi did not give up and continued to engage in a taijutsu bout with Shikuro while waiting for his team mates to recover and support him.

Ken had got up and attacked Shikuro with his fist covered in ash stone.

"Why the fuck are you always kicking me?" Ken shouted as he tried to punch Shikuro only for him effortlessly sidestepping causing Ken's punch to crash into a nearby tree, sending splinters flying.

"Don't announce that you are coming to attack!" Shikuro said as he tried to kick Ken again but ken used his rock fists to defend against it.

As Ken regrouped, Shikuro dashed towards him with blinding speed. Ken attempted to counter with a roundhouse kick, but Shikuro pivoted and smoothly swept Ken's legs out from under him. Ken crashed to the ground with a thud face first.

As Shikuro was capitalize on it and kick Ken in the guts again, Itachi attacked him to distract him from Ken.

"Itachii!" After a few seconds, Ken shouted Itachi's name who understood and tried to get away from Shikuro who tried to stop him but Kabuto aimed some Kunais to prevent it.

'Earth Style: Great Mud river'

Using the jutsu, Ken transformed the ground underneath Shikuro into a muddy river that sweeped him off his feet and carried him far away from them, eventually making the distance between them large enough to prevent Shikuro from engaging in Taijutsu with them.

But Ken was not done as he weaved hand signs again as he used the mud already created by his previous jutsu to create a mud dragon that shooted mud bombs.

'Earth Style: Earth Dragon Bomb'

But by no means he was done as he spit liquid lava to cover the mud bombs. Making the earth dragon bombs like an actual bomb.

It was much more lethal than covering them with fire as the lava made the earth bombs even more lethal as they would cause a small explosion of flames and lava on impact.

Not only Shikuro was taken back by the back to back combination of Jutsu even Hiruzen and Jiraiya who were watching the battle were shocked to see this display of Ninjutsu.

"Did he just use 3 B rank jutsus in less than 10 seconds that too in combination of one another? He is 6 right? Where is he getting all of this chakra from?" Jiraiya said to no one in particular in astonishment.

Hiruzen just smirked as he said "He is always fascinated with ninjutsu and trains in it continuously. Even while eating his dinner, he would think about how to use his jutsus in a battle or how he could improve his jutsus or which jutsus he should learn next? But even I did not think that he would be able to combine this jutsu with his lava release."

"I don't think Shikuro would be able to win against them while being holding so much of his battle prowess or just being on the defensive. You were not exaggerating when you said these kids were talented." Jiraiya said as Hiruzen nodded at that.

Shikuro who was covered in mud could not help but be astonished at Ken's ninjutsu prowess.

'Is this for real? It is as if I am fighting with high level chunins. He is using B rank jutsus like its a normal D rank jutsu. And he had already reduced the hand signs for his jutsu?' He thought

Seeing the mud balls covered with lava coming towards him, he quickly used a defensive jutsu.

'Earth Style: Mud wall'

The first lava mud ball exploded the mud wall insteadly as a dozen of such balls came towards Shikuro who already had his insects fly him up.

'Damn, his flying is pretty annoying. How should I deal with it?' Ken thought irritated at Shikuro dodging his combo jutsu.
