38 Chapter 38: Gifts
Hiruzen after his duties went back home to congratulate his grandson for becoming a shinobi of the leaf.
When he knew that his grandson would be graduating earlier, his urge to protect him grew stronger.
Thus, he fast-forwarded his plans and now he was surer than ever that he would be able to protect Konoha, his family and especially his grandson from any threats including threats like the nine tails.
'Now which A rank jutsu should I teach Ken? He did not want to learn the Rasengan and said that he would learn it on his own. I don't think that he would be able to learn it on his own by just seeing the jutsu. He is just six years old after all.' Hiruzen thought
'Forget it, I would just ask him again if he wants to learn the Rasengan. If not then I would teach him that jutsu.'
Hiruzen reached home where he could see Ken munching on dozens of sweets.
'It's good that he does physical training every day. Unless one is an Akimichi, fat shinobi don't really go far in their path.' Hiruzen had a smile seeing his grandson enjoy his childhood.
"Congratulations little Ken for becoming a shinobi at just the age of 6." Hiruzen said as Ken hugged him
"Just you wait, I would be the strongest ninja when I am just 16." Ken said puffing his chest
"Sure sure" Hiruzen laughed
"Now where is my A- Rank jutsu grandpa? Mom and Dad have already sent me their gifts for graduating." Ken said crossing his arms
"Oh, what did your mom and dad get you?" Hiruzen asked curious.
"Mom's gift was the best. She got me so many candies, chocolates, cakes and other desserts. They are also in storage scrolls so that they don't turn bad. While Dad gave me three fuma shurikens. Now I would have to learn how to use them." Ken showed him the desserts and the large fuma shurikens.
Hiruzen looked at the gifts with a smile "I might be able to help you with the fuma shuinken. Now tell me do you want to learn the Rasengan or some other A-rank jutsu."
"Ah did not I tell you that I would master the rasengan on my own? In fact, I have already mastered it." Ken said with a smirk as he focused his chakra on his left hand and then spun it at a high speed forming the Rasengan.
"See. It was not that difficult to use this jutsu after you told me about the specifics of the jutsu and a simple demonstration. In fact I managed to learn it in just three months." Ken said
Hiruzen was shocked to see Ken use Rasengan perfectly. It took him and Jiraiya months to master the jutsu after Minato taught them the training method for the jutsu. Minato took three years to develop the jutsu himself.
'He took just three months to learn an A-rank jutsu by just looking at it at once. Does he have something like an invisible sharingan or he is more of a genius than I thought?' Hiruzen was shocked inside while trying to show a calm expression.
'It does not hurt to appear more of a genius than I actually am. He might just teach me an extra A rank jutsu.' Ken thought
"You have learned it pretty well Ken. Since you have learned the Rasengam, the A rank jutsu that I would be teaching you would be the Shuriken Shadow clone jutsu." Hiruzen said
"But should not the shadow clone jutsu be just rank B?" Ken asked suspiciously, he doubted whether his grandpa was trying to scam him by teaching him a B rank jutsu instead of an A-Rank jutsu.
"Unlike the shadow clone jutsu, the shuriken created by this jutsu doesn't disappear on impact. It takes hours before the chakra that forms them depletes making him disappear. You can create hundreds of shuriken just from one shuriken. Thus making it an A-rank jutsu. So do you want to learn it?"
Ken could instantly think of using this jutsus in many ways. This Jutsu did not only work on shurikens but also kunais, fuma shurikens and senbons.
Sadly it does not work with Kunais with paper bomb tags. If it did, anyone could have just used this jutsu to create 1000s of paper bomb kunais and exploded them on an opponent.
According to Ken, it would be even an S-rank jutsu if it worked like that. Still even this jutsu was quite good.
Ken could not help but think of using it on the senbons while he would be using Ice style: Crystal Ice Mirrors which was Haku's jutsus.
Imagine thousands of senbons coming from every side of the enemy trapped in a cage.
If Minato had used this jutsu on his kunais that he used for flying Raijin, it would have been pretty overpowered.
It would have also allowed him to save money on buying several custom-made kunai.
Ken thought that the people in the Naruto world lacked a lot of creativity and imagination that he had from the memories of his previous life. He would take full advantage of this fact.
"Yes, I would love to learn this jutsu Grandpa." Ken said
"Good, I would also teach you how to use fuma shuriken while I am at it. I only have today's night to teach you. So try to remember everything and practice it from tomorrow when you train. Got it?" Hiruzen asked as Ken nodded.
Hiruzen began explaining the jutsu.
In short, After throwing a single shuriken, the user duplicates it with their chakra, in the same way, that the Shadow Clone Technique makes copies of the user; creating shadow clones is already difficult on its own, but specifically duplicating inanimate objects is even more difficult.
In an instant, the thousand copied shuriken spread throughout the area, surrounding the target. Because the shuriken is physically real, the target is attacked from every direction, which they have almost no chance of completely avoiding.
Hiruzen taught him the hand signs and then the principles behind the technique. Then he taught him how to throw the Fuma Shuriken.
After that, it was Ken's bedtime so Hiruzen put him into bed despite him wanting to train more. Hiruzen argued that tomorrow he would be meeting his sensei and his genin team so he has to be in his best shape.
