Chapter 35: Mission- Kakashi Complete

Ken questioned himself 'Could a seal help Kakashi?'

His thoughts were that if there are seals that could restrict chakra then Kakashi could have a seal next to his sharingan? Could it help him with his chakra?

As we know that he has to cover his Sharingan because it constantly sucks up his chakra, even when it's covered. So if he had a modified chakra suppression seal on his cheek or the side of his head that cut the chakra supply to his eye, It would let the Sharingan go to a normal eye, stop the constant drain on his chakra and let him use both eyes while the seal is on.

'Hmm, Opening the Sharingan and using its abilities would still be chakra draining for him but he would use it only when required and the passive chakra drain would also stop. This should resume his chakra growth and he would have a lot more reserves than he had in canon.' Ken patted himself on his back for such a brilliant idea.

He did not know whether it would work or not as he was not that much knowledgeable in fuinjutsu yet.

He left the task to find out whether it would work or not for Kakashi.

He left with the scroll that he took from Hiruzen library and went to the compound where Kakashi was waiting for him.

Kakashi was surprised to see him coming with a scroll.

Ken tossed the scroll to Kakashi who caught it.

"What is it?" Kakashi asked

Ken told him about the seal inside and his reasoning behind how it would help him.

Kakashi was first of all touched by the kid who was helping him so much. Secondly, he was shocked to see a five-year kid so knowledgeable about the Sharingan and fuinjutsu.

But his perception of Ken changed as soon as he saw Ken putting his open hand forward and said "That would be 100 million ryo."

"Huh? Wait I have to pay for it?" Kakashi asked

"I had to steal it from my grandpa's library. Don't you know stealing a jutsu from the Hokage is a serious crime and I had done it to help YOU. Now pay up before I burn you." Ken said

"Wait you stole it from Lord Third's library? I can't take it. Keep it back from where you took it from." Kakashi said trying to hand the scroll back to Ken who refused.

"Nope can't do. I have a no-return policy. Now pay up. Although, I can get anything by asking Grandpa, I still want my own money to spend." Ken said

Kakashi sighed "But 100 million ryo is too much for it."

"How about 75 million?" Ken asked

'It looks like that he does not know how these jutsus and seals are priced. Since I am buying this seal, I should buy it at a lower price by taking advantage of his lack of knowledge. I would have to report it to Lord Third though.' Kakashit thought

"Still too much"

"50 million?"

"You are selling me a simple sealing jutsu or an S rank jutsu?" Kalashi asked with sarcasm

"25 million?"

"No"

"5 million? You should have at least that much money. You are the son of white fang, the hatake clan leader and a Konoha jonin." Ken said irritated

"3 million and we have a deal," Kakashi said

"Deal," Ken said happily as he just earned three million ryo without doing anything. He wanted to take some money not only for his spending but also to make sure Kakashi understood that he was doing it for the money and didn't get suspicious of his intentions.

Kakashi took out the money from a storage scroll where he kept his savings and gave them to Ken.

Ken along with his five shadow clones counted the money to make sure Kakashi had given him the right amount and did not fool him into thinking that he was a kid.

On the other hand, Kakashi thought 'I just bought an advanced and modified version of the chakra suppression seal for just three million ryo. That's at least seven million ryo saved.'

Ken went back to his training while Kakashi watched him.

At night as Kakashi duty was over, he rushed to the Hokage's office.

"Come in," Hiruzen said as he heard the knock.

"Ah Kakashi, I heard you were assigned as Ken's bodyguard today. Do you have any burn wounds?" Hiruzen asked with a wry smile

"Thankfully No Lord Hokage. But Ken might have stole a scroll from your library and given to help me with my sharingan problem." Kakashi said

"Oh, which scroll?" Hiruzen said as Kakashi tossed the scroll to him.

"A modified and an advanced version of chakra suppression seal. Why would he give you that?" Hiruzen asked to which Kakashi andwered Ken reasoning behind it

'Ken is so young yet is already helping other shinobi of the leaf. Asuma has found a new found resolve and is learning the vaccum jutsus and now Kakashi. He would have made a wonderful hokage with his intellect minus the fact if he does not burn things.' Hiruzen thought

"I think that this seal would be able to solve your problem Kakashi but i think it would have to be modified a little. Also unlike what you think, it would not turn your sharingan eye back to normal. Instead it would complete seal your eye away. So you would only have one eye to fight with. But your chakra problem would be solved."

"I would modify the seal for you so you can open and close the seal as you want. Also, i would add a protective talisman seal to protect your sharingan from getting stolen." Hiruzen said

"Protective talisman seal?" Kakashi asked

"You should have heard about the hidden mist shinobi named Ao who stole the byakugan. He wears talisman seals in his ears to protect his stolen byakugan." Hiruzen answered

"Thank you Lord Hokage." Kakashi bowed

"You are the future of the Leaf, Kakashi. I can at least do this much for you." Hiruzen said with smile

"Anything else do you want to report?"

Kakashi was about to say no before he remembered something "Ken has made me pay him 3 million ryo for the seal."

"Hahaha. You really ripped Ken off there Kakashi. This seal is worth at least 12 million ryo. It looks like i will have to teach him what different jutsus and seals are worth in case he is negotiating with future villages in future." Hiruzen laughed

"To be fair Lord Hokage, he started the pricing by saying he wanted 100 million ryo." Kakashi said as Hiruzen continued laughing hearing about his silly grandson.
