History and mysteries of the rinnegan part 1

The Rinnegan first manifested as a Kekkei Mōra inherited by Hagoromo Ōtsutsuki, as a lower variation of his mother Kaguya Ōtsutsuki's Rinne Sharingan.

In the anime after almost losing his brother Hamura Ōtsutsuki, Hagoromo was able to awaken the Mangekyō Sharingan and at the same time awaken the Rinnegan.

With his Dōjutsu, Hagoromo was able to save the world from the Ten-Tails and create the Ninshū, which would be the forerunner of Ninjutsu.

Thanks to all his contributions to the world, Hagoromo was called and revered as the Sage of the Six Paths, rising mythologically through the centuries along with the Rinnegan, managing to become considered a legend by many, and even when proved that the Rinnegan existed, it was credited with being just a mere mutation.

In the Shinobi World, the Rinnegan would be able to awaken by joining the Chakra of Indra Ōtsutsuki and Asura Ōtsutsuki, sons of Hagoromo, thus creating their father's Chakra, or simply receiving chakra from Hagoromo himself.

Black Zetsu spent centuries attempting to accomplish this by manipulating the Indra and Asura Transmigrants into awakening the Rinnegan and it was not until Madara Uchiha's time as Indra Transmigrant that he implanted the cells of Hashirama Senju who was the Asura Transmigrant.

However, Madara's Sharingan did not transform into the Rinnegan until decades later near the end of his natural life, which apparently restored the vision lost in his right eye from the use of the Izanagi. Later, Madara would use it to summon the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path from the Moon and use it as a catalyst for Hashirama's cells to extend his life, then he would transplant his Rinnegan into a very young Nagato without him noticing, and who, furthermore, would use it effectively due to his Uzumaki lineage.

After Nagato's death, Obito Uchiha obtained the Rinnegan by transplanting Nagato's left eye, having lost his left Sharingan in his battle against Konan by using the Izanagi, however only one was implanted due to his inability to control the power of both eyes at once, deciding to hide the right one.

During the Fourth Shinobi World War, Kabuto Yakushi revived Nagato who possessed a replica of the Rinnegan.

As the war progressed, Kabuto revived Madara, based on a hypothesis that the Sharingan could evolve into the Rinnegan by combining with Hashirama's DNA.

Thanks to this, he was able to successfully recreate the Rinnegan in the body of the reincarnated Madara, however, with these replicas he did not have access to the abilities of his original eyes.

As the war progressed, Madara finally managed to fully revive himself as a living being, after forcing Obito to perform the Outer Path — Saṃsāra Heavenly Life Jutsu on him, Madara no longer possessed his eyes due to him dying without him. they.

Black Zetsu tried to snatch the left eye that was in Obito while the right eye was found by a clone of White Zetsu and later given to Madara who would use it to fight against the Tailed Beasts and wait for the right moment to regain its full power. and finalize the Ojo de Luna Plan.

Madara eventually regained both of his Rinnegan and died with them.
