After spending a month in the hospital, Haru has become somewhat well-known among the workers and some patients. Not for anything in particular, but because of his age and personality. It is interesting to many people to see a little kid working so seriously like an adult in the hospital. The difference between his age and how he behaves like an adult paints a cute picture for most of them to see. So even if it isn't clear, Haru's position in the hospital has slightly changed from being a person recommended by Tsunade to someone that a lot of nurses and patients like to have around. Just having a well-behaved cute kid arouses many of their motherly instincts.

So Haru's treatment in the hospital has gone up a notch as he is now being given many opportunities by several female nurses and even some doctors to witness closely how they work and interact with patients. Initially it was just because of Haru's cuteness. However as he showed his calm personality and serious attitude many nurses found having him around especially around young patients to be very effective. Having someone their age around helped the patients keep calm and they could interact with him and tell him their problems more easily than with adults.

After a few attempts they discovered that Haru's influence was not limited to children. Female patients also responded positively to having a child around as it aroused their motherly instincts and unconsciously decreased their anxiety. The same could be said for many elderly patients as most of them like well-behaved cute children. For these reasons Haru's popularity with the nurses and some doctors is very high now and they would let him watch closely as they worked sometimes they would even explain to him how things worked.

The turn of events honestly surprised both Tsunade and Haru as they didn't expect him to be accepted so quickly by the hospital. Tsunade anticipated negative comments about bringing a child to the hospital so she was pleasantly surprised when this did not happen. Haru himself didn't expect things to happen so quickly. He had thought it would take time to build his image in the hospital and gain better treatment and opportunities. However he was surprised by how quickly things turned around.

In the end it was good for all parties involved as having Haru around helped achieve positive results. Then neither Haru nor Tsunade paid any more attention to it and continued with their work.

Although Haru was treated like a giant panda around the hospital his popularity was limited to only nurses and some selective doctors. Moreover most young patients only visited the hospital 2 or 3 times a year so his popularity did not spread throughout Konoha. He was mostly known among the older patients who visited the hospital more regularly than the average villager.

Haru preferred to continue on this trajectory as he did not want to draw more attention to himself or his Senju clan status. Even though the Senju clan's position and popularity around the village was significant it could also be an eyesore for some people. Therefore Haru did not want to gain a reputation as a genius in Konoha and add more attention.

Today a special visitor came to the hospital. As he looked around trying to find the person he was looking for he noticed a little boy walking with some nurses around the hospital. The sight drew his curiosity so he slowed his steps and paid attention. It was obvious from the nurses' body language that the boy was not a patient here. After further observation he realized that the boy was likely a little worker at the hospital. He chuckled slightly at the sight and then lost interest after finding an answer and continued on his way.

Haru had also felt someone's gaze on him for some time but he didn't pay it any attention as it was a common occurrence since he started working at the hospital. When he felt the person's gaze had stopped Haru turned around but the place where he felt it was empty. He found it interesting that the person's gaze on him lasted only for a short time as people usually stared at him for longer especially when he was talking to a nurse. However Haru didn't pay any more attention as it was just a minor incident in his day.

After working for a little more time Haru went to visit Tsunade in her office which was their usual routine. He would spend some time there reading the medical cases that Tsunade had dealt with that day. This was his homework as he had to come up with his own treatment plan for those cases. After that he would compare his plan with Tsunade's and see if there were any differences. On their way back home Tsunade would answer any questions he had. This routine was very effective as it helped Haru improve a lot and gain experience at a fast pace.

After Haru knocked on the door and entered Tsunade's office he was about to start talking when he noticed that there was a visitor inside. Haru looked at the visitor and immediately recognized him from his distinct appearance. He was a little surprised to see him there but given his relationship with Tsunade Haru accepted it very quickly.

Noticing that Tsunade was very busy looking at some papers Haru didn't bother her and just sat there waiting. He didn't talk to the visitor but looked at him with curiosity. Although Haru knew about him from both his memories and his current life he had not met him until today. It was interesting to see him with such a calm attitude sitting there in Tsunade's office this was very different from their future encounters in Haru's memories.

While Haru was looking at him Orochimaru was also doing the same. He found it interesting to see the little boy again today and it was obvious that he knew Tsunade and was familiar with her based on how he had gotten into her office.

Both of them were staring at each other curiously. Even though Haru knew Orochimaru he was still very curious as he looked very different from the one in his memories from his appearance to his attitude. Orochimaru was calm and collected and appeared very normal unlike his weird appearance in Haru's memories. Haru was having fun comparing the present Orochimaru to the future Orochimaru and he realized that temperament plays a big role in how you perceive people. Just having this calm demeanor changed the way Haru looked at Orochimaru. Currently he was just a handsome and calm ninja sitting there but it was expected as he was still very young and hadn't gone down that path yet.

After a while of silence Tsunade finally finished reading the papers and raised her head to see a little boy and a young man staring curiously at each other. Seeing their similar behavior Tsunade couldn't help but chuckle at the scene. Her laughter broke the tension between the two and they both turned their attention to her. Seeing their similar behavior once again her laugh grew even more.

She chuckled and stood up before giving the papers on her desk to Orochimaru who took them and put them into his dossier. Haru looked at it and understood why Orochimaru was visiting. It was obvious that he needed Tsunade's help in something probably related to medicine. Although Orochimaru had some medical knowledge it wasn't as good as Tsunade's. Him asking for her help made a lot of sense.

After that Tsunade introduced both of them to each other. She said "Well Haru this is my teammate Orochimaru. You should know about him." Seeing Haru nod his head she then said "Orochimaru this is Haru. He is my grandmother's disciple and currently her grandson. His name is Haru and he is my little brother."

Orochimaru knew about the disciple part even if he didn't know what Haru looked like. He knew that Mito-sama had taken a disciple but the grandson part was news to him. He knew that it shouldn't be a secret but he hadn't paid attention to the news in the village after he came back from the mission with Tsunade. He had been very busy with his own stuff and hadn't paid attention to the outside world for some time.

Orochimaru chuckled a little and said "Well I noticed the little boy when I was looking for you but I didn't know he was your little brother. Nice to meet you Haru-kun." Haru nodded his head and thought to himself that it was mostly Orochimaru that he felt earlier as the timing made sense. Then he replied "Nice to meet you Orochimaru-san. It's my pleasure to meet you."

Orochimaru then asked "It seems you know me quite well little kid." Even though the boy's stare had shown a little curiosity before it was obvious to Orochimaru that he should know him considering his reputation. However he just wanted to chat a little since the boy being there aroused his interest a bit.

Haru then replied "Well Orochimaru-san your reputation is very big. All the kids in school talk about you. I have already seen you a few times from afar.'"He wasn't lying as Orochimaru's reputation was already big and positive in the village. Even though he wasn't as famous as he would become after becoming a Sannin he was well-known as a talented ninja and the Hokage's disciple. Being a civilian ninja made many of the villagers' attitudes towards him very positive especially since his outward appearance was still very normal. His reputation was only slightly lower than Tsunade's but it was way bigger than their other teammate Jiraiya's who was well-known in the village for his slightly weird and perverted behavior.

Orochimaru nodded at Haru's answer and before he could ask anything Tsunade interrupted him and said "Orochimaru doesn't this kid remind you of someone?" Hearing this he looked at Haru more closely and tried to think if he looked like someone that both he and Tsunade knew.

Seeing that Orochimaru didn't understand what she meant Tsunade smiled and said "Hahaha he looks and behaves a lot like you when you were young. From the very first time I saw him I thought you two were very similar." Orochimaru looked at Haru and acknowledged what Tsunade said. Their similarities were more in their character than in their appearance. Orochimaru was also known for his calm character since he was very young and his intelligence. Even though he was seeing Haru for the first time he could tell that Haru also had a very calm personality and being Mito's disciple already showed his talent. So Tsunade's seeing Haru's similarity to him was understandable.

As Tsunade and Orochimaru chatted Tsunade suddenly said "I finally understand why I find that expression of his annoying. He reminds me of you." Orochimaru chuckled in response knowing Tsunade was teasing him. Even though it was later shown that Jiraya was the one who was always after Orochimaru their relationship was more of a friendly rivalry. In contrast Orochimaru and Tsunade had a more amiable relationship. This was evident when Tsunade trusted Orochimaru with her brother Nawaki who Orochimaru taught in the future.

Haru noticed their dynamic and became curious. He wondered if Nawaki's death in their past lives affected not only Tsunade but also Orochimaru. Losing Nawaki meant losing the trust of one of his best friends. Even if Tsunade wouldn't blame him their relationship would be stained. This realization explained Orochimaru's dramatic change and why he ultimately blackmailed Tsunade with her brother. To him Nawaki's position in his heart was significant not just for Tsunade's vulnerability.

Haru was looking forward to the changes that would occur in this life especially since he had already altered some events by strengthening Nawaki. As he thought about all of this Tsunade and Orochimaru continued their conversation. Suddenly Tsunade said "Orochimaru look Haru is not only my grandmother's disciple but also my student. It seems I'm the first one between us to have a student. I'm not trying to brag but I don't think you can best me in this aspect." She laughed not realizing that she had just shot her little brother in the foot.

Orochimaru looked at Haru with a little more interest. Sealing and medicine were such an interesting combination to him as a researcher. He then continued to talk with Tsunade a little more before taking his leave.

When he was outside Tsunade's office he couldn't help but chuckle as he thought of Haru and his talent. He found it very interesting and made a mental note to observe what future that boy would have not only what he would grow up to be but also what having another little monster in the Senju clan meant. The village would be very interesting in the future. With that thought lingering in the back of his mind Orochimaru shifted his focus to Tsunade's response. After reading a portion of the answer he hastened his pace and swiftly vanished using ninjutsu.
