After that night, Tsunade still hadn't solved her problems, but having someone to listen did help her mentally. She didn't show it, but the situation with Mito had taken a toll on her, especially since she didn't have anyone to talk to about it. As Nawaki was very young, and she couldn't talk to Mito, Tsunade was forced to face it alone as the older one and keep everything to herself. Knowing that someone you love is going to die in the next couple of years, and you can't do anything about it, is very hard and even more difficult for Tsunade, especially since it wasn't because of health problems. If Mito were sick, she would have been 100% focused on finding a cure for her. However, the current issue is outside of her reach, and there are a lot of politics involved in this situation that go beyond just Mito and their family. She just felt powerless and didn't know what to do. In the end, all of that transferred to become stubbornness and confusion about her future.

In the next couple of days, Haru noticed an improvement in Tsunade's mood. She stopped being in a daze and was now mostly focused on teaching him. Today, after seeing Haru master another technique, Tsunade said, "Well, Haru, you are already capable of treating some simple wounds. Currently, you should continue to learn new techniques, but you also need to treat patients to gain experience. Being a doctor, you will encounter a lot of different cases. In this field of work, having experience is equally important as having technique. You need them both to succeed."

Haru listened and agreed with Tsunade in this aspect, but he also felt helpless as his young age made it very unrealistic for him to treat patients. Even if the doctor in charge agreed, the patients themselves wouldn't feel comfortable being treated by a child. This is true even in the ninja world. Leaving your health and life in the hands of a child, no matter how talented he is, would make most people very uncomfortable and refuse to accept the treatment.

He then said, "I know, but I can't do anything about it. I can't work in the hospital. Currently, all I can do is train until I grow up some more." Tsunade knew that what he said was true. Even though Konoha is famous for having young geniuses like herself and Orochimaru, there is a difference between a young ninja doing missions and a young medical ninja. If a young ninja made any mistakes in a mission, there would be their teammates and teachers to help them, and the consequences wouldn't be as big. It would be worth it in the long run as they would be allowed to grow up. However, it's a different story for medical ninjas. Their growth would come at the cost of the health and safety of the village residents. Konoha wouldn't accept it, nor would the villagers accept such growth at their own expense.

Tsunade couldn't help but sigh as it seemed that there were still a lot of limitations for Haru. As his teacher and sister, she hoped she would be able to help him. After their class that day, Tsunade couldn't help but think more about the situation, and after a few days of deep thinking and reflecting, she had her own answer.

In their next class, after Haru finished, he was about to leave when Tsunade stopped him and said, "Haru, wait. There is something I want to talk to you about." Upon seeing Haru stop and listen, she continued, "I've been thinking about it for a while. I'm going to apply to work in the hospital, so our lesson times will be shorter. But don't worry, it will not affect your studies. I have a plan. I will take you to the hospital with me. Even though you still won't be able to treat patients, just being there and witnessing different cases would help you far more than sitting and studying alone at home."

Haru, of course, understood the benefits that Tsunade was giving him and was very grateful for it. He also understood the truth behind what she said, as the saying goes, "traveling for 1000 days is better than reading 1000 books," and this was somewhat true, especially in the field of medicine. Haru preferred to have a mix of both, as he had already read enough books.

Tsunade's sudden decision did not arise solely to help Haru. It was mostly her own choice. Even though she still didn't know what to do or how to face the future, she resolved to do her best in medicine. She loved the field and had a deep interest in it, and also felt the weight of her grandmother's expectations. Haru's situation simply served as a catalyst that propelled her to make the decision faster. It gave her an opportunity and an excuse to go to the hospital.

After that, Tsunade and Haru went to visit the hospital. It was a very large building, one of the largest in Konoha. When they got inside, they noticed that it was very quiet for such a big place, as all the doctors and patients were busy doing their own things. With Tsunade's identity as the Hokage's disciple and her reputation as a medical ninja, they were given a complete tour inside.

After their tour, both Tsunade and Haru were in a very delicate mood as they left. Although they had their own experiences, they still couldn't shake the feeling they had inside. Even in the ninja world, being a doctor meant facing a lot of deaths and injuries that you wouldn't be able to solve. That feeling of helplessness from the medical staff towards the patient was something they both experienced as doctors. Even though the patient would feel hope in the hospital, for most of the workers inside, the amount of deaths and hard cases they faced affected their mood. Haru and Tsunade were able to feel it themselves.

Haru gazed at Tsunade in admiration and let out a sigh. He had no doubt that in the future, Tsunade's skills alone would revolutionize the medical system, changing many of the emotions they currently experienced. Tsunade's excellence in the field of medicine had an impact not only on herself but on the entire medical community in Konoha. Her mere presence offered patients hope for a brighter future, and the improved morale among medical staff that came with it would make them better and more passionate about their work. Tsunade's future inventions would also contribute to this, cementing her position as a key pillar of the village. Losing her would really change the trajectory of the village's future.

After such a visit, Tsunade became even more determined. On that same day, she visited the Third Hokage and asked for his help. Being his student had its benefits, and by the following morning, a position for her was arranged at the hospital. She began her new journey with a new sense of purpose.

Tsunade's choice made Mito one of the happiest people, as she knew how much talent her own granddaughter had. Tsunade inherited the family talent, albeit in a different area, just like Tobirama and Hashirama, who were also very talented. Tsunade followed in their footsteps and was a genius from a young age. Mito understood this even better than Tsunade herself, as with her age and experience, she had witnessed many talented people. That is why Mito's expectations and trust in Tsunade may be even greater than Tsunade's own.

But even then, there was still one person who was happier than Mito herself, and that was Nawaki. With Tsunade now working at the hospital, her time would be limited, and she wouldn't be able to train him as much as before. Despite understanding the benefits of her training, Nawaki didn't like being trained by her anymore. Having experienced the improvement in his chakra, he wouldn't give up on training, but he had a better plan. He decided to use his shadow clone for training, which made him smirk evilly at the thought. Finally, he would have his revenge, even if it was on himself. Unknowingly, being with such a family had begun to shape his mentality in questionable ways.

After Tsunade started working at the hospital, she recommended that Haru also volunteer there. Even though all he could do was help with cleaning and organizing tools, he was satisfied because he knew that as he grew older and demonstrated his skills, his role would expand. Additionally, having Tsunade there allowed him to follow her and witness a variety of medical cases, which was one of the benefits he was currently enjoying.

Although Tsunade was not yet her future self, many people could see her potential, which gave her certain privileges. One of these privileges was allowing Haru to work at the hospital, where he is currently the youngest worker. This would not have been possible without her. Even if Mito wanted him to work, it would have been much more difficult without Tsunade's influence. The Senju clan did not have much power and influence in the hospital previously, as it was under the complete control of the Hokage.

Haru took this opportunity very seriously and worked diligently even on the smallest tasks assigned to him. Tsunade had given him a chance, and it was up to him to make the most of it. Haru excelled at taking anything that was given to him and working extremely hard to achieve more. Being Mito's grandson was proof of his potential, and he had come a long way from just being Nawaki's friend. His success was due to his strong work ethic, intelligence, and personality.

As Haru worked at the hospital, many medical workers and patients began to notice the calm and diligent young boy. Despite his age, his composed personality earned him kindness and patience from many people. Haru was pleased with this, knowing that his image played a significant role in the opportunities he received. He recognized that hard work and responsibility were attractive qualities, particularly for a cute little kid like him.
