Hyuga Clan Family Meeting

/One day earlier, Hyuga clan compound, main house, meeting room/

/3rd person POV/

There was currently one person inside the Hyuga clans meeting room. Hiashi Hyuga the clan head, was waiting for his eldest and younger daughter, Hinata and Hanabi Hyuga, to arrive.

After having a emergency meeting with the Hokage, Hiashi was excited! Not only did he successfully avoid placing the Hyuga clans curse mark on either of his daughters, fulfilling his promise to his now deceased wife. He also gained a potential monstrous Son in law, who not only had a dojutsu similar to his own, but also a bloodline selection! Something more rare and powerful then a typical bloodline limit!

Hiashi knew he had to speed up the marriage, if not, than when news about the boy becomes known it would be trouble! Hiashi could imagine the various clans running around trying to marry off there daughters as the main wife of the boy.

'This is too important for not only myself, but the clan as a whole. Having the jump on the other clans will give us much more benefits. As long as Hinata agrees to the marriage everything should play out fine.' Hiashi thought as he thought about his eldest daughter, he was quite worried to how she might react to the marriage. He knew that she had feelings for another boy, but it was impossible. The boy was the nine tail fox's jinchuriki, he was a magnet for trouble!

Hiashi would never allow his daughter to marry that boy. 'she's timid and meek as it is, she wouldn't be able to handle the pressure that comes with that boy.' He thought as he looked as the doors to the room opened, and his two daughters walked in and sat on the floor in front of Him.

"Good evening father." the two sisters said in union

"Good evening Hanabi, Hinata." Hiashi said, as he had already informed the Hyuga clan elders of his decision and plan, he now had to treat Hanabi as the heir. Meaning Hinata would come second when it came to the clans traditions.

After hearing his reply Hanabi slightly frowned in confusion, as hinata shook rather visibly before calming herself down with deep breaths.

"I called the two of you here for an important matter." Hiashi said sternly before continuing "Hanabi will be replacing Hinata as the heir to the clan."

"Father! I can't! Sister is the heiress!" Hanabi quickly said, as Hinata looked down, and started shaking with tears starting to accumulate within her eyes.

"Your sister has a much more important role." Hiashi said as he stared at his eldest daughter current state. 'It was a right decision, she wouldn't be able to handle the pressure of being a clan head. It's better to live her life without those worries.' Hiashi thought

Hinata hearing this wiped away her tears as she stared at her father with a confused expression. Hanabi also perked up her ears to listen to Hiashi's explanation.

Hiashi took a deep breath and readied himself "Hinata, you are to be married to Princess Tsunade Senju's second apprentice Zasu Doku."

Hinata turned pale and instantly started to cry as she looked down at the floor.

Hanabi not noticing her sisters plight yelled in excitement "congratulations sister!"

Hiashi stared at the scene with mix emotions 'although you might hate me, I will not regret my decision as this will free you from a cursed fate. Now I hope you make the correct decision.'

"Sister what's wrong!" Hanabi finally realizing her sisters state quickly went to help her sister calm down.

"No… nothing..." Hinata tried her best to reign in her emotions, not wanting to show her little sister her current state.

"Hinata." Hiashi spoke, gaining the attention of the two sisters

"Ye… yes father?" Hinata said slowly still trying to hold back her tears

"Although I wish for you to accept the marriage, it is ultimately your choice as Princess Tsunade does not want to force you into it." Hiashi said "you have the right to cancel the arrangement if you so choose."

Hinata after hearing that became much more relieved and excited, before realizing something seemed wrong "fa… father… if.. if I were to decline… what would happen?"

Hiashi looked at his daughter with a serious expression "if you were to decline, you will regain the position of heiress to the clan." Hiashi said as he took a deep breath before looking at Hinata with a serious expression "but the elders and I have already discussed the decision. The boy Zasu is considered to be a prodigy, he is 12 years old, the same age group as you Hinata. He also posses a similar Dojutsu to the Byakugan. From what princess Tsunade has said, Zasu possesses eyesight better than any Hyuga she's ever met."

"He is too important to let go of, so in the case you decline Hinata. Your sister Hanabi, will be arranged to marry the boy." Hiashi finished before continuing "and Hanabi." Hiashi stared at his younger daughter "you will not be able to decline the arrangement."

'This is the loophole.' Thought Hiashi, although Tsunade had told him sternly that if Hinata so chooses to cancel the engagement, she had every right to. 'But she never said anything about Hanabi.' Thought Hiashi 'I would rather force Hanabi, and have both my daughters hate me than place a curse mark on either of them.'

Hiashi looked back and stared at his daughters. He was waiting for Hinata to make a decision.

"I agree!" Surprising both Hiashi and Hinata, Hanabi was the first to speak, as she agreed to the engagement without waiting for Hinata to make her decision. "My sister should be the heir! I'll accept the marriage, so please let her continue being the heiress!"
