77 The Scroll of Seals

As the wind and flames collided, a resounding 'boom' echoed through the air, unleashing a colossal burst of fire that transformed the entire surroundings into a blazing sea.

The furious flames compelled even the seasoned Jōnin to hastily retreat.

Among the Jōnin, each a master of their respective ninja arts, a variety of elemental ninjutsu unfolded.

Naruto surprised everyone with his extraordinary ninjutsu abilities.

Utilizing Wind Style combined with Fire Style, he created a powerful fusion that surpassed expectations. The resultant chemical reaction threatened to unleash a firestorm upon the scene.

Amidst the chaos, the Jōnin voiced their concerns about the spreading fire, fearing it could consume the entire village. Speculations arose about Naruto's fate, with some questioning if he had recklessly burned himself to death.

However, the seasoned ninja knew better. One veteran scoffed at the idea, emphasizing the impossibility of a skilled ninja succumbing to their own techniques.

Realizing the imminent danger, the Jōnin hurriedly endeavored to extinguish the flames before catastrophe struck. Little did they know that Naruto, the orchestrator of the chaos, had vanished from their midst.

Having released a formidable fire attack through a Shadow Clone, Naruto seized the opportunity to slip away unnoticed. Unbeknownst to the Jōnin, he activated the Gouyu Rinnegan, an eye capable of absorbing and nullifying Chakra. Safely concealed within the heart of the fiery maelstrom, Naruto quietly departed.

The Jōnin, still engrossed in their efforts to quell the flames, remained oblivious to Naruto's escape. Meanwhile, Naruto, with his sights set on a greater prize—Scroll of Seals—calmly plotted his next move, leaving the chaos behind as he soared into the sky, a silent departure marking the end of the fiery spectacle.

The legendary Scroll of Seals, a tome renowned for imprisoning the Forbidden Techniques within the hidden confines of Konoha Village.

"It's a treasure trove of wonders," Naruto's eyes ignited with curiosity.

For within its pages lay a plethora of treasures, including the Impure World Reincarnation, purportedly borrowed from the Scroll of Seals itself, forming Orochimaru's mightiest secret art. Impure

Naruto's singular focus emerged—he wouldn't shy away from facing Jōnin, for time was of the essence. By the time Konoha Village stirred, it might be too late.

Then there's Kurama's seal. When Konoha Village comes calling, would Jiraiya still broker a pact with Mount Myōboku on his behalf?

Unable to locate that elusive toad, the key to his predicament remained elusive.

"Darn it, old man, don't croak and burden me. Who would've thought, if I can't find the key, it's all for naught?"

"Can Jiraiya be trusted? I haven't laid eyes on him since I took my first breath.

Naruto began grumbling anew.

Whether it was Minato's discreet maneuvers or Jiraiya's conspicuous absence, neither bode well for him.

Hence, his fixation on the Scroll of Seals intensified.

Without it, Kurama's might lay dormant. It was a travesty to possess such a colossal "nuclear battery" and not harness its power.

Naruto paid no heed to the Jōnin entrenched in combat below. Instead, he soared across the skies above Konoha Village, making a beeline for the Hokage building.

At this hour, the Hokage building lay shrouded in an unusual quiet, the night sky casting its shadows upon the village. The aftermath of the Uchiha clan turmoil and the pursuit of Naruto had left the once heavily guarded structure eerily vacant.

In defiance of the late hour, Naruto descended from the skies, landing stealthily atop the Hokage building. His presence went unnoticed, a testament to his unparalleled ninja skills. Without a hint of hesitation, he skillfully entered through a window near the building's summit, making his way to the Hokage's office.

To his surprise, the Hokage's office occupied a room on the highest floor, a detail previously unbeknownst to him. Normally a bastion of strict security, tonight was an exception due to the absence of the Uchiha clan and the Third Hokage.

Inside the office, Naruto found himself drawn to the portraits of the Hokage adorning the walls. The visages of the First, Second, and Third Hokage, as well as the prominent Fourth Hokage, stared back at him.

Compelled by an unspoken destiny, he approached the Hokage's desk, the seat of power.

With a sense of capmness, he seated himself in the Hokage's chair. The weight of pedigree and qualification hung in the air, signaling a destiny foretold.

As he contemplated the path ahead, a voice echoed from beyond the office door, breaking the silence, "That position was meant for you."
